4/5 Jungle J. 9 months ago on Google
I
spent
three
nights
here
with
my
family
while
visiting
DC.
I
chose
this
hotel
for
affordability
and
location.
It’s
close
to
a
Metro
stop
in
a
safe
neighborhood
with
lots
of
dining
options.
This
is
an
old
hotel
desperately
in
need
of
a
refresh.
It’s
aesthetically
in
disrepair
and
could
use
some
modern
upgrades.
This
was
off
putting
at
first,
but
the
hotel
was
very
clean
and
functional.
The
beds
were
not
the
greatest
but
not
terrible,
good
pillows,
clean
soft
linens.
The
pool
was
nice
but
the
pool
chairs
need
to
be
replaced
and
I
had
to
ask
for
towels.
But
the
staff
was
pleasant
and
helpful.
At
the
front
desk,
Mimi
was
particularly
gracious
and
helpful.
She
gave
me
good
local
advice
and
was
very
friendly.
Friendly
people
at
the
front
desk
go
a
long
way
towards
making
a
good
stay.
I’ll
consider
staying
here
again
next
time
we’re
visiting
DC.
