So we went out to have a dine-in lunch after a lengthy break and were looking forward to the whole restaurant dining experience. I have eaten at the DC branch of PF Chang so was looking forward to an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately that was not in cards. 🥲 The restaurant was almost empty (even though we went at around 1pm). I did see quite a few take out bags so I am guessing their main business is still from clients ordering takeout. We were given a table and waited almost 10 minutes and were actually getting ready to leave when a waiter strolled over. He showed us a bar code on a wine menu card on the table that needed to be scanned to get their online menu. We asked for water (seriously, no water so far) and he nodded and strolled away. Of course he did not come back, leaving us to wallow in our thirst! So, 20 minutes in, with no food and water, being parched and famished by now, we quickly made our menu selections. We decided on two dishes. Mapo tofu and Chang’s lettuce wraps (lettuce stuffed with tofu pieces). We waited and waited and waited and signaled and gestured and finally the waiter strolled over, having completely neglected our request for water. Being fairly steamed by now (pun intended) I asked for our water, which he gave. What he did not give was a semblance of an apology. Anyway, we ordered and were prepared for another long wait. The food however came apparently quickly (not really but frankly he had us trained pretty well now). So I have been eating Mapo tofu for over 20 years now and also cook it at home so I was quite certain that what was served was no way Mapo tofu. It was basically braised, firm tofu served on a bed of broccoli. Mapo tofu is super soft, silken tofu prepared with fermented black beans, Doubanjiang (chilli bean paste), Sichuan peppers and spring onions. My conversation with the waiter went as follows Me: We ordered Mapo tofu Waiter: Yes Me: This is not Mapo tofu Waiter: Yes it is Me: Are you sure? Waiter: Yes Me: I am pretty sure that this is not Mapo tofu Waiter: Yes it is Feeling like we are in a rut and more than famished by now I accepted defeat and ate my “mapo” tofu. The dish was sweet and not very satisfying to my palate, though the sheer number of broccoli florets were somewhat filling. Well I am not sure if PF Chang runs a franchise (because the food and service at their DC branch is much better) or this is post COVID or I got a bad waiter. But I for one am not willing to go back and verify. ——- Update 8/24/2021 ——- Someone from PF Chang promptly contacted me and took the details of the incident. I am quite impressed by their commitment to customer satisfaction and quite convinced that this experience is an one off. They also sent me a sincere apology note. Nicely done! Based on that, I have changed my rating to 3-stars. Am also looking forward to my next visit 😀

I have been to this place in person and ordered take away. I love the authenticity of the flavors used in the foods. I have tried their Pork chop, Pad Thai, Spring rolls and chicken bowls which were good in taste.

Great atmosphere! We came it abot 3:15 and were the only guest there for a while. The food was delicious and we didn't wait long. Our waitress Julia was very attentive. Overall great experience. My daughter ordered the orange chicken with noodle, the rest of us ordered combination lo mein. Very tasty. Julia even made my daughter a personalized birthday drink. Shirly temple with a sugar stick

Wow very beautiful establishments. One of the best places I've been to in My Life. The food was superb. I have to tip my hat to the chef. Even though they were short staff they did a awesome job thank you..

Do not recommend. Ordered pick up online. Got order home to find that the Kung Pao Chicken was missing the peanuts and celery. Menu cost of this meal was $19.90. It wasn't worth half of that cost. I gave one extra star because the hostess was nice.

That was such a letdown. I would not recommend this location based on my experience. All three dishes were sub-par. You could get better prepared food at a mall food court. The way the fortune looks sums up the experience.

I recently visited P.F. Chang’s and had an amazing experience. The service, particularly from bartender Ciela, was exceptional. The ambiance and overall atmosphere of the place were great. Highly recommend!

Honestly, best experience I've had in a restaurant in forever! My server, Ciela, was very welcoming! She explained through her recommendations of the drinks, and food. She gave me a vividly wide perspective of what to expect and what to order based on my likes in food! If possible, Id get her as your server, especially if you're not accustomed to the this restaurant yet! She was very honest and kind, so im sure you all will gave the same experience just as I did! To add on, the food was delightful. Full of flavor and many options to choose from! I highly recommend this restaurant!

What $17 (plus tip) gets you. Not delivered either. I walked there in the freezing rain and waited 35 minutes to get this half handful of shrimp and a cup of sauce that’s 90% empty.

I visited the Arlington PF Changs for “Happy Hour” while in town in business. When arriving I stated that I was there for happy hour and was prompted to seat myself so the hostess could finish wiping down menus in the bar area. 5 mins later I asked for a happy hour menu and was told they no longer offer that post pandemic. 10 mins later, I had a manager approach my table to take my drink/food order because no one was working in the bar. From that point on I struggled to get service and had to seek out a server/bartender that began working the area just to get a water. Food was very salty even for PF Changs. Upon completion of my meal, I had to request the check, takeout box and later silverware which I had to retrieve on my own from the hostess stand because the bartender/server was too busy and forgot. For a $60+ bill for two appetizers, one adult beverage and poor service, I was very disappointed. I frequent the PF Changs in my hometown often and typically have a great experience.

It’s incredible how they keep leaving this signal after a towing car took mine from their front door, not fair I had to pay for the towing because it supposes that we can park but the police says that, that place is a private space. They only said, yes everyday the towing company takes car from here. We have to be careful 😤 and yes be careful when you go there, don’t park in that place

Ordered The Sea Bass & when when I bit into the texture was weird. I cut it down the middle sm it’s absolutely raw. I called the establishment and was told report it to Door Dash. No apology or investigation of why they are serving raw food. This was completely unacceptable!! I look done on the outside but clearly the seared it of one min max.

Save your money and time! It’s not worth it! I called to place an order for orange chicken got all the way home and the chicken tasted old the sauce was watery. Highly disappointed I will not be returning!!! I called to speak with the manager waited an hour for them to just get back on the phone and ask me for my number and said the manger will give me a call back because he had to leave because he had an emergency. So you mean to tell me it's nobody else working who can get on the phone and speak with customers since the manager is unavailable.

Wow the PF Chang’s in Ballston is the best! The food was so delicious and cooked perfectly. The lettuce wrap is a must when you go here. What made this experience really good was our server Alexander. He is a nice and funny guy! He showed great hospitality and made sure we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend coming here because of him and the food!!

I ordered Singapore noodles and shrimp with lobsters sauce. Taste was terrible and portion was poor. Price, quality and quantity are not aligned. Its all about hype and overpriced here. It was my first and last order I made this place.

Yummy food. I enjoyed the combination fried rice, tried out the Singapore street noodles (love the curry).

We tried the crab fried wonton for starters, crispy honey glazed shrimps, and stir fried egg plants. The food tasted really good. The crab meat was moist with a sweet undertone. The shrimps were really crispy on the outside from the glaze, and the meat was soft and tender. The eggplants were soft yet held their shape and the sauce tasted very wholesome. The servers were nice, warm, and really quick with the service, and the ambiance was warm too. Will be back again. :)

They were serving looks and top-notch hospitality, making sure my dining experience was nothing short of epic! Now, let's talk about the food, 'cause sis, it was next level! Every bite was a flavor explosion, from the sweet and sour chicken to the sizzling Mongolian beef. It was like a taste sensation journey, and I was here for every delicious moment! 🍗🔥 And those lettuce wraps? Ooh, girl, they had me feeling some type of way – in the best possible sense! 🥬😍 They were on point with their recommendations and always had a smile on their face – major props! 💁‍♀️💖

My wife and I came in on a Saturday and we were seated promptly, greeted quickly, the food came out at a nice pace still steaming hot, and everything was delicious. We even had a manager, Josh, come and check in on us to make sure we were having a great time. It was a wonderful experience, and I am sure to return.

We liked the food but were mislead by the waiter. She didn’t specifically say that swapping rice by rice noodle was going to be $10 more for each dish. So at the end of the meal, the billed showed the extra charges. We complained and she removed 2 out of 3 of them but was really upset. We kept looking for her during the meal… no real good service. We tipped her nonetheless but barely showed respect. The whole experience got affected by her behavior. Food was good.

My 80 year old mother LOVES P. F. Chang's!!! My husband and I take her every chance we get (Glebe Road location) and they NEVER disappoint! Today was no exception! Thank you to the hostess for graciously taking our drink order while we waited for our server, Cody to become available. Cody was very knowledgeable, patient and efficient. There was a tiny snafu in the kitchen, but Cody was quick to resolve the situation. Overall, our dining experience was top-notch. Cody was pleasant, personable and definitely displayed a passion for their job. Thank you Cody for your service and hopefully we'll appear in your section again in the near future!

Ballston P.F. Chang’s is the best! I’m not sure why this location is so much better but it just is. This was my first P.F. Chang’s experience (while on my vacation) and it’s never been beat. P.F Chang’s in general is amazing but they do it right here! Don’t pass this location up!

Had dinner with my daughter, before she headed back to school. This was her choice, which was good. Food was good and didn't take long to come out. I had the hot and sour soup and sushi which was good. She had the combination fried rice which was a nice size portion and dumplings. The waiter was ok, he was gone a bit to long with out checking on us. Over all pretty good experience.

This is hands down the best P.F. Chang’s location I’ve ever eaten at. I’ve had the pleasure of dining in at this location a few months ago for the first time and I loved the experience. It was very busy and I was afraid I wouldn’t get the service and quality of food that I expected. However, Vicky gave me and my guests the best menu suggestions and seating. She made sure that everything we asked for was done according to our liking. I came back again after that to order takeout/to go and I happened to see her again and she took care of my order once again everything that I opened up at home was perfect. I’m going back this week and I hope to see her there again, I will ask for her if I see her. She’s absolutely very professional, informative and very friendly and she goes above and beyond to ensure that you will be taken care of. This place has become my new favorite pf location and she’s definitely the person you’ll want servicing you and your guests!

As someone who has a sesame allergy, it’s difficult to find Chinese restaurants that can accommodate me. The manager, Joshua, went above and beyond, and staff were very knowledgeable about how to handle my allergy. Our waitress, Mei Ling, was super friendly and awesome to talk to! And on top of all that, the food was amazing. This is definitely among the best restaurant experiences I’ve had.

Ordered delivery from this location. Was delivered on time by Door Dash. Great tasting Handmade Shrimp Dumplings (6) and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Well protected by plastic containers and even a wonderful looking bag. Great food but when you add delivery charge, estimared fees (?), and tip it amounts to almost half my grocery bill. The food was wonderful, a five out of five, but even without all those add ons it would cost over 28 dollars. And, to be honest, that is still a little high. Glade I tried them out, maybe in the future will dine-in, but no more delivery.

Mei Ling is a great waitress. We came here for the first time and she made sure that we got our food made vegan and spicy. She was attentive and got our food as per our request. The restaurant was clean and prepared the food the right way. We will definitely be come back every time we are in DC, hopefully get Mei Ling to serve us.

I forgot to take pictures of our meals but everything was tasty and fresh! Highly recommend the fried tofu as a sub for any meat dish, the lettuce wraps are so flavorful and fresh, and the Mongolian beef was incredible. Most of all our server Cody was polite, attentive, and incredibly professional. Excellent customer service here from Cody and all staff, cannot wait to be back!
