This might be the BEST Italian restaurant in Baltimore. A small, intimate place, good for a romantic evening, and the food is amazing. Be careful with the espresso martini 😂

To be quiet honest, I did not enjoy the food here. Things were more on the bland side and nothing memorable. The desserts however, are very good. I’m not typically a sweets person, but because I had enough room for it, I definitely indulged. The hazelnut creme pot was my favorite thing.

Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. Ingredients were fresh and their house made fresh pasta was incredible. The atmosphere was quaint and the servers were friendly. I’m giving a 4 star rating only because the bartender messed up our cocktail orders multiple times. And he didn’t appear to be having a good day. But that didn’t keep us from enjoy our delicious meals.

The branzino is really good! It’s soft and juicy even though it’s a little too salty. I choose pistachio gelato as my dessert and it’s also amazing. The flower petal tastes like Japanese cookie Shiroi koibito without fillings. Definitely will comeback to try other dishes!

I was incredibly impressed with Sotto Sopra. Can't wait to return, possibly for opera night Service: top notch. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Couldn't have asked for a better waiter! Food: delicious! I had the gnocchi bolognese and carbonara. Carbonara was very good. Gnocchi was soo tasty. Deserts are also very good Atmosphere/location: street parking was surprisingly easy to find, and meters stop running after 6pm during the week. Ambiance in the restaurant was perfect. Tall ceilings and wonderfully decorated.

Beautiful interior. Very romantic and intimate. You can literally go here with family or on a date. The staff were excellent. Went on a Friday night for dinner around 845ish. We had a short wait time to be seated. The food was prepared quickly. I had the pumpkin ravioli with sausage and my date had the fettuccine belognose.

my friend and I came here to catch up before the holiday travel begins, and we had a great time. our food was delicious. i had the seafood squid ink pasta, and she had the same. lol. the drinks were fabulous—thanks to Derrick, our bartender. and the atmosphere was so cute and festive. now, the only thing we didn’t like were the desserts (the pecan gelato and bread pudding) but even with that slight bump in the road to a fabulous meal, i’m still giving them 5 stars ⭐️’s!

Elegant and well rounded restaurant in downtown Baltimore. Between the ambiance, staff, and food quality you are going to enjoy a higher end experience. The Italian steakhouse style menu offers great variety and whatever you choose comes out looking delicious. Be sure to ask your server for their recommendations as they are very knowledgeable and care about your experience. In order to find a complaint you’d have to really look.

This has become my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. Upscale vibes. The service is excellent, the decor is so romantic and the food is top tier. They seem to be getting busier as the year goes on so I suggest a reservation.

10/10. Our food, waiter, and the ambiance were all AMAZING. They were flexible and accommodating in combining dishes to create the most amazing, flavorful seafood dish. The highlight of our evening was our server - Lindsey…. She was attentive, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Will definitely return!

Took my family and friends to opera night Sept 10, 2023. I had the privilege of singing as a guest Soprano and really enjoyed the dinner and show. Opera night is once a month and features a 5 course dinner with singing at breaks. The corn risotto with a perfectly cooked scallop and crispy bacon 🥓 9/10 would definitely order again The Duck confit with mashed potatoes and brocolini 7/10 flavor and portion was great but some of my duck was dry and hard. The creme Brule 100000/10 my favorite 😍 so good, perfect velvety mouthfeel with warming notes of vanilla and caramel I rated the restaurant overall as a 4/5 stars for a few reasons: 1. The restaurant was PACKED for opera night and it was difficult to maneuver without bumping someone. 2. The 5 course meal will run you $85.00 Usd, but after a drink and the included 20% tip you're paying more like 130. Our table of 5 with 4 drinks came to over 700 dollars, so just be aware of the price tag. Overall- I love the food, love the atmosphere, the show a d staff were amazing and I can't wait to go again!

Food was under seasoned (lacked any salt). Risotto was fine. Loud pop sounds from some kind of sound system failure really brought together the lack luster dinner experience. The restaurant looks nice, decent wine selection, service was slow but fine. Wouldn’t dine here again.

Great ambiance and very creative, fresh food. From the bread to dessert and everything in between, this was an amazing experience. The pumpkin ravioli was quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever eaten. It sounded OK from the menu description, and our server highly recommended it, so I gave it a shot. Fresh, house made pumpkin ravioli with a pumpkin filling that wasn’t sweet, but had an earthy goodness about it. The light cream sauce served over it with a touch of sweetness, accented the perfectly cooked broken sausage which was incredibly fresh and tasty. It was a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and was one of, if not the best things I’ve ever eaten! If not for living around 1,000 miles away, I’d be back to enjoy this dish again tonight!

I came here once for a birthday celebration over a decade ago and was so blown away that it remained in my mind as an elegant, unique and amazing place to visit. The atmosphere is refined and inviting, the food creative, unique and delicious and the drinks are well crafted and beautifully balanced. I wish it hadn't taken me so long to come back, but even after all this time, their standard remains the same. I was equally impressed with their food and atmosphere as I was the first time I visited. I will definitely come back more frequently now, though.

Have been here twice and both times the food was incredible. Appreciate our server's recommendations as well when I asked about the pumpkin gnocchi v pumpkin rissotto. I had the pumpkin gnocci and would recommend. I would also recommend the pumpkin cake and pistachio creme brulee

This place is amazing. Flawless food. The veal pasta dish was perfectly executed. Pistachio tiramisu incredible. The cozy atmosphere was complimented by super friendly service. Great pre theatre dinner

Really enjoyed my visit here. The menu may be on the small side but it sure looks like they put a lot of care into each and every dish that they choose to put on. It's cozy, dark in a good way, but not too loud, pleasant atmosphere overall. Staff was especially nice, very communicative and visited the table very often. I had the sauteed calamari which was very good. Nice to have it in a different preparation, so used to having it fried with marinara sauce. This was a real nice gene. Hope to go back and try some other dishes soon
