Truly wonderful place! My Italian wife was in heaven. They have everything from prepared foods (pizza, subs, coffee, desserts) to a full range of Italian groceries and a nice wine area. Outdoor seating a plus as well. So shop there, dine there, or both!

Riding an electric bike with my son, an energy replenishment point on the way. There is ample parking lot here. Plenty of outdoor dining tables, if you add an exquisite European-style garden, it will be more perfect, but he doesn't have it. This is a grocery store selling Italian food. Inside is like a food plaza composed of different partners. It sells raw meat, sausage, cheese, pickles, salads, pizza, sandwiches, drinks, seasonings, snacks, sweets, bread, ice cream, coffee, tea, drinks and more. I bought two pieces of pizza, and the young salesperson volunteered to help me reheat the pizza in the oven. It was very heartwarming. Please remember that the pizza here is made with an electric infrared heating oven with pizza stone, not a wood-burning pizza oven. . The pizza is also a New York style with rich ingredients, but it is easy to eat, and there is no complaint. Then I bought a cup of espresso coffee, a cup of cappuccino, and a piece of mullet bread. The coffee here is generally not special, although it uses lily coffee beans, it is also a professional commercial espresso machine. , But the taste is like the coffee beans that have been opened for a long time, the fat is not very strong, and the cappuccino is just a normal American taste. The overall feeling of coffee is just one word, light. That mullet bread is just mediocre, a bit cold. Then I bought a cup of double-ball ice cream. My son had a very happy meal. Well, I'm still reliable with Nice Cream ice cream. Generally speaking, this is a concentrated place for leisure and socializing in the community. It is also a snack place for many parents and children after school. It has the convenience of home, long service hours, low prices, convenient parking, and a moderate location. One place can meet most of your needs. But he is not authentic, he has everything but nothing is done well, he has no native Italian soul. What's the problem? Even if he is 100% Italian, how many people can care about it. Anyway, it is convenient, cheap, and serving the community wholeheartedly is already very good. At least he is a resting place for my parents and children. I cherish and enjoy all the good times he brings. thanks.

This is a great store that has something for everyone. I've recently started getting their ready made foods from the refrigerated section and everything has been yummy. I especially liked the eggplant parm. Illy coffee and tiramisu are great. Lots of gourmet wine, cheese and beer. I'm moving from Arlington but will continue to visit the Italian Store!

This has been an Arlington staple for years, and for a good reason! Excellent selection of gourmet food and wine, as well as prepared foods in the refrigerator. Good coffee and amazing deserts. I am a fan of their thin crust pizzas - one slice will definitely fill you up. Some parking and outdoor seating are super convenient.

First time here and I was super impressed! I have driven past so many times wanting to stop before but never had the time. I’ll be back for sure and will be bringing my family to check it out. Chatted with the one of the owners and managers and they were very nice. They took some time to tell me a bit about their history and even gave me a cannoli as a welcome gift! Thank you for a wonderful first experience!

The sandwich did not feel greasy at all. It was so refreshing actually. Definitely a revisit store! And they have outside seating!

My first visit to the Italian Store in Westover could not have been any better. The store is clean, well laid out and the staff is polite and efficient. Now let's get down to the food. I ordered 2 different sandwiches (one cold and one hot) and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. They also have a good selection of packaged foods that assures there's something for everyone's taste or needs. This is definitely a place to add to your must try list. It is on my love at first taste list so I will be back...and soon!

Sandwiches used to be top notch. But the meat content to price is really lacking. There take and go pasta dishes however are really good! Sausage and peppers is my go to. Also have a decent selection of soda’s (not just the big names), pizza is decent, customer service is run of the mill but due to mostly young kids. I know this place is a local staple and I get it but there are other places to get a proper sub.

I love it here and come in frequently. It reminds me of my grandmother, who was very old and very Italian living in the Bronx. My favorites are the pizza and prepackaged food for a dinner or lunch. I'll even get a slice pizza at an off time because it's still so good even if it was sitting out for a little while. I think it's the best NY slice in Arlington. They have their own sauce and dough; you can make your own pizza at home that is also delicious. Friday nights and Saturday during the day there are free wine tastings, which is always a joy to attend. The staff are super friendly. It's nice to sit outside or at the storefront bar and grab a bite. This is their larger store and it's a great place to get specialty Italian groceries.

This was one of the first places I visited when I moved here. The atmosphere was awesome, the people were great and the service was top notch, but lately with the new hires at the registers it feels like that one episode of Seinfeld (you know the one). Very unfriendly. Especially if you interrupt their texting session. I guess kindness of service comes later or you could consider hiring some morning people. That's just my 2 cents. Well actually$7.25.

As an Italian native New Yorker, this place gets a good review from me! Their prices are great for the products used. I have now tried almost everything except the coffee, which my roommates have told me is amazing. I have had the pizza, which for Virginia is 7/10 (pretty good!). Their sandwiches are perfect! If you are craving a meaty fresh sandwich, this is the place to go. The gelato is also amazing. My favorite thing they make - antipasto salad. SO GOOD! It comes prepackaged in a container by the register, which makes it easy to grab and go. They have lots of room to eat right outside the store and you can tell everyone in the area loves this place.

I can’t stay away from this place. The hot subs are delicious. I like the Caprese sub because they use fresh locally grown basil. The aroma and taste taste of thier basil is out of this world. They make their own secret recipe pesto daily and it is to die for and it is a weekly staple at my house. I choose the Italian store every time because they put a priority on customer service and supporting local agriculture. Next time you go buy the pesto, trust me you will love it!

♿️ The doors do not automatically open. There are no chairs inside & i believe it may be cramped for a wheelchair. There are chairs outside. For those with trouble standing you should know I stood about 10 minutes to get my tuna fish sandwich. The store was not fragranced. I love the Jordan almonds, the cheese and wine, the olives. They have really good pizza and subs. The prices are fair. The parking is free and about 6 ft from the entrance. It can be busy even on a weekday so be prepared to stand in line.

Great experience. Pizza was delicious (IMO, the best New York pizza in NoVA), with a nice and chewy dough crust. Sandwiches were also delicious, and for a reasonable price!

We love the Andiamo coffee bar and are regulars here. After many years in Europe, this is our go-to if we want a taste of authentic Italian coffee and snacks. The store itself is well-stocked and the pizza counter at the end of the store is a constant favourite. Can’t go wrong! We like this location much more than the others.

I am from out of the area but love to stop on when I visit. I made a purchase last week and just got home. While unpacking the wine I bought, I noticed I had been charged for four bottles of wine when I only purchased three. As I live 4 hours away I’m not sure how I can rectify this 😞 *Edit - I called and the error was promptly corrected. I’m glad I keep receipts! I was very impressed with the manager I spoke with. Thank you Italian Store.

Tastier $10 imported wines than you find at chain stores. Discount when you get 6. Incredible deli sandwiches (get the Capri) and our kid (age 2) has just fallen in love with the cheese pizza, whole and by the slice. Leave extra time for whole pizzas they get busy. By the slice is always good. We’ve had their party trays of cut sandwiches too which is genius for birthdays. Get a combo, pizzas too. Feed everyone!
