This was a wonderful experience to do with friends and family. Set in a historic building, the conservatory has plants and different climates to walk, read and take pictures with. The holiday poinsettia display is beautiful.

Pay what you can, suggested $5. Beautiful conservatory from the 1880's. The staff were very helpful and pointed out the fragrances of some really unique orchids! Worth dropping by if you're in the area for the zoo, or just in the area!

Christmas Light at druid Hill Park is one of the mesmerizing place to visit during Christmas Month. A must go place. Tickets can be booked online drive through and walking available with your furry friends 😺. We enjoyed visiting this place.

I have always loved Druid Hill Park 🏞️ since I was a little girl. It's a beautiful place to go for picnics, cookouts and other πŸ₯‚ celebrations . AFRAM has been there for the last few years and of course you have the Baltimore Zoo. The photos are from this year's AFRAM.

I really enjoyed this park and will definitely be back. There’s ample parking and the terrain is excellent for hiking, biking and walking. I suggest using the trail app so that you stay on the path.

This a short visit of many different types of vegetation. There is a number you can call during your visit and if you press the number in front of something, it will give information on that plant. The cactus room had so many varieties of cacti! Cute place for an hour or so visit with a donation as your entry.

Druid Hill Park is probably 10 minutes away from my house me and my son goes there to throw the football and we also go there for long walks every time I go to druid Hill Park there's always five or six cookouts they have a lot of family reunions and a lot of parties me and my son walked around and wanted to go swimming they have a large pool that's almost like a water park I'm definitely going to be spending a lot of time there next summer. Every year they have the Stone soul picnic where celebrities come and host a free concert we had so much fun listening to Rick Ross and a plethora of other performers they have a lot of vendors selling food and drinks it's definitely a vibe so whatever you have time 30 minutes an hour take a stroll through druid Hill Park take your dog take your kids take your friends they have everything for everybody.

Loved walking in the park. The park and paths are very well maintained. Peaceful atmosphere and enough historical markers throughout. Especially liked the conservatory on the property. I liked that you could listen to audio information on many of the plants.

Love love love this hidden gem in Baltimore! The historic Rawlings conservatory hosts multiple greenhouses of varying temperatures and characteristics. The staff was lovely, the koi pond and waterfall was beautiful, and they had gorgeous annuals on sale for $4 so I took home 5 plants for my starter garden! 10/10 recommended! Pro tip, bring quarters to get fish food. And bring a donation of at least 5 dollars for entry. They said its not required, but the guide waited for us to put in the money before we entered the greenhouses.

Conservatory with a nice sampling of plants and trees. It's all inside so we went on a dreary rainy day and enjoyed the visit. Figure about two hours should do it. BTW it's by voluntary donation. Typical $5 a head. Zoo in the park closed at 4, So on a nice day go early and do both.

My son Aaron died in 2018 and we have a Tree planted in a grove on the Christmas Light Pathway....the trees planted along with other families who have lost a loved one to gun violence in Baltimore. As you drive, bike or walk thru this Holiday, be mindful of the Grove of trees , lit up under the lights....and say a pray for us...if you pray

Been coming to this park since infancy so it feels like another wonderful home to me. I love the Zoo , the Mansion House, the pool and the walking trails. I always discover new historical facts here. Four generations of my family have such fond memories made here at Druid Hill Park. Absolutely love this place!!!

I love Druid Hill Park! It's got everything our family loves to do. Trails for walking, biking, and running. A beautiful conservatory full of plants and flowers. A delightful zoo with all kinds of animals. Pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, pavilions to rent, ball fields, Safety City, disc golf, bird watching, a Farmer's market, and so much more I'm probably forgetting. There's something here for everyone.

One of the great parks in Baltimore, just beautiful with lots to do. Hike, bike, frisbee, basketball, or just hang out. The US CycloCross event was also super cool to see and the Zoo is right there as well.

Druid Hill Park is so massive, it's hard to believe that you can fit so much green space into the inner city. Because of its sheer size there's just about something for everyone. Baseball fields, football fields, playground equipment a-plenty. There's just so much to see and do and explore and Druid Hill Park. It's got something for everyone.

This place is vast and there stuff to explore here for everyone. The back side of the park has some nice trails that snake along the JFX that belie the urban experience. Clean, safe and well kept. Totally underrated park of the city.

I haven't been back there since I was a little girl and now I remembered why. It's a great place to visit on a lazy Sunday afternoon. There are some wonderful plants there from several different regions. The staff were very kind, helpful, and informative. The kids will enjoy it. I really wish they could expand on this place, I was bored after 30 minutes because it's so small.

Beautiful gardens. Highly recommend a trip here. It's a relatively quick visit, you can thoroughly see the whole place in about 30 minutes, 1hr if you really want to take a lot of time to look at all the plants. My favorite was the Ponderosa Lemon.

I hadn't been a journal park since 2008. Especially for a beautiful event like the afram. It was such a joy to see the children playing so carefree with no worries. Families out together enjoying each other's time and love. Communities joining together as one like it was when I was growing up. I pray to God that we can one day get that bachelor in our city Baltimore is a beautiful place with multi-talented individuals. If we can only get our people back to carrying, loving & supporting not just each other but our communities. We need our leaders to step up and lead the way it used to be. It was a pleasure and a wonderful joy to be a part of a magnificent event. Not to mention meeting new friends. I grew up right around the corner from Druid Hill Park. It is still one of the most beautiful places here in Baltimore City, To be with your family and friends. Have special events and occasions of celebration. πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž

  • 4/5 Candace L. 3 years ago on Google
The construction cuts off the walking path in 2 places and there's a serious need for some shade trees along the path approaching Dru Hill Drive, yet it still manages to be a soothing walk. I only passed 1 exercise spot with pull-up bars and a covered floor for push-ups, but I heard there are more, which is pretty great for outdoor exercise if you don't just wanna run.
