I want to know the owner of this location and how to contact them. This is the second time I’ve been to this location where I’ve called previously to pick up my order and they told me the order would be ready in 20+ minutes. I went to the store to pick up the first time the order was never made and had to wait 30 minutes for the order to be completed. The second time the young lady placed my order at 9pm, I showed up at 9:30pm and the guy at the counter told me that the store was closed and the young lady should have never taken the order. He was very rude and disrespectful and couldn’t answer any of my questions when I asked why would she give me a ticket number and tell me to pick up in 25 minutes. The staff here need to be replaced with some professionals. I’ve been to hip hop fish and chicken all over baltimore city and this is by far the worse location I’ve ever been to.

Ordered chicken and fish combo had to go back because they forgot my coleslaw and condiments (tater sauce & honey mustard) just to get home and open my box to a catfish fillet undercooked pretty much soggy and a burnt extremely dry HALF of a chicken breast….TRASHED!!!! manager states to bring food back and he would make a fresh order but after already coming back for the items they forgot and the fish seriously killed my appetite and also my gas tank said WE CANT DO IT! So I just won’t be ordering for that particular one ever again a complete waste of time and money

I like the food but on that day the tenders was a little hard and the fries 🍟 were to crispy.

I ordered two perch and wings combos over the phone. I asked for the fish not to be fried 'hard'. In my experience with Hop Hop, this seems to be the default way of cooking fish. When I arrived to the restaurant, I noticed they had a mask rule sign on the door. 👍 The inside of the restaurant was clean and someone was bleaching the floor. All the employees wore masks covering their mouths and noses. 👍👍 Service was quick and courteous. Unfortunately, when I got home, I noticed my fish was fried to hell and back. I put it aside. Everything else in the box was good. The following day, I returned to the restaurant with my petrified fish. The man behind the counter was very accommodating and quickly replaced my fish. He also repeatedly offered me free things. I declined, but appreciated the offer. I will return to this location is the future.

Mac & cheese tastes like my grandmother made! I love how the chicken is served with white bread. Honey mustard is the best sauce! Friendly customer service too!!

The food was pretty good, but the atmosphere is HORRENDOUS. it looks like they're on their way out of business.

Wanted hip hop for two days so I finally took the time out of my day to go get some, welp what a damn disappoint! I usually only go to two locations Moravia or Harford road but N Caroline St was closer to my job. The food was hot but after taking the first bite I noticed that the fries had been refried and so was the chicken! Everything was old tasting, the seasoning didn’t even taste like crack seasoning, I could barley taste it. The fries were hard and the even drier than fries usually are.

The food and services are great but in the summer please find away to cool your customers if not yourself. I called hours early to pick up a large order. When I got there I had to wait about 20 more mins. waiting was fine it was just hot as he'll and I love heat lol. All customers Inside were saying it so it wasn't just me thinking it.

Hip Hop fish & chicken on Caroline St in the Church Square Shopping Center is a good little spot for some fast food. The chicken is just o.k. to me but I hear others love it & it's been nick named "Crack chicken". No disrespect to the chicken , the nick name just means that people love it and it's addictive. Now I personally love the cat fish. Don't get this mixed up with the catfish nuggets. They are NOT the same in taste. The catfish fillets (3 pc w/ Cole slaw & fries) is the real McCoy. Never was a catfish eater eventhough I love fish, but this catfish had me wanting it again & again. It's the best. I swear by it and would eagerly serve this catfish at any dinner or gathering that I host without trying to pass it off as my own. Try it , you might just love it. Happy eating !

This place is going to be a no for me. I saw a janky chicken and fish restaurant and thought oooo they must have some good soul food. I was terribly wrong. Prices are good but food is trash. I would not trust fish that comes out this restaurant. I felt a little nauseous while eating it. The batter was salty as hell. Fries were aight, chicken was so so and banana pudding def tasted like it came out a box. I threw away over half of the food. Food was hot when I arrived 20 minutes after which was nice.

Fast service, food was good but they don't listen when you say no seasoning.
