We tried the following items. - Spicy Chicken Burger - Classic Chicken Burger - Classic Chicken Rice - Onion Rings All of them looked good.... But, Spicy chicken burger was okay, that's it, it's just okay. No spice whatsoever. Classic chicken burger was horrible according to my friend. Left a horrible after taste. Onion rings were "Meh". The batter had no taste at all. It was just fried flour. Not worth the price at all. The rice was good. It was well spiced. Good portion size, and reasonable price comparing to other franchises in Kandy. Overall my experience was not good.

So we finally have a opponent for KFC.. but is it a worthy one? I had my high expectations for the cajun styled fried chicken.. but im dissapointed. The potion sizes ..geeez.. so small for what you paying for. The drumstick size is so small.. compare the size with my thumb. Taste is ok. however the waiting time is long even with less diners. I enjoyed the sundaes which put a smile to my face after the dissapointment

Value for money: NO [yet to try the signature dish] After the initial opening this place was pretty crowded. Now it's not. Which is a plus. We had spicy burgers. They were not juicy burgers since they are not specialised in it I guess. It's the same type of burger you get at burger king or KFC but both those places are better if you are comparing the burger. We are yet to try the signature dish. Probably next week. I think burger is not enough to judge the place completely. Staff was super duper friendly. 5 stars for the service. Place was clean and maintained properly unlike most places in Kandy. Parking is available if the place is full you can always use the Municipal council sport complex car park for LKR 130 for an hour. Place is kid friendly. There's a BR stall inside. Couldn't check the washrooms. Overall good experience wish the burger was bit more tasty.

Popeyes in Odel Mall Kandy offers the best chicken dishes, surpassing KFC in taste. The staff is helpful, and the restaurant maintains a clean, welcoming atmosphere. However, I had an uncomfortable experience when trying to pay using Lanka QR, as they initially claimed to offer the option but later denied it. Despite this flaw, the overall dining experience was positive, with their delicious chicken cuisine being the standout feature.

I meeaaannn, the food is okay-ish but I've never felt like I got my money's worth all three times I visited. I don't have major complaints to be honest. The shrimp burger was quite good but the portion sizes are just too small in relation to the exorbitant prices. The biscuits are too greasy, and the drinks (including the coffee) are quite miniature. It's okay, but at the same time it's not okay. The staff is friendly and courteous though, which pushes this review over the 2 stars I was originally planning on giving. 2.5/5 stars seems more accurate. It's a restaurant that's neither here nor there.

Tried Popeyes Kandy for the first time. We ordered Classic burger, spicy rice, onion rings and lava cake. It does not worth it at all. Classic burger was chicken with two cucumber slices and hint of mayonnaise. Rice was total bizarre......(cant believe its an international franchise) Onion rings and lava cake were the same. I do not recommend..

I ordered the BBQ sawan. Perfect. No words❤️☺️ and i have visited to the Restaurant and spent like 20k + it was so good the burgers and fries wow. BBQ CHICKEN so much i really like the taste of their food ❤️ Recommended 👍

Popeyes in Kandy managed to reach new lows with their classic chicken burger. The stale, microwaved bun paired with low-quality local mayonnaise and an odd margarine twist made for an absolutely abysmal combination. It's baffling that someone thought putting cucumbers instead of pickles in the burger was a good idea, resulting in a soggy, tasteless disaster. At Rs.1350, this culinary catastrophe is a blatant rip-off and a serious disappointment.

I went to restaurant for Lunch order grilled chicken 🍔 burger and grilled drumsticks. Drumsticks were not cooked properly and the burger was full of BBQ sauce. Very poor quality 😔 Meal size is like a kids meal. Full of School Children's for 🍦 ice cream cones, no place for dine in customer's.

Had a wait for considerable time for the cashier to come to the registry and take the order. Feels it's a bit understaffed. Bill had a survey to fill to get a free ice cone. But the link was not working and the cashier simply said that there is an error coming from a few weeks back. Tried their sawana and the rices was too oily and chicken gravy was too salty. 👎

Ridiculously overpriced for what they provide. The portions are not up to Popeye's international standards. Stick to local burger joints and you'll get much better food for the same price.

Pretty darn good! But what you order makes a difference. Skip the shrimp. Grilled Fried burger is the best, imo! They also have a delivery service that’s better than using PickMe. Enjoy!

Pretty neat place when it comes to environment, staff is quick and friendly, a great place for a quick bite or delivery. Their burghers are really good tatses great, along with them meal is a great deal, but their chicken is average, the BBQ grilled chicken does not seem to worthy of the price. Portions are reasonable when it comes to burgher meals but not chicken, really small when it comes to wings, however you need to chose right to strike. Overall its not a bad experience but definitely could improve.

Overall: 3/5 The value you get here is bad, go to KFC or Pizza Hut to have a better experience. If you don't care about the value then it has okay food. I have yet to try the chicken alone which I think is what Popeyes is known for, will update the review after trying it. Value for Money: 2/5 - Our Spicy Chicken Burger meal was 2015/- it doesn't even come with Cheese, so the bun, chicken and pickles along with fries and a small drink. We have to pay 175 extra for the Cheese. We got a Nai Miris sauce that cost 150/- the amount they gave us could fill 3 Pepsi bottle caps, that's it. If you want value don't go here. 2 Meals with Nai Miris sauce was 4530/-. That's basically 14.2 USD. The same meal costs 15.4 USD in USA. Food: 3/5 - The bun felts weird and dry, the burger too, it wasn't a great burger. It's just a piece of chicken slapped between a bun. The chicken was good. The fries were great and the Nai Miris sauce was one of my favorite. If you like spicy get the Nai Miris sauce Ambiance: 3.5/5 - Pretty good to be honest, it's at the front of Odell Mall, has an open plan and is pretty chill at night. Service: 3.5/5 - The place is clean but our table was still wet, they gave us 1 paper napkin per person, yes, they counted it, we asked again and got 2 more and at last they gave us 4 more, these are cheap ones as well. when you pay nearly 2500 per person you should get some paper napkins. Cleanliness and Hygiene: 4.5/5 - Most fast food chain are very hygienic, at least they feel like it.

An excellent outlet for dine-ins and takeaways. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is great as always. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well. Highly recommended.

Good place to eat chicken 🍗. Area is little bit crowded and place is more open. But you can enjoy the meal. Prices are acceptable. Not recommend for wait longer time since not much tables available.

I've visited Popeyes(Kandy) twice, and I must say, I love the interior ambiance and the friendliness of the staff.☺️ They often have some great offers, which is a plus.😌 However, during my first visit, we tried a burger, and I found the bun to be a bit overly buttery, which left me unsatisfied. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name of the burger we ordered.🍔 But the second time I went, it was a different story (perhaps a different burger, I'm not sure). The food was fantastic, and overall, it was a great experience.🍨 As for the prices, I'd say they are reasonable.💲 Also, there are other places nearby, like Keels, Baskin Robbins and Spa Ceylon etc."

Food quality is low. Water and oil pours from chicken while we were having it. Menu slides moves soooo fast.

The food was okay. We ordered a BBQ burger meal. It came with Cajun fries. The fries were great. But the burgers were a bit small. The service and the atmosphere was good.
