A hidden gem in the heart of the city surrounded by beautiful houses. This privately owned and the maintained park is opened to the public from sunrise to sunset. The best time to come is in the spring (late April) when the tulips are in full bloom. There is plenty of parking and a beautiful place to enjoy a picnic with the family.

Very pretty gardens. Would be great to see more native plant species.

Beautiful open park with several clusters of tulips and some azaleas. By taking our time, it took about 1.5hrs. Despite it being a Saturday, it wasn't very crowded. Big open areas that are great for bringing a picnic, throwing the Frisbee, taking in the sun. Tons of free, side street parking in the surrounding residential area.

One of my favorite places in the city. The tulips weren't in full bloom on my most recent visit, but it was still a sight to see. Definitely would recommend for an intimate picnic or mid day reading.

This place is beautiful, even though we missed the tulip blooms. Conveniently located, we had an easy time parking on the street and walking through the park, taking photos. We saw several couples having cute picnics. My only complaint was that someone had littered confetti, probably for some graduation photo or something. Places like this only remain nice if we keep them nice, please do not leave trash behind.

Beautiful private park within a lovely neighborhood of Baltimore. We enjoyed the expansive garden beds full of azaleas at peak bloom. The tulip plantings were exceptional even though it was just past the peak of blooming. There were many Dogwood trees blooming in the background borders.

Went here for the first time this weekend and I cannot recommend this place enough. The tulips are gorgeous and the overall atmosphere is truly wonderful. It's a great spot for families. I was pleasantly surprised to see nobody picking the flowers. I can't believe that I've been living so close to this place for two years and haven't been until now. I'll definitely be back!

Array of colorful tulips and azaleas blooming right now. A dog friendly, small and beautiful picnic spot in spring. It is within a community and the parking is along the street. There are a few benches in the park.

I absolutely loved these gardens. It's in a beautiful area that's definitely worth a visit. I expected this place to be an actual park with an admissions desk and all that. But, it's actually an open park where anyone can walk, which is a nice benefit! To my surprise, there were not many people walking around here at all -- in fact, it was really empty and quiet. That was another nice benefit! Just the sound of the light breeze, birds, and leaves. Amazing place to relax in!

Beautiful private park suitable for photo ops and portraits. A lovely place to stroll, sit in the sun (or shade), play, read,... Beautiful tulips and azaleas and some exotic firs. A great place to visit on a pretty MD spring day!

Sherwood gardens is one of the best public spaces in baltimore. Good for a picnic, or quiet family outing. Also a great spot for photo shoots. It can get crowded on nice days especially when the tulips are in bloom. (Usually on late April)

The Tulip Blooms that occur around the last week of April at Sherwood Gardens are my favorite. This park is a great place for picnics and is also very clean. The surrounding neighborhood is also peaceful.

Like a postcard fairyland of flowers, you see people busy taking pictures of flowers or relax enjoying a day in the garden. Park on the road side, the flowers are inviting right there, you step into the wide open garden, no gate no fence

An annual tradition! We not only love the blooms but the bulb dig in May so we can plant them in our own home. Dropped one star for not having a bathroom and being near nothing else.
