Small river alongside park for 10+ aged kids. Cool treehouse and smaller playground for younger kids. Dog-friendly.

Very nice park down by 4 mile run and the bike trail. Big picnic pavilion with bathrooms, two play areas with slides, swings, sand box and benches tables. Close to the dog park too. Some limited parking is available near the park. Other parking is available at the top of the hill, or near the dog park.

Two ped & bike bridges washed away in recent storm, removed old one, but not seen when rebuilding plans. Nearby rest rooms closed right after reconstruction including picnic pavilion and put up chemical toilets. If going from w&od outbound bad hills as work around out to South Carlyn Springs road by the nature center and two schools... Water cleanliness of streams and reports on here of needles & condoms in dog park water, so beware, when not raw sewage from pipe breaks, etc. Low concrete bridges flood out, but high w&od usually ok. Big hills into and out of besides w&od rail trail (east west ish). Update: adding some off color stream day photos

Fancy slides and swings and sand pit. Come prepared for dirty kids if in the sand. And wet if jumping in the stream. You can also stay dry if you make them.

What a wonderful park! Love all the huge mature trees that surround the park as they give shelter from the sun. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. The sound of the rocky stream is so calming and a nice place to dip your toes in the summer heat. There is a trail that runs along side the park. Just a couple of feet from the park is a public restroom. The park itself has a slide, swings, sandbox, seesaw, and a climbing structure. My boys ages 7-11 loved it.

Delightful play equipment and soft surfaces for the young ones. There is a rubbery compound available to run on and there is a mulch surface available to scoot your feet around on. I don't have kids but if I did I would bring them here

Just amazing. Yes it is in town, easy to get to. but the moment you are settled, you are immersed in a captivating ambiance reminiscent of deep forest. Everything is thoughtfully laid out like the seating areas, play grounds and the restrooms and finally the parking.

Great place to go with my kids. I usually go to the dog park first and walk over with the whole gang. The dog park is easy access and it's good to get my dog tired from running around with other pups. Convenient with a couple of small parking lots around because i need to bring kid supplies and the dog and the kids. Two play places. A sand pit, swing set, see saw, couple of misc springy spinny bits. Lots to tire out my toddlers with. Bit hard to get to the top of the big slide as an adult though. I squeeze in, but I'm kinda skinny. Sometimes the kids need a big person to go with em. Plus, there's a large pavilion for parties and lots of nature surrounding you. No vehicle roads next to it.

Great trail access, pretty stream, and lots of nature-inspired elements on the playground. My son wants this treehouse in our yard.

Omg this was like whole childhood. I'd always come here with my family and friends and we'd have a blast! It has many thing to do like going to the playground, biking, jogging, walking, cooling down at the pond, etc! I missed this place so much after I moved :(
