Only about 5 other families there but our meals took over 45 minutes to come out, we were seated at a booth with a huge rip (so many open booths that were much better) and food that came out had disgusting wilted lettuce. Waitress was nice but had headphones in the whole time. We were also pretty sure there was baby crying in the back kitchen.. I don’t rate poorly often, but management needs to fix some things here.

I would stay away from this place if I was you. Me and my wife walked in and after a few minutes somebody came up to us with no greeting and just said ‘how many’. They brought us to our table. We probably waited a good 10 minutes before the server come over to take our order. The girl didn’t write any of our order down so it came out wrong. It took at least 15 minutes from my wife’s order to come back correct and it took me probably more than a half an hour for me to get my order. This place was not busy at all… there were many open tables. I complain to the manager after we paid for our meal. I told her that was the worst service we have ever had at an IHOP, all she said was our cooks were backed up and offered no apology. The bathrooms were not in good shape as well. I don’t recommend going to this IHOP. You should look for something more locally owned you’ll have a more enjoyable experience.

First visit was good. Walk away satisfied after a good breakfast. The second was a disaster. They ran out of eggs and stop serving customers. Very unprofessional and will never come back again

This has been my worst IHOP experience in the last 10yrs. The seating furniture out there was torn and in distress. The personnel who was assigned to us was kind of least interested. A simple order was taking way too long. Simple things like the pancake syrups were not available at each table and had to be asked in specific. The sandwich bread was so hard that it was even difficult to bite through. It was impossible to eat through the sandwich with the bread and the filling at once. The waitress did not even ask if we were done with our order and simply got the check and placed it in the table which felt rude. Also we were not informed about the 15% gratuity being applied by default to our order (which explains the disinterest in how the service is). When asked about the gratuity to the personnel on the counter they were simply on a video call with headphones at the main counter. Gave reasons like gratuity is for holidays. It was a Sunday and I asked which holiday are you talking about, she wasn't aware of any holiday name and was asking on the video call if there was any. And then ended up saying it is father's day. Is this a IHOP policy? I will never ever return here.

This was not a great experience that I'd like to repeat. Nothing truly horrific, but the service was incredibly slow, taking nearly an hour for my food to come out and my friend's trailed 15 minutes later, our order was taken twice due to uncoordinated staff, the were missing key components for the dish I ordered but they "already put the order through" and seemed unwilling to change it to another menu item unless it was a simple side that didn't meet the value in price or similarity to the foods they were missing. The staff seemed shocked that I was waiting to eat my food until my friend's order arrived, but if I had started, I would have finished before anything else arrived. Half of my friend's order came out, and it took another few minutes for the sides to arrive. The saving grace is that the staff member that did end up serving us was kind, though they also seemed quite confused and overburdened with too many distractions throughout our visit. We paid, tipped, and left after half-heartedly picking at cold food.

I placed an order today around 1:40 PM, expecting it to be delivered by 2:50 PM. However, the delivery was late, and to add to the disappointment, the hash browns were burnt. I called to report the issue and requested a redelivery or refund. The first person I spoke to advised me to reorder on the Doordash app, even though I had originally ordered through the IHop app. Frustrated, I opted for a refund. Despite this, I didn't receive an email confirming the refund within an hour. When I called again, the "manager" answered, but he abruptly asked for my number and hung up after I provided it. Upon my immediate call back, someone else answered, and I could hear the manager yelling in the background, making the situation even more frustrating.

This was the slowest any restaurant experience I have ever had even though the restaurant was mostly empty. We were there for nearly 2 hours even though we were seated immediately. Our server never once came over to us without us having to flag him down. We ended up paying in cash because we watched another family try to leave for like 15 min but they couldn't because the waiter had their card. We never got many of the items we ordered but didn't dispute the check because we couldn't find the waiter and the toddler was DONE with being there.

My food was raw, i waited 15 minutes for my silver ware after my food arrive. My sons food arived 20 minutes after everyone elses. When i spoke with Tyrone the manager he laughed at us and shrugged his shoulders and said well there isnt anything i can do. The staff is rude not attentive i had to ask other waiters for help to get refills and condoments. My son has a food allergy that was ignored. This place was a waste time and almost cost my son his life. PLEASE DO ANYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

We were on a family visit to the harbor, aquarium, and a couple of Yankees vs Orioles games. We decided to stop in this IHOP to eat lunch after our aquarium visit. What a HUGE mistake... We walked in and the young kid that was the host didn't if say anything. He just looked at us with a "I wish I wasn't here" look on his face, picked up some menus and just started walking. I assumed he was seating us, so I followed him. He put the menus on the table and walked away. I was like....oooookaaaayyyy..... We sat there for about 15 minutes, then a waitress finally came over and took our drink orders. We told her we were ready to order as well. She took our order, but she couldn't quite get it right. She kept repeating it back to us, and it was wrong. After she left, my wife and I just watched as waiters and waitresses hustled back and forth pretty much yelling back and forth at each other throughout the restaurant. We could hear them yelling back and forth at each other in the back as well. It was the most unprofessionally run IHOP I have ever walked into in my life. The waitress finally brought our drinks out after about 20 minutes. She got the drink order wrong, and had to go back to fix it. We sat for another 45 minutes, watching and listening to the employees run around and yell. Finally, our food came out after about an hour. I asked for a refill from our waitress, she said okay, walked away, and never came back. Our meals had waffles and pancakes, but they never gave us syrup. Another waitress walked by. I said, excuse me, can I get some syrup. She completely ignored me. She came back, and I asked again. She said, "That's not my section". We waited another 10 minutes. Our waitress shows back up. I asked for syrup. She says, okay, and walks away. Comes back 5 minutes late with a syrup container that is a few drops from empty. Puts it on the table and walks away. I just looked at my wife and said, this is a joke. At that point, I got up, went looking for my waitress, approached her and asked for my bill. I paid for the meal and left no tip. For that IHOP to be in such a prime location at the Harbor, it is an extremely poorly managed restaurant. Would give it 0 stars if I could....

I have never been tempted to leave a review of a restaurant before, let alone a giant franchise, but my experience yesterday was such that I feel I should. One goes to IHOP for a quick, basic meal, not an over 2 hour experience. My party (7 of us, 2 of whom were children) were seated right away. It took a bit of time for the server to come over, but not a big deal. We ordered our food and then waited almost an hour and a half before some of it appeared. By the time everything had come out, it was well over two hours waiting. This despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty by the time we were served (I assume that they were prioritizing takeout). Two of the orders came out incorrect, including one of the kid's. A third was an under-cooked waffle. When we asked about some of the missing food, the server assured us it was ready and she just had to go get it. This clearly wasn't true as we then had to wait again for the rest to come out. Will never go back and will always just wait in line at Miss Shirley's a block away instead.

There’s like only 3 good employees (the hostess, and 2 servers). The manager clearly has no clue on how to do her job, doesn’t even deserve the job. Waited nearly half an hour for cold food and bad pancakes. They messed up my order and had to wait for them to redo it. At that point we were waiting over an hour for bad food. Ended up getting a refund for my missing food.

Service was mediocre. Nobody at front desk/register to greet you. Associates or security sitting around the front talking no uniform talking .I got a subpar greeting then seated. Booth had hole in the seat. Server was same person waiting on people at the front not a good idea. Order taken by young man took about 20 minutes. Food delivered to table no utensils or syrup. Guy totally fogot we needed them to eat trying to manage the desk and be server. Had to wait for 10 minutes for him to get the syrup. I had to summon him because he forgot again.I received 4 utensils for my 5 person party. My food arrived partially cold. Scrambled eggs were runny still slimy and undercooked, hash browns were cold and hard. When I let him know I had issues with my food. He told me he was doing me a favor by giving me shelled eggs. He put in another order, I could hear him speaking to someone in the kitchen regardingy order and it was very unprofessional , replacement egg came back hot and hard. Women bathroom was disgusting. I let the young lady/ security girl know she claimed she would let someone know. Mid service going back to take my child and the bathroom still hasn't been serviced. This is my second time coming to downtown location and it has not gotten better. You have employees in the cellphones not paying customer any attention. You have to physically go over to get their attention for item that are supposed to be present for dining. This location needs new management an associate training. Sadly I will not be returning to this location. Spent about $110 for Poor service and distasteful food. They have to do better.

Ordering takeout from here is like a gamble. You never know what they'll forget, and I promise you, they probably will miss something. Furthermore, the food is always cold. The three times I've ordered takeout from them, for a family feast no less, I've had issues. Dining inside isn't too bad of an experience however, you'll still likely be waiting for a while but at least the food (might be) is good. I've tried really hard to give these guys the benefit of the doubt but every time they fail me. Corporate really needs to put lenses on this location because this is absolutely unacceptable.

Went here with my family and was not satisfied. All of the food came out at different times. Some members of my family were done eating by the time others got their food. When the food did arrive it was cold and some things were missing, i.e. ranch missing from the chicken bacon ranch dish. Would not recommend going to this IHOP if you want a hot and completely meal in a timely manner

The food was actually better than I expected. The food was cooked properly to order, and was very fresh and delicious. Once our entire party was present, service was fairly quick. The food came out at a reasonable time. Overall I think they did a great job.

The worst experience at this IHOP location. Since the moment we entered the restaurant, we could already tell the workers there hate their jobs, as no one was smiling whatsoever. The waitress took our order and, oh boy, it took 25 minutes (!!!) to wait for our food to be ready, when 70% of the restaurant was empty. (It was Thursday 12 pm). I finished my coffee before the food was there and the waitress didn’t even ask if I want a refill. Anyways, my Avocado toast that took 25 minutes to make had absolutely unripe tiny pieces of avocado and a greasy hard to chew toast. My partner had protein pancakes (they were good) and some veggie patties with eggs. Paid 40$ in total. Filtered coffee cost 4$ without a refill. An absolute waste of money and time. Would not ever recommend this location to anyone.

My husband and I came to this location after enjoying ourselves at the aquarium across the street. We waited 10+ minutes for someone to even acknowledge us to be seated. Once we were seated, we were never even greeted. Our server never introduced themselves. Never took a drink order. Nothing. We watched other customers seated after us, served before us in different sections. We packed up and went to a different location. Never again.

The food is good but the service is very bad, zero attention, more than 30 minutes to take the order, lack of staff and the one who is unfriendly

My husband and I took the kids for breakfast and we waited to be seated for 10 minutes without even have someone tell us that someone would be right with us. Once seated the young lady told us that she'd be back to take our drink order. We waited for another 20 minutes before I called another waitress to see if she could find our server and she said sure. Meanwhile, other families were seated after we were and had already had there drinks! We waited another 10-15 minutes before we decided we were leaving. I can't even review the food as we didn't even get that far. They get one star based on service alone and I wish I could score it as a 0 as there was none! The atmosphere only gets a 2 because it looked as if no one else was receiving bad service and were enjoying their food!

The service was prompt, the food was delicious. Brunch time it wasn't crowded. Pleasantly surprised, for the location.

Your delivery presentation is garbage. Ordered delivery from your store for our neighbor who doesn’t have family to share the holiday with. I ordered the turkey dinner. The portions were grossly underwhelming, food not secure (cups with lids?), container busted with mashed potatoes leaking out. This shouldn't even be possible even with a less than delicate delivery driver. I hope you're proud of the quality of product you put out in the world, I definitely won't be giving you another opportunity to disappoint this customer.

The worst dining experience of my adult life. Sat at a bench with DESTROYED seats. Bathroom wasn't much better. Toilet seat was falling off and mirror was just gone. Had to order TWICE because it never came out. Complimentary fruit was offered for the wait, though. Vulgar music was blasting from the kitchen. Food finally arrived. Poached eggs were cooked all the way through, toast was dry and stale, hashbrowns tasted like a burnt pan. Couldn't eat it. Was explaining the situation to the manager and she said, "I got it.", and walked away when I was still talking. Insane. Didn't eat, didn't pay, just left. A bad experience before visiting the aquarium, that's for sure.

Being that I work in the industry, I typically don’t leave negative reviews online. I take them to the source. However, no one is answering the phone so I feel I have no choice. I ordered an omelette with peppers/onions and spinach. I received an omelette with mushrooms - which im allergic to. I also ordered two sides of fruit. I added a photo of the amount received. I previously received fruit cups that were twice as full. And in fairness, the second fruit cup did have more fruit in it, but I picked at it before I could take a comparison pic. Unfortunately, I couldn’t check my order prior to receiving it as I had it delivered this time. And being that no one is answering the phone, for me to be able to reconcile my order, it looks like im going to have to take an L. The pancakes that came with my omelette were as expected though. So at least it wasn’t a total loss.

We ordered chicken tenders, they came out raw, after taking about half hour to get to our table. The bathrooms had no paper towels. They charged a service fee?, what the hell is a service fee at IHOP? The waitress was doing everything she could to make things better.

The most disgusting staff I’ve ever have met. We entered me and my mom and we wanted to use restroom first before sitting to order, they did not allow us and they treated us bad, We did not want even to sit there anymore or order anything from there. From my experience, the manager needs to kick those employees out and hire new welcoming people. This is the most disgusting and unethical behavior that can come from an employee to a costumer!
