Great location with outdoor seating. They was busy when we arrived so we were placed on the waiting list. I appreciate, that we were quickly notified by a text message when our table was ready. We came here for Brunch and the food was okay. We would like to see more food selections on the menu, like Pork Bacon/ Sausages, Toast, Square shaped Waffles, Home Fries, Bowl of Grits and add many more options to choose from. The outdoor seating atmosphere was clean and presentable and the staff was helpful and friendly. The prices was reasonable. They offer validated parking in the near by parking garage.

This place may have been better if we didn’t wait an hour and a half to be seated (not their fault that they’re popular). The mimosas were good and fried green tomatoes were bland but a good texture. The gravy train southern skillet would’ve been amazing if the chicken wasn’t cold and dry. All of the components, separately, were good but because there were so many chicken strips it was what stood out most about the dish. It had potential.

Fortunately I was able to order take out being that it was a bit packed, looking like a long wait as well. Their Fried Green tomatoes (featured in Southern Living magazine) were incredibly delicious. Their Maryland Crab Soup(Featured on the food network Diner Drive Ins & Dives T.V. show) was impeccably delicious as well. Their Strawberry Lemonade was also very refreshing, tart and tasty. I tried their Spring into Summer Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, feta etc and it was unique and filling. My kids enjoyed their strawberry pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes.Their staff were extremely tentative, hospitable and kind. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon! Keep up the great work and thank you!

Food was really good! I went on a Wednesday. I was seated right away with no wait time. The food was really good! I loved the shrimp and grits and the pancakes! The hot spicy chicken deviled eggs were also very good! I would definitely eat here again!

This is an award winning restaurant. It was quite busy when we went. It is advisable to make a reservation. We had been there for brunch and the food was amazing! We loved everything that we ordered except the fried chicken which seemed a little dry. They have outdoor seating as well and on the walls they have all the awards won and famous people who visited the place. The guest service is great! Everyone is super friendly and helpful.

The food was outstanding. We went the early so the wait wasn't bad, I think we waited for 10 min. Definitely a pricey place but worth the money. Our waitress Karina was really nice. We had the Chicken and green cheddar waffles, The rice crispy cheesecake stuffed French toast and the kids had the kids box which was a lot and super delicious. Definitely recommend!

Might be busy, but it's worth the wait. The food is absolutely delicious. Lots of comfort items with unique twists, like a fried chicken and biscuit and gravy omelet. Perfect place for brunch with Bloody Mary's and Orange Crushes. Pricier than your typical diner style restaurant.

Soooo good. Shrimp & Grits plus a short stack. Buffalo shrimp deviled eggs, hot cocoa, that's what was on our table. What a treat. Would recommend and would return. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes but the time passed quickly. I'd say brunch for 3 was worth the sticker shock.

We usually have to budget on at least 1 splurge meal when we travel. Crab cakes are usually my splurge meal, but Miss Shirley's required my breakfast-loving self to budget for 2 splurge meals. One of my favorite breakfast spots EVER. Quality food that's prepared very well. Our server, Tory, was great and very friendly. Nice atmosphere. The Playoff Pancakes were so tasty.

This was truly a great experience for brunch. I went alone, and everyone had a 45-minute wait time. It was a nice day out, so that helped make the time go by. When I was seated, I got a seat on the patio, I would have rather sat inside, but I was seated nonetheless. I ordered my food and drinks at the same time. They came out shortly after and I really enjoyed my meal. I will definitely be back to try more off the menu.

Amazing food! Everything has so much flavor, even the butter on my waffle was like pepper infused?! It was amazing! I highly highly recommend the chicken and waffles. Amazing sauce on top of the chicken and perfect waffles. We came here after being at the aquarium all day and it was the perfect meal to end our perfect day!

I came here twice for breakfast during my stay in Baltimore this past weekend. The service and food here is absolutely outstanding. The staff is extremely warm, friendly and attentive. They make sure to ask all customers if they have any food allergies before they take their orders. The establishment is immaculately clean and the staff makes sure they properly wipe down the tables as soon as a customer leaves. Another plus is that they serve alcohol at 8:am. 😉 Since this place gets busy rather quick (especially on weekends) it is probably best to go as early as possible in order to get a table. One thing I did find odd is that they don't accept cash payment, only credit card. Overall, this is one of those establishments that makes me wish that they would expand to other locations like NY and NJ. I will definitely stop in again the next time I vacation in the Baltimore area.

Thoroughly spectacular. I enjoyed a breakfast meal at this fabulous establishment while I was in town for a business trip and my god I have to say it’s probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my entire life. I got the Cuban and I had thought the BBQ might be too much but it was JUST what the sandwich needed! Bursting with flavor and gigantic portions. I took more than half of the sandwich with me to go. The strawberry lemonade is the perfect mix of both as well - not too sweet or tart! 100% will return to this lovely place if I’m ever back in town! Great service by Gerald, too!

Best brunch in the area, hand down. We went two days in a row so we could taste more items on the menu. The pimento biscuits are right on the money. Coconut cream stuffed french toast was unbelievable. It was huge and so delicious. The shrimp and grits with fried green tomatoes are worth a revisit for sure. I wish this place was in my area.

Fantastic Louisiana and southern inspired brunch and breakfast place. The biscuits and gravy omelette is great, so is the upside down pineapple pancake. Service is awesome, our server Brandon recommended some off the menu items which were spectacular. This breakfast place is worth a drive. The location on the waterfront is nice. Moderate wait to sit, and generous portions.

We ordered the Reindeer Tracks Pancakes (Dec specials), Chicken N Waffles and Amy’s Bayou Omelet along with hot chocolate. We all loved them all! The food was fresh and warm, flavorful and the portion sizes were so large that we had leftovers to take out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The place was cozy and clean. Definitely recommend the place

We had a party of 12. The staff at the E. Pratt St. location of Miss Shirley's seated us in a reasonable time even though the place was quite busy. The ambiance was very nice, it was essentially all windows. Since this branch of Miss Shirley's is in a particularly scenic part of Baltimore, the choice of making this place all windows works well as long as there's not a snowstorm or a heavy rain. Our server, Serita, was pleasant and efficient. The food, as is typical for Miss Shirley's, was amazing. I had turkey chile, My wife had gingerbread cookie cheesecake stuffed French toast. Miss Shirley had this on a monthly special. My daughter, the vegetarian, had a Baltimore Bowl without meat. Everyone else had pancakes or waffles. There's a multi level parking structure across the street. Parking is expensive in the inner harbor area. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

I am so glad that I tried this restaurant! I was concerned about the 45 minute wait time but it was worth it. I got the gravy train skillet, the layers of flavor were unreal. The chicken was cooked perfect, the collared greens were seasoned well, the grits were amazing and the biscuit and gravy tasted awesome. My server was good, she checked on us often. She also went out of her way to make the drink I wanted... I appreciate that kind of service.

We had a late breakfast here. What an amazing place!!! If you don't mind the extra calories, have an extra pancake. The omelette was amazing, the hash browns were delicious (hybrid of typical one piece hash and home fries), and the pancakes were out of this world! I also liked that they had a freshly squeezed juice unlike other places.

Tasty! More food than we needed. Service was great. They definitely want to get you in and out. We went Sunday, early morning. As we walked out the restaurant, the crowd was insane! I could only imagine how long people wait to eat here. Table for two was a walk in and no wait. Larger tables will definitely be a wait. Go early!

This was a great experience overall. This was in a very convenient location right near our hotel. This is a popular place so plan accordingly with a small wait (about 20 minutes for us). The staff were very friendly and had the perfect amount of stops at the table. We also had a manager/supervisor stop by and check on us. The food was great as well. I had the breakfast tacos, which was a great portion. My wife had the coconut creme stuffed French toast. She did say they tasted great but were a bit sweet. The portion size for that is BIG, so plan to share! Overall I would recommend a stop if you have time!

I gotta say...I came here for the first time in 2014 on a road trip with my girls. We found this place by accident. The food was so good that I never forgot it! So needless to say, when I decided to take a road trip back to B-more, Miss Shirley's was on the top of my list of places to dine. I came to visit some good friends who don't live too far from this place but they never dined here. At the end of our dining experience, they kept thanking me for introducing them to this place... that's how good everything was!!!!

The food was just mediocre I ordered the cubano sandwich and the meat inside was super salty the hash browns were pretty crunchy on outside but soft and tasty. The egg scramble was terrible. You can hardly see any eggs, just a plate full of steamed vegetables. The Sammy sandwich was tasty and filling. The gluten-free pancake did not taste good at all and was dry and tasteless. The orange crush was the highlight it just tasted like orange juice and was decorated nicely. It hardly had any alcohol. All in all, we felt that the food was just mediocre. We don't know why this restaurant was rated so high when the food was not tasty at all.

I came here for brunch and had some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! We ordered the cinnamon delight, fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and hot honey fried deviled eggs. I also had the strawberry lemonade. Everything was so delicious, I will definitely be back when I’m in the area! Definitely try the pancakes if you come here! The customer service is also great, our waiter was very friendly and accommodating

Wait time was 90 minutes but wasn't an issue as there is plenty to do in the area while waiting. Our server I believe her name is Maira was very friendly and attentive. The shirleys crush cocktail was delicious. South of the Border Omelette was lacking flavor but wasn't bad. The house made everything biscuit was very good as well. Overall a pretty good experience.

I had a great experience at Miss Shirley's restaurant. I was placed on a waiting list due to a hour and a half wait. I was able to continue my day since they sent a text message once the table would become available. I ordered the challah French toast with fresh strawberries, bananas and house whipped cream. Everything was amazing. Jonathan was a phenomenal server. He was attentive and respectful. I also liked that they had different choices of meat (turkey sausage and chicken sausage) both made locally.

Genuinely had the best breakfast of my life here, it was so good! We decided to try Miss Shirley’s after it was recommended by someone else and I’m so glad we decided to stop! It definitely seems like a popular place so I would suggest going during non peak times or making a reservation if possible!

First thing server asked is if we had any food allergies.spiciness. Server Troy, was so delightful! We had: HOT HONEY FRIED CHICKEN DEVILED EGGS GET YOUR GRITS ON GRAVY TRAIN SOUTHERN SKILLET All are excellent but my favorite was the deviled eggs, they are crazy delicious. My only complaint is that tables are squeezed pretty close together so I recommend going at a time when it's not super busy. We loved it. I wish there was a location out our way!

The food looked good. I have to admit it was quite bland. I had the Southwestern Omelet and fried green tomatoes. It was a nice place though. My friend's enjoyed their's. French toast and blackened shrimp with grits. I would go back, I just won't order the same thing. Maria our waitress was really nice.
