I heard about this place upon recommendation from a nearby hotel concierge and also saw that this place is Highly Rated on Google Maps. It’s a a fine dining restaurant great for dinner. The food were delicious, I’d say it was one of the best Indian food I ever had. However, I was a bit surprised when the bill came, it came down to £50 per person without drinks, considering it has only two dollar signs ($$) on Maps. I think that this restaurant should have a three dollar sign ($$$) instead. The service could also be improved, especially for customers who are not very familiar with Indian food. It would be helpful if the servers are trained to give a proper and friendlier explanation of the dishes and how to mix and match the dishes for family style.

Fantastic! We were hungry, the kind that can only be fulfilled by an authentic Indian meal, and the restaurant lived up to its name, adding a zing to everything we ordered. Rahul was a superb host, not only did he make sure we were comfortable, he understood our requirements - dietary & taste (nothing short of authentic), recommended dishes & delivered a fabulous food experience with his team. My wife and I both enjoyed the food & dining experience and will be back here soon for some more appetising meals. RECOMMEND!

We had a nice food in Indian Zing. Delicious! Taste, texture and aroma everything was perfect. Highly recommend to try them. Lovely atmosphere as well, soft music, not so many accents in interior. And staff members are polite and helpful

Hammersmith is very lucky to have a great selection of Indian restaurants. This one is the best! Where else can you find Bengal Lancer 🍺

I loved the food and service. It was my first formal Indian cuisine experience. I enjoyed everything including the dessert. The ambience was lively and great, though the restaurant is small. I’ll definitely return when I can. They had just 1 toilet for females though, so you’ll have to queue. Food portions were large as well. It was a great experience.

Sat outside the front on a warm June Wednesday evening and was not disappointed. Great drinks selection, great food, rapid service. i had the chicken tikka - nicely spicy, succulently soft, beautiful flavour - and my better half had the Lamb Raseela which she loved. For mains I went for the Fish Kawari which again had a nice kick to it (with an extra serving of crunchy dry red chillies) and an amazing blend of flavour with the fish cooked to perfection. My fiancée had the chicken korma, which whilst it wasn't your classic peshwari filling in liquid form in a jar, had a nice salt and sweet contrast with what tasted like a generous amount of stock with it. Delicious! Also I'd recommend getting some bread! The roti and paratha are super crusty and will mop up everything on your plate. Lastly we had the Rasmalai milk dumplings - Indian sweets that took me back to my grandparents in Kolkata - and the lady had the apple and fig muesli - a tad sweet but as long as you have a healthy dose of ice cream to contrast, you'll be ok. Can't believe I've been in West London this long and never discovered this place. Will definitely return!

Amazing flavours, not too spicy nor greasy. Good quality of lamb in the dhansak. Interesting naan of the day with truffle and cheese. Mostly good value for money except maybe the prawn starter which only had 3 (large) prawns for £9. Friendly and efficient service for takeaway

I seldomly write reviews however this deserved one. Excellent authentic Indian food and great service, Staff were helpful, I did not have booking given sat it was busy and table were not available when I explained to them I had travelled from long distance for Ideal home event and were keen to try their food, they were kind to accommodate us and even added my favourite complimentary dish to our order. It did not stop here I was struggling to find the parking Rahul came to help to give directions for parking. Well done, true Indian style service mindset "Atithi Devo Bhava", I will surely go again

Indian Zing is a brilliant operation. The staff are attentive, but not intrusive and the food is divine. We took the Ghatti Lamb, the classic Hill Station curry, and the South Indian Chettinad Duck. Both were full of spice and flavour! The Baigan Bharta was also most welcome. I strongly recommend this restaurant for authentic Indian cuisine.

We went for a dinner at Indian Zing and they have some unique and delicious dishes with some nice twists to traditional Indian food. Being vegetarian we did find enough options to try and food had unique flavours even in the usual dishes. They also provided wonderful birthday surprise to us. Worth a visit if you are looking for some amazing Indian dishes.

This was our first time trying Indian Zing despite living only round the corner. Both the service and food was fantastic. Very kind and accommodating and they took care in providing myself with the most delicious vegan dish (off menu)! We were all extremely grateful to kindly receive an on-the-house Christmas drink each to end the evening too. Cosy atmosphere and lovely staff. Highly highly recommended!

An amazing place still after the my 1st visit when Indian Zing opened. Great food, hospitality and service. I had the pleasure of working with the proprietors annually as they generously gave a meal and wine as a raffle prize for a local school. It is their kindness that overwhelms all. Thank you yet for another enjoyable meal. AAP

Amazing dining experience. Went here yesterday after many years and hence amazed that the quality has been maintained consistently all these years without cutting any corners. All dishes are authentic Indian and each one has its own authentic unique taste and flavour. It's one of those places that you go once and want to definitely go again with full confidence.

My partner and I walked in without a reservation on a Friday night (around 6:30) and were able to get a table. The food was absolutely delicious! The flavours were amazing and the spice level was just right. We were warned that the main dishes we were getting were “very hot” by the server, but we didn’t think it was overly spicy, maybe for some people it is. The server we had (maybe the manager?) seemed a little distracted when serving us with people coming through the door or what the other staff were doing but it didn’t hinder our experience that much. Would recommend when looking for quality Indian food on this side of London! P.s if you love goats cheese and coriander then definitely get the goats cheese starter!

The food is amazing and has authentic Indian taste . The hospitality is brilliant. Me and my husband visited on our wedding anniversary and was provided with complimentary drink and a little dessert to celebrate 🎉

I had lamb and it was so tough to chew, I presume it was overcooked if not stale. The nan bread and rice were “okay”, I’ve had much better at chain Indian restaurants in London. The service was bad other than one young girl who was kind and okay at her work - but I won’t go into the details. The restaurant atmosphere was nice. Overall I thinks that a 4.6 review in google is highly overrated and misleading for this restaurant.

Just had one of the best indian meal. We were looked after by Bijoy Dada. Most delicious food veg and nonveg - feels like homemade food, I would go there anyday. Highly recommend if you want real Indian food without going to India.

I wholeheartedly recommend Indian Zing. Having been there casually with friends and family, I recently organised a dinner for 22 with my colleague, and the experience was exceptional. The staff was accommodating, discussing seating, dietary needs, and budget considerations. The curated menu was superb, and the food exceeded expectations. We're definitely planning to return for both personal and work-related events.

Amazing food, highly recommend!! This restaurant came recommended by a friend of a friend and they were able to accommodate a last minute table for us for 10 people - both the quality of the food and the service was outstanding, the staff were all knowledgable about allergies and gave recommendations on portion sizes and dishes they would advise based on our preferences. A very underrated restaurant, would definitely go back! My personal favourites were there lamb kebabs they were literally melt in the mouth ..

Authentic Indian food in a nice setting. Dishes are rated by number of chillies. We opted for the one chilli rating which we considered would be about half way up the chilli rating. Slightly hot for us initially but we eased into it once we'd become accustomed! Chicken dish and duck dish were both lovely and good value for money.

Just love Zing. Superb food, always different, and supremely original. We loved Zilla in Barnes, and this is the mothership, so try it. Meanwhile they serve a chilled red Gamay, which goes perfectly with the spicy food. 10/10 thank you.

The food here is exquisite. Every bite is a burst of flavour. The plating of the food blew me away to the point of not eating it! The decor of the place creates a perfect atmosphere for a family dinner. There are even tables in the back for dinners for 2. In my opinion, the Devon crab is a classic. The soft warm potatoes matched with the savoury meat generates a mixture of luscious and delicate appetiser.

What an amazing restaurant! I went there with my family and we enjoyed it very much! It has food for first-time-Indian-food eaters (less spicy) to a very advanced spice level. The meal was delicious and the waiters very friendly. The ambience also ensures a lovely visit. Would definitely recommend!

Been coming here since I moved to London and it never disappoints. Would recommend the prawn starter, for those who like spice, and the lamb mains, which are cooked perfectly! My absolute favourite restaurant in all of London. The waiters are also very attentive and will remember your favourite dishes if you are a regular.

Friendly restaurant topped up with beautiful dishes on the menu and a good value for money proposition. The owner of the restaurant is from Maharashtra, western part of India and they have endeavoured in affirming the tastes of erstwhile Maratha cuisine and the team has combined that with selected dishes from rest of India. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for an authentic culinary experience.

This is from far the best Indian restaurant in London. Since I left the country, each time I am back for holiday I always go to Zing. On every holiday time! the food is exquisite and fine. The price is very good.

This used to be my favourite Indian restaurant in London, but unfortunately has disappointed on the last two visits. The quality of food has decreased and the flavours, in this case of the Lamb Roganjosh, are just not the same as they use to be (unsure if this is due to a change in the recipes or the produce). The dish tasted more as a spicy tomato stew than of a good Indian curry unfortunately. Luckily the poppadom and accompanying chutneys remain very good although unlikely to make it worth another visit soon.

Personally me like this place a lot. I came there for the 3-d time yesterday. Every our visit was nicely excepted, quickly served, and tasty and fully filled up with delicious courses and excellent service. My family and our friends just love this place!

One of the best Indian restaurant decor I have seen, sophisticated. The manager is so good and efficient, great service by the staff. The food has good variety and is very authentic and delicious. A very good place for a special occasion, date night or a family curry night. You will not be disappointed

Excellent North Indian food at a higher level of sophistication than your usual London place. Don’t call it a curry place, because it’s so much more! Service was attentive and ambience is quiet and chill, white tablecloths and candle light suitable for a date and fine dining.

I rarely write reviews but everything about this place is perfect. I have now been over 1/2 dozen times and the food is consistently very good, the host and service very friendly and the place is quite comfortable. On the surface it might seem like a local restaurant however I would be willing to travel to eat there. Love it!
