Hasn't changed in years and this is it's appeal. Friendly staff and regulars. Much improved in the last few years. Great pints and decent prices.

Not a bad place to get a drink.

Although this is quite a small Bar its a nice friendly wee place to hang out wy yer mates. Staff are friendly & the Stout is Good. Highly recommended.. 😎

I live in Antrim & visited Ballymena last week and l travelled by train. This town was always known as ie a busy market town friendly and canny folk which l would concur and always very courteous. I have visited the Horse & Jockey on several occasions. As a former Sales Rep with Senior bosses visiting N. Ireland customers, all would ask to visit the quiet and surprising Horse & Jockey bar the stories of their visit travelled via Sales Directors to Managers throughout Scotland & England. The Horse & Jockey is always worth a visit. DB

The staff are always 💯 , friendly service and great craic! the Horse & Jockey is the perfect wee hideaway to chill with friends or have a few games of pool with the other half. Will defo be back 👍

Great friendly place and having pool table main reason I go there to play pool have a pint and mellow out can't beat this place for that
