Good food and drinks. Service was kinda weird because it’s all digital. It’s helpful for ordering because you can continually make orders throughout your time. However, we needed napkins and couldn’t find anyone walking around to ask. They have bathrooms and a nice bar. It was a cool setting and a good place to go with friends, family, or on a date.

We went the day before Mother’s Day to celebrate my mother and their fryer went down. We were fine with that because our server said the other two items we ordered were voided. No other explanation. To us, that meant she voided the charge instead of cancelling our order. We received the other three items staggered and were under the impression we were simply waiting for the fryer to reheat and to get our food. After waiting another twenty minutes, someone finally asked the server if we were going to get our food and she said she had already canceled it. No further explanation. With that, we left with my mom not eating anything, ready to heat up a frozen pizza to celebrate her Mother’s Day.

Went in tonight before going to see the lights. Initially I was a little nervous. It was empty and the music was loud. But once we spoke to one of the staff, they were very helpful and friendly. We ordered the Pretzel with beer cheese, it was very good. The wings were meaty and flavorful. We also had shrimp and grits. The shrimp had amazing flavor, but the grits were not the best. Kind of thick and clumpy. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was attentive. I would go back again.

We went for happy hour and got the margarita and figgy pop drinks and some pierogis. The value was great! I got the burger and my boyfriend got the cheesesteak. I didn’t try the cheesesteak but the Brussels sprouts were soooo good! I liked the fries as well but they came out after the mains and you could tell the gravy was a little solid. Got the wings before and they were good. The hot wings are the only place that when they say HOT they were hot! Will definitely go back.

Wonderful meal. Great staff! Cool eclectic 50s style diner. They have appetizer specials weekdays. The homemade pierogi’s were delicious. I’m using this location in my upcoming film.

I really enjoyed my first visit here! I just got food to go, but I was really happy with the vegan buffalo wings and the banh mi. For the banh mi, the bread wasn't quite what I usually expect from a banh mi, and I prefer more of a soy sauce vs a creamier sauce, but the flavor was still very good. Also, when I was picking up the order, i saw they have Brewer's Art Resurrection on draft, so I'll definitely be back again soon!

I really like this place. I go here sometimes on my break when I work late. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My only problem is that the kitchen forgets things often. Once they forgot my cheese on my cheesesteak. Another time they forgot my tarter sauce for my fish and chips. I have had a few more instances of them forgetting but it’s a cool place with good people and pretty decent food.

The food is mid. The wings were decent. Our drinks, food, and appetizer all came out at the same time. The customer service is awful. The bartenders let their loud, drunk, obnoxious friends sit at the bar and scream all night. They serviced their friends and ignored paying customers. Maybe that’s just the late night vibe. I’d be willing to give them another shot during the day.

Not a fan of the order online only deal, verizon service was super slow so had to wait a looong time to get anything in. Still asked for a tip too which I dont quite understand if its all an app waiting on you. I hope the staff isnt dependent on tips as it seems they have no control over the "service".

Dolly & I agree that this place is pretty average. Here are a list of items we tried: buffalo wings - dry/stale af. Rocket Burger (vegan) - EXTRA SPICY, fries- basic/oily no crunch. My friend had the shrimp and grits. Said it was okay- not changing lives. The decor is pretty dark, customer service was good but could be better. For example, we asked the waiter about an item on our plate and he had no idea what it was (that included the vegan burger). It's giving diner but with VERY basic food. I imagine it to be lit at night.

Great beer and shot specials, dwcent pricedbhot food and easy ordering via the toast system. Cool artwork and neat back story on this place. Perfect warm-up spot when visiting the lights on 34th st.

This became a hang out spot for my family. Food is good and you can order from your phone. Never had a problem with anyone who works there and everyone is friendly.

I visited for a couple of "chess nights" and it was quality both times! My cheese steak was authentic and made sure I would revisit. On my second go round I had the Korean burger and the Carolina barbecue wings. And it is a good thing that I was hungry because neither was a dainty portion. And the chemistry was great! Patrons were nice and the chess was a lot of fun as well. And Rocket to Venus has "Love seats." It is a perfect place to bring a date when not engaged in the royal game.

The atmosphere was great, the drinks were good, and the staff was very friendly. Not impressed with the food - ordered a burger medium rare, and it came out well done, wings were overcooked, and the crab soup was bland.

Fun little place with awesome food! We liked how we could seat ourselves and order through toast from our table. We got the pierogies to start and the onion crema for dipping was perfect. For our entrees we got the shrimp and grits and the a1 burger. Both were flavorful and very well balanced. For dessert we chose the fried PB & J, which was heavenly! All around a great experience!

This place has the best vegan fried chicken sandwiches in town. Prompt service, generous portions, reasonable prices, a great beer menu, and a covered patio all add to reasons why I bring out of town friends and relatives here first.

The atmosphere is much better than the food, unfortunately. It's not bad food, it *is* very meh. Like you get excited at the menu offerings (for me, it was the shrimp and grits), then the dish gets to your table and you're like, "...oh. Hm. Well, I guess." My kid didn't like his grilled cheese?? How do you mess that up? The mezcal Manhattan was pretty dang good, though! I think the prices were fair, the music was on point and lots of interesting/cool looking folks either working or dining. Oh, the staff is friendly and the way you order your food is interesting. Water is self serve. I might come back with some girlfriends or something, give it another chance. Maybe tonight was just an off night cause everything but the food was awesome.

My wife and I got takeout from here the other day for the first time. We split a sandwich and the poutine fries. Overall the food was good and the poutine fries were massive! Very glad that we opted to split those. I thought that they had done a great job with their take on classic poutine. My only feedback is that the interior of the restaurant seems to need better ventilation because it was very greasy and stinky smelling when I went in to pick up the food. Would definitely order from them again though!

Didn't know Hampton was a racist community. Didn't believe it until I went there. I'm African American/Caucasian, I was with a friend who was Mexican Latino. When we first went in it it got very silent with all Caucasian people looking at us, waited until we had to seat, and they went back to doing what they was doing. I noticed there was no black and brown people there. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for help to get started. The waiters and waitress were walking constantly past us ignoring us. We noticed someone there asked for help they went straight to the Caucasian family and totally ignored our present. Just because there's black old females there does it mean they are part of us it was very unease and unpleasant and unwelcome and your community. This will get reported with the community activist and city of Mayor on my side.

Simply put DELICIOUS!! We had been turned away at 3 other restaurants at 930pm on a Friday night and were referred to this spot. The lighting outside was bad and glad we took a chance because our food was AMAZING! The A1 Burger was truly special!

I have been going to Rocket to Venus for over ten years now and I can say I’ve never had a bad meal there. I’ve also never ventured too far out of burgers or bahn mi with some fried pickles or a pretzel. It’s a bar first and a restaurant second. Stick to the bar/bar adjacent food and you’re going to have a great meal. On top of that it’s got a good selection of beers and everything is priced right. I hope I’ll be coming here for decades to come.

Always such a lovely time coming here! It’s been nearly 10 years now since I’ve first stepped foot through their doors, and I’m still just as charmed. Kind, down to earth staff, DELICIOUS freakin’ food I mean the pirogies were to DIE for. Perfectly blended cocktails, with mocktails for the non-drinkers too. Could not recommend this place more to those looking for a little escape from reality in a cozy, comfy, upbeat space. Love y’all so much & appreciate you keeping it real for so long!

Fun, family meal. Loved the atmosphere and enjoyed the other patrons who broke out into song along with the jukebox. Another group started dancing in their area. Food was creative and delicious.
