Beautiful pub as very friendly staffs

Simply a fantastic local country pub. Tasty pints and they serve wood fired pizza, sit in or take away. Family entertainment like movies on big screen or painting during the weekend.

Stunning atmosphere and their pizzas are amazing. What stood out for me was the variety if wines available in small bottles. Ensuring freshness and not serving cheap bottles of wine.

Attended a Hen Paint and sip y.day, very attentive staff and great food and service after. Quick with the gorgeous pizzas.

Probably the best watering hole in Monaghan, they even have their own beer on draft, great pint of Guinness and accommodation available too. 😋🍺💪

The bar staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it all day long

First time in hughies. Lovely pints. Unfortunately we were only passing and didn’t get to try their pizza. Outside area would be a great place for a kids birthday party.

Great pizza (gluten free was available), fantastic Guinness and a great atmosphere on the Saturday night. Only problem was had to go back to the bar and ask for my Guinness as the bartender had forgotten about it.

We stayed in the oldschool house for a team night away. We had pizza delivered from Hughies and they were fab . We danced the night away in the bar and visited the hidden haven for a sauna the next morning . Fab experience all round.

What a fantastic weekend spent in Hughie's Corcaghan Monaghan with my brilliant M&Os Seneschalstown. The Old School House was perfect accomodation to hold 27 of us & The Hidden Sauna was the perfect treat next morning for the cure! We highly recommend it & thank you Emma.

We stayed in the Old School House out the back of Hughies for the weekend! I would highly recommend! We had an amazing weekend, 15 of us, with plenty of room for more. We had the whole place to ourselves, with everything we needed! Great Menu for Pizza’s, freshly made with gluten free options 🤗 Big cosy fire and live music in Hughies, we danced the night away! ☺️ Great staff and atmosphere! And to top it off with the Sauna and Cold Plunge the following morning , there’s a Coffee Pod too with another menu for Breakfast 🥰 Can’t wait to book in again! 🤩

Was in Hughies pub on Saturday night as we were staying next door at our Airbnb at the Old School house. As a gang of 20+ ladies we got fabulous pizzas delivered from Hughies to our accommodation and then we danced the night away in the pub to a brilliant banjo and guitar player ( Banjaxed- i think is their name!) next day we were welcomed at the Hidden Haven to use the saunas and plunge pools, what a cure for us!! also got a fab coffee at the truck in front of Hughies which sent us nicely off on our journey home!

Honestly, the nicest gluten free pizza I’ve ever had and a lovely way to spend a Friday evening with family.
