I do not recommend it. it's very dangerous. there are too many homeless outside. I did not feel safe, that day there were fights around the site. just stay away for your safety.

I've been coming to this market for many years. Always loved the food I was blown away by the renovations it looks much nicer and cleaner inside now. Still surrounded by drug addicts and dealers trying to sell you poison. But if you can get past that for some delicious food inside

Service was fast and prices were decent. Expected to be "wowed" by the cakes but just wasn't. They were good but just "regular" and I ordered several to get the full perspective. Lemon cake was the best, followed by red velvet and chocolate. I didn't care for the tiramisu at all and hated the Italian cake even more. My friend and I each took one bite only and then threw it away. As for the red velvet and chocolate, had the cakes been more moist, they could have worked. Pecan bar was pretty good! Overall, I'd give them another shot. I'd just order something different next time.

30Aug.2023 It was a nice first time visit. I also seen the original Lexington Market next door. Either way the ladies at the smoothie bar downstairs new manners and not look so unpleasant. Real consumer buzz kill. Fresh meat market and a good deal of other shops up and down stairs. In which can be reached by stairs with built in bleaches on each side and the elevators. This place is smaller than Redding Market in Pennsylvania. It is also still under renovation. Wednesday’s this place closes at 5pm and police patrol will gladly, constantly remind you this place closes at 5pm.

Lexington Market offers a wide variety of food vendors to choose from. Paid parking garage next door.

Looks like this place is being renovated and a lot of stores inside are not operating. The crab cake platter(one crab cake + 2 small sides ~$32) and the steamed sea food ( you pick 3 seafood ~$26$ from the front stores taste better than I expected. The crab cake is made with a lot of real crab meat. The blue crabs are meaty and a lot of fat.

Went to Lexington Market to check on the construction progress- to discover that not any store had moved into the new digs. Search around to find that FAIDELY SEAFOOD stayed (for now) in their same location. Went there & ordered the CATFISH PLATTER (1 piece of catfish) & a regular LUMP CRABCAKE. I thought the 2 side dishes were better than the main meal. It was a bit pricey for the little amount of meal they give you. The food was OK- but their "famous" crab cake wasn't all that. A little disappointed.

The whole market has been revamped and is now a 2 story building. There was a certain charm about the old building, albeit a bit on the nostalgic side. The new building is much more bright and cheery inside. My go to place is the Berger cookies bakery. I have been going there for decades and always take some cookies to friends and family. Faidley's is right next door and although not in the same building anymore, it has great soft shell crab sandwiches and crabcakes!

Loved this place as a kid, but there's almost no fresh produce or vegan food in the whole market. I CAN'T WAIT for the new building to open up, so I can go grocery shopping, get a vegan snack on the way home, and upgrade my rating to a 5!

Great food but a little sketchy neighborhood. Okey in the daytime. Just I wouldn't come at night and go with a friend.

The food options were amazing and everything looked amazing. Finally settled on some oxtail white rice collards and Mac and cheese.... omgosh it was AMAZING!! Flavorful and savory! This spot was worth the $29 plate I won't lie! I didn't catch their name but they are across from the Bobba tea spot.

We had visited the old location many years ago and enjoyed the atmosphere. This new location is great as a food hall but doesn’t have the local, gritty charm of the old market. Bathrooms were clean. Water bottle refill station by bathrooms. It was very busy at lunch with lines for many food stalls. Could use some more seating because people seemed to be spending a long time lingering at tables after they ate. We ate from 4 different food stalls (will review each separately) and enjoyed what we tried.

My visit here to Lexington Market was great! We loved that there were so many options for a variety of different items, cooked foods, fresh food, beverages and more. I can't wait to visit again. Also I'll like to add that there was plenty of seating, security, and it was a very clean safe environment. Photos and Videos captured on a Google Pixel 7 Pro

Amazing refreshed market, missing Pollack Johnnys and the Berger Bakery bit great new replacements. Lots of place to sit and dozens of food choices, local, international, breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert, even a beer here or there. Faidley’s is across the street but rumored to be coming back.

Haven't been here in years. It's definitely changed for the better in regards to renovations and drug infestations that used to surround the market. They have multiple security officers on the premises. The only thing though, the merchants aren't the same. The original ones were more authentic. The ones there now are the kind you would find in a food court at the mall.

Went there for the first time recently. It was bustling with people but not noisy. So many shops to explore. Loved the cleanliness. Enough space to sit and eat or just hang around with friends. Love the staircase. Looked like some new stores will be there soon. Definitely will go there again. Had food from 3 different places. Good quality and quantity.

I finally got to visit the market. We hadn't been there in almost 20 years. It is so different and WAY smaller than I remember. There were so many stores before. Now it's just one big room. We were disappointed. I was really excited to visit again. But we did get chicken livers, chicken wing and gizzards. They were good!!

Market was hectic and a little bit drab, but wow are the cookies amazing at Berger’s Bakery. This is a Baltimore special that you just shouldn’t miss!

If people don’t realize HOW iconic Lexington Market is I suggest a visit. The restoration is coming along well and it’s a much deserved relief for the Landmark. We walked in one entrance and out the other and was greeted with Law Enforcement in the front, inside the Market, and outside the back near the Metro and we couldn’t have felt anymore safe and had there been an emergency, we would have known who/what/where without hesitation. Thank you to the Law Enforcement Officers in Baltimore who aren’t there for us to ask directions but would GLADY point you on your way in the RIGHT direction, to those who are apart of the structural update, and to Baltimoreans who meet you with a smile and say hello! Charm City! 🧡🇺🇸 JVATALARO

This new location is very spacious, modern, and fun! We already had crab cakes from Faidley’s before walking through this market, but everything they had smelled/looked delicious! I can’t wait to visit again and venture around all the choices. I especially loved how they turned the staircase into a sitting area.

Okay it was a lil good but I love my ppl and it didn't bother me. Lexington market is a market where they have food, clothes, music in the heart downtown Maryland. This was a great experience. The food was 💥🔥 this came from a African restaurant inside the Lexington market.

Such a huge improvement in the new space. Bright, airy with lots of great food offerings. I especially like the grand stair which double up as riser seating. Can't wait for the outdoor seating area to be operational and all the vendors up and running.

It was nice but still not completed so I can see where it will be much better once everything is done.

If you visit Lexington Market, you must stop by Trinaca on the pace st side. They have the best pizza, homemade fries and sandwiches. The customer service is amazing.
