My husband had the Peach Bourbon waffles and the Seafood Benedict. I had the French Toast Dream with a side of potatoes. Everything we tried was delicious!! The potatoes were seasoned perfectly that I didn’t want them to end 😅 they needed no ketchup or sauce. The French toast was perfectly balanced. It was a good portion. The bacon was perfectly crispy and with no burnt flavor. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere cozy. We loved this place and will definitely return!!! Also not pictured was the chili I ordered to go. She mentioned it and I had to try it. I haven’t tried it yet, but will be having it for lunch. Thank you to everyone at this establishment for the nice experience!

Drove up from DC to visit this spot. I wasn't disappointed..was greeted immediately by the young hostess Chase. He was friendly and inviting. Even though the place was full and would probably be an hour wait. He came back to ask if we didn't mind bar seating..yes we will take it. Upon sitting we were greeted by Omar who was handling the bar area..again another attentive and friendly young man. From the atmosphere down to the exceptional food and coffee. This place was perfect. I'm in love with this place already and will spread the word to all I know. But for me I'm sold. Did I add they make there own coffee? Yepl I bought some...all love here💓#SOB

Whoever gave poor reviews must be real snobs. We made an online reservation but showed up early and were seated immediately and given a window seat, which was really nice. The waitress was very sweet and the either owner or chef (or both) visited our table twice, once to bring little mini cookies while we waited for food and once to check on how everything was. I had the French toast dream (french toast with fresh berries and a raspberry chocolate drizzle). It was awesome. I got two sunny side up eggs with it and bacon. Another review said they burn the bacon, and that is untrue. They make crispy bacon, not burned. If you like flaccid bacon, maybe order sausage instead, but I loved it! My husband got the seafood Benny, an eggs Benedict served over crab cakes with shrimp, spinach, tomatoes, and a side of potatoes. I don't eat seafood, but it looked fantastic. He loved his meal more than I expected him to. If you're in the area, please go visit. It's delicious, clean, and welcoming.

Plating was beautifully done, potatoes and bacon were good. However, slow service and unflavorful eggs were cons. The waffle dream was good but too sweet in my opinion. Overall, a nice place to eat breakfast.

This is a really nice breakfast spot! the staff were ultra friendly and attentive. The skillet was absolutely awesome! The waffles were not my favorite, however. Fairly dry and a little hard to eat, so I won’t be ordering those when I go back, but I will absolutely go back! :)

The portions are large, the flavor isn’t overwhelmingly greasy but remains the perfect hangover cure. They serve large parties easily, and the iced coffee was perfectly brewed and not watery! Cutest hidden breakfast spot without a line 💯

Saturday Morning Cafe is a great dining experience! When visiting Baltimore MD this will be for sure a must have! The food was amazing! Pros -The food was seasoned to perfection -Specially our Breakfast Skillet and Shrimp and Grits came out sizzling on hot plates 🤤🍽️ which was so cool 😎. Absolutely loved it! -The Pancakes 🥞 on point 🎯 👍🏽👍🏽 -Staff was pleasant and professional -Enjoyed the ambiance, good music playlist, and it's a beautiful restaurant -I really like the location in "Little Italy" with convenient accessible parking options Cons -The only con is that I don't live closer to visit more often but we'll be back on our trips Baltimore MD 🏙️ that's for sure 💯 The Photos and Videos were captured on the Google Pixel 7 Pro

1st time visiting at their new location and tho it's been a few years since we've been I wanted to go for my Birthday Brunch and once again did not disappoint! We started our with their Strawberry Lemonade and omgeee! , was so delicious, then I had the Seafood Omelet and the crab meat was plentiful and blended so great with the Swiss cheese! And the side of potatoes were seasoned so good and hubby had the Baltimore Benedict and said it was delicious as well ! Him being a sous Chef he said the hollandaise sauce was immaculate as was the poached egg and on top of a tasty crab cake. We got 1 big Belgium Red Velvet waffle for our "dessert" and came out looking like a bday cake ! The portions are plentiful and so filling that we had had to take the rest to go. Trust the majority of reviews as this place has been around for many many years and is one of the best spots around B'more, staff is very friendly and welcoming and who doesn't like being able to order breakfast all day ( well the hours they are open)

Food was delicious, came out still sizzling!! Staff was really friendly and attentive. Now sure why there are so many picky reviews, we had absolutely no complaints. We got the French Toast Dream with a side of fried chicken and the fish and grits. Every was very well fried and seasoned. The French toast wasn't overly sweet and the fruit was nice and fresh!

First time eating here, I kept hearing about it for years. I had the Bourbon Peach Waffles & my Mom had the Chicken/Shrimp & Waffles, I believe. It was AMAZING! Our waitress was very kind, gave great suggestions & just all around nice person! Only small improvements... I would say, my tea was room temp instead of hot, however our waitress did go back, so they could bring another cup but it was still just barely warm unfortunately. Also, the bathroom didn't have any paper towels. Other than those 2 minor things, I would absolutely come back! The service & delicious food outweighed the other things! Great customer is hard to come by!

So…I wanted to take my husband to a great place for some good food to celebrate his birthday for brunch and I’m SO glad google helped me find Saturday Morning! We were a party of 5 and went on a Sunday morning (around 11a). There was not a wait to be seated. I’m big on customer service!! And everyone from the hostess, to the Manager and even the owner was very attentive and answered all of our questions with a genuine smile…we just felt so comfortable! And the food…THE food was nothing I’ve ever experienced! It was absolutely thee best! We will definitely be back for more!!

We had a great meal! The food was wonderful and very filling. Loved it and we would come again and recommend it highly. Just note, there was about a 10 minute gap between entrees arriving to the table so our party didn't eat at the same time for fear food would get cold before the rest arrived, service was somewhat slow - but the food really did make up for it. If you have ample time, great little spot! Pictured below is the Breakfast Skillet - delicious!

Saturday Morning Cafe did not disappoint!!! Our food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the seafood omelet. Please be prepared if you are paying by card instead of cash, there is an upcharge, however, the food was worth every penny. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Baltimore.

I got the shrimp and grits. It was delicious just a tad salty and my husband said his breakfast potatoes were very salty but everything else was very good. He got the breakfast burrito. The staff was very friendly but not very attentive. It took 15 min for 3 waters. We understand times are tough right now so we appreciate those who show up.

A great little black-owned cafe with delicious food. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and I had shrimp and grits. The flavor was awesome however my husband's chicken straps were a bit over cooked. Also, the service was a bit slow however; we had nothing but time so it was ok.

The food was delicious! Every dish was great with quality ingredients bursting with flavor. The service was horrible!!! I am not certain that I can even call it service except that my food was brought to the table. For me, this is a deal breaker because the service is part of the experience. Every contact with the waitress, including initial request for service was initiated by me. If I did not request, it was not offered. I had to practically shout to get the server's attention for basic items such as silverware. The table was never cleared, etc.

Came to this cafe while in town for a wedding and got way more than we expected. Portion sizes were big and the food was so good we had to stop back after checking out of our hotel. The seafood omelette and steak sizzler were 2 unique dishes I haven’t seen anywhere else. The chef even made Mickey Mouse pancakes and bacon for the kids. This place has an amazing family vibe.

Nothing fancy but if you’re looking for a great breakfast at a great price you can’t go wrong. The Saturday Morning Special provides enough food to get you through the day! A great find with great service and very welcoming. I highly recommended!

We went here for breakfast while visiting Baltimore. It was exceptional! I ordered the seafood Benedict, and I may come back to Baltimore just to have it again. My companion had a simple breakfast of eggs, toast, and fruit, and it was still elevated to a level of gourmet quality. Fresh ingredients, beautiful plates. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast!

I’ve been here several times and each time the quality of the food has declined. This recent visit I ordered a “sausage skillet” I received scramble eggs over bland grits, with under cooked onions, tomatoes, and green peppers, with one overly cooked sausage on top. I asked for cheddar cheese and was given a slice of American cheese cut up in a little black cup. NO THANK YOU! Pancakes were fluffy! Coffee was strong! Lemonade was delicious! The fish & grits was unremarkable. This is my first time sending food back and being told that I wouldn’t be refunded but I could get a replacement. I didn’t like the first round no way I’m gonna try anything else lol!

This place was recommended by my husband's co-worker...well i was disappointed 😞 the food wasn't good at all my son ordered pancakes and bacon his bacon was burnt we sent it back and it was still burnt I ordered grits with cheese and it was cold just told them i didn't want it. My husband asked for buttered toast he didn't get that then his food was to come with two pieces of fish as you can see it came with one(had to ask for the other one)..the portion of the food wasn't worth the price ..here are some pictures

I only gave 3 stars because the food was good and that’s where anything good ends. Food looked as good as pictured and was tasty except my husbands fried chicken on his eggs Benedict was dry. The table they originally seated us at had stuff on the floor and the table was sticky, the waitress motioned us to move to the next table and that one was just as bad. Our waitress was nice however at one point she began to have a coughing fit and after being able to stop she finally excused herself from our table until she stopped. I really wanted to like this place because I love supporting small businesses but I just couldn’t.

First time going to Saturday morning cafe and I must say I was impressed. My girlfriend and I were looking for a breakfast spot in the area and stumbled across this place. The owner recommended the fish and grits to me. This was probably one of the best fish and grits I ever had. I will definitely be going back to try the chicken and waffles. Go check them out. Go early!

Food absolutely was amazing. Get the smoke fried chicken Benedict with hollandaise sauce. Paired with the scrapple. Melt in your mouth deliciousness.

This is the second time my hubby and I have stopped by for brunch— around our wedding anniversary. (We come to Baltimore to “get away” from time to time). We’re always in search of new, independently owned/operated restaurants to try. If you are looking for a quaint, homestyle food spot- this is it. Cozy, unique- yet classic… overall, good food. Homemade/family vibe. We had chicken and waffles, biscuits/gravy. Always yummy. The chicken and waffles both had a nice flavor. Staff/owner pleasant, service was good. A nice leisurely spot to chill and relax w good food and attentive staff.

Today is my birthday. I just wanted to have a nice breakfast. At first service was great, we were greeted at the door and the wait was less then 5 mins. We ordered the Steak sizzler and shrimps and grits. We waited for about 20 mins before they told us they were out of steak this was really frustrating because we were waiting for a while before we were told this. Then we felt rushed to place another order & when I asked for my shrimp grits while we think what to get. People that came in behind us got their food and we still don't even have our grits. Truly terrible.
