A scenic beauty with the feeling of a hill station, over-looking a lake .. With one of the finest brewery - That is the description of this beauty - The Hoppery. Many of us are missing travel so if you want to be transported into a hill station without leaving Hyderabad, then this is in the place to visit. During Covid, it gave a feeling of safety with adequate social distancing but mind you, if you wish to sit at a table of your choice over the weekend, then reach before noon. We had the ordered beers, Mezze platter, Mac n cheese balls, Fish and chips, Mushroom Risotto and a Pizza. I must say that everything tasted amazing. Caveat - If you are price sensitive, this place is expensive - costing around INR 500 - INR 600/dish but if you are in the mood for a mini holiday, this place is definitely worth a visit. A whole hearted 5 stars for this place! And a definite recommendation to visit if you are on a trip to Hyderabad.

Hey everyone! Recently visited The Hoppery at Olive Bistro is a microbrewery located near Durgam Cheruvu. We are welcomed through a pathway lined with lamps giving it a cosy feel. The ambiance is fantastic but feels too cluttered and stuffy. The view of the lake from inside the glass restaurant as well as from outdoor seating is amazing, The wooden furniture, blue doors & windows adds a blue theme to this place. However it's quite expensive & the food portion is less, i say for food it isn't worth place to visit the second time for sure. So, We have Ordered 1. Was here for dinner and tbh I didn't like it 😔 too much exaggerated place because of the location but in terms of food they don't have a lot variety be it mocktails or food options. The food was average and we ordered lemon tea which was not on the menu but they said they can prepare it. It was for around 350 and above and it was really bad, a 2/5. In food we ordered pizza and some sticks, I don't remember the name exactly and both were again 2/5. All I have seen is that the places that are too much over-hyped are just good for pictures but rarely have good food. Maybe you can go because you want to for the ambience but don't expect a lot. I just hope they work on their menu and the taste. Maybe then the prices can be justified.

Having loved the Olive Bar and Bistro earlier, I was keen on trying out the Hoppery as it essentially shares real estate with Olive. What was weird though that except for the unique air-conditioned indoor space, I couldn't tell the difference from Olive. Blame it on me expecting something different. The menu felt limited just in the case of olive, but the dishes were good. They were pricey and mostly on account of the views and location. Paid about 2k for 3 of us with decent alcohol.

This place is a total treat for your eyes. It gives you a vibe of Santorini. The lake view is priceless. The best time to visit is during sunset. The lighting is ambient and just perfect, a good blend of indoor and outdoor seating that works in favor of the same. The food is good too. The in house brews are fine.

The ambience and food tasted good. The ideal time to visit is during the evening but we have visited this place during the day. The price was a bit costly but worth the location. Can visit this place with friends or family. Tried the items below: Jalapeno Mac & Cheese balls Margherita pizza Mac & cheese balls were good. Margherita pizza didn't had actual pizza flavour and the crust was also so thin. Overall taste was good 👍🏻😊

Great restaurant in a great location! The pizza was great and I really enjoyed the walk into the restaurant, feels like a fun immersive experience!

The place is calm and has bright positive ambience. It has a lake view place also but it's typically occupied and I could not book a table in that side. However as per food is concerned, it little expensive and was not as expected. They have freshly brewed beer it was at a reasonable rate. The service was slow and we had to wait a while for the order and which was also served in parts but the waiter was patience and polite even though we had told him about the delay. The ambience is good but the service needs to be better.

I am a regular at this place and I greatly enjoy their craft lager. The food options are low (typical or a pub) but the quality is beyond par. I loved their salads. It is a little bit out of the way and difficult to get to. On weekends, you would probably have to wait for 15-30 mins to get a table - it is that popular. Also, there are steps - lots of them so if you aren’t one of those people, maybe order-in instead. They also have outdoor seating with a view of Durgam Cheruvu.

What a delightful atmosphere. Service is a little slow, but the food is delicious. Must try their craft beers.

Great sunset, good beer nice food. I wish they would keep the whole place open with the good view though!! I’ll give you 5 stars if you do next time

As expected, this place is a brewery and was bustling with crowds enjoying the draught beers and food options. It does capture the sunset in a very majestic light which I would recommend as the best time to visit. The food however doesn't live up to it's price tag. They need to be very meticulous about serving customers and not just throw something on a plate. 1) The onion rings were greasy and almost dripping with oil. 2) You just can't throw some garlic oil on a bun and call it garlic bread. 3) The cheesecake was okay. It was the only thing marginally good in the entire experience People usually mistake this place for Olive Bistro which is just a few steps away and typically opens after 7PM. Please note that you aren't allowed into the premises of Olive Bistro which has "the" view of the lake.

Visited on: 26th july'23 In a single sentence I can say " I loved this place" especially during the night time, the lake view. We tried different varieties of starters, all of them were delicious. I felt the alcohol was expensive compared to other places.

Beautiful ambiance with high prices and less items in the menu. It's better to have a reservation before you're going to that place. Penne pepperoncino-745/- and Roasted chicken and hummus-485/- are good Chicken burger-575/- is average Virgin mojito-350/-

The ambience is too good. They have limited menu options. But everything we tried was tasty. We had popcorn chicken, barbeque chicken wings and Grilled Chicken. Also their Cider Beer is 🤘🏻.

Great ambience. Tasty food. We tried - Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, Kundapur Popcorn Chicken and Jalapeno Mac N Cheese Balls. Everything tasted great. The view and the ambience from the place was very soothing.

One of the best and favourite place I would always recommend to visit this place atleast one Ambience at its peak and food was just amazing But the food is much costlier when compared to other cafes but it is worthy The quantity of the food is also very low compared to the price you pay Beer was good here Outdoor seating is perfect It is perfect for couples best place for dating and also best place for friends to hangout with amazing view

This place is a gorgeous spot to spend time with friends. The atmosphere gives off a Greek vibe, and it's located right next to Durgam Cheruvu lake. The food is diverse, with a range of Italian items, including white sauce pasta and pizzas, and the starters are particularly noteworthy. The Kiwi and green apple slush is also a must-try. The service is outstanding, and the outdoor seating area is lovely, complete with music, decorative lighting, and candles on each table.

Beauty, beer & best food that’s what sums up this place. Located on the edge of hill, overlooking beautiful lake... Hoppery serves you variety of Italian food & salads, Pizzas ! Service is good, though it’s slightly expensive but it’s worth the view, food & ambience. So go ahead & try this place for your weekend hangout !

I visited with couple of ny friends and it seems place is very nice and beer choice is also very good. 2 main reasons for the less ranking. 1. Staff not trained well to hospitality management. Doesn’t respond on time and doesn’t coordinate among themselves 2. Price of the appetizers are very high and very small quantity and not many varieties. I have ordered nachos and fries. Taste is not bad but other aspect like mentioned above are not to satisfaction.

This place seemed to be an extension of the beautiful Olive Bistro as it is located right at the entrance of the latter. This place offers some 6 varieties of brewed beers and cocktails to choose from. The fish and chips was really good but the BBQ pizza was below average. You can spend some good time when on a date or with your friends to chill with over here. The staff was helpful and the service was quick.

We ordered some platter with hamas and pitta bread, mashrum pizza, cold coffee and vanilla ice-cream with chocolate brownies. The platter was good, the pizza was not good and the desert was ok. The ambience is great, nice lake side view. Overall a good experience.

Lovely ambience, decent brews & cocktails and good food. Went there on a Sunday afternoon. While they mentioned that they don't reservations, not entirely sure if that was the case as some of them seemed to get tables quicker than some others. Coming to drinks, we tried White Spice and Apple Cider beers which were your typical Wheat beer and Cider. Their cocktail, Moscow Mule - good ginger flavoured drink, was the winner though. Food was pretty decent with Mezze platter and Mushroom Risotto being the best.

This place is awesome! The entry to the restaurant, the ambience, the decor, the lake view, everything is beautiful. The food and drinks were great, service was good, sometimes it could be hard to get a table. Overall a great experience!

The ambience is beautiful , overlooking the Durguncheruvu lake. But the hype ends there. The food was just abysmal( pizza and fish & chips) , and the beers are nothing to talk about. Tried their stout, wit , lager and cider. Cider & the wit beer were better compared to others. I am not a big fan of cider myself , however my friends liked it.The only plus is the ambience.

Nestled in a quiet location withing the bustling city. A must visit for fresh brew beer. Try the nachos and the larger. The decor is fantastic, overlooking a lake.

This place has an unique atmosphere; it reminded me of a cafe in Europe. It offers a beautiful ambiance as it is located next to a lake. Chicken popcorn is a must-try.

Undoubtedly 5 stars because of ambience, service and awesome food quality. Popcorn Shrimps, Fish and chips and Alfredo Penne Pasta with parmesan cheese are must try dishes. In brewed beers you can try Fruity loops. Overall it's a fabulous place for get together.

A really fun brewery in the same complex as Olive Bistro. The Beer selection is great and the food is lip smacking. Must try their larger beer and chicken thin crust pizza. They have limited seating inside so you might have to wait. This is a pet friendly place and your pets will love it. The seats by the window have Durgum Chervu Lake view. This place is not ideal for someone who has trouble walking as there are a lot of steps.

Hard to find the place but if you know where to go, this place is a gem. Decent selection of food and what I've got was tasty. Great place to come with friends but it is loud place so prepare to drink and shout for conversations.

This place has good vibes. It is a Italian Cafe , the prices are high. They offer fresh beer and other alcoholic options too.

Ambience is quite good...Food was delicious, the craft beers very amazing... overall a great place to hangout with friends and have a wonderful time!!

It looks like Hoppery and Olive bistro are one and the same. This is a Calm place with decent music. The food is great. I was here with my friend. I had Fish n chips, popcorn chicken. In the beverages section we had, Kiwi apple Delight, The Great Gatsby. Fish n chips were good but the Popcorn chicken here is my new favourite❤️. The great Gatsby is amazing ❤️. It costs around 1500 for these 4 items. Actually, Hoppery is famous for its beer. But I didn't have it.

Apart from the ambience, nothing about this eatery is good. We ordered French Fries, Korean Friec Chicken and Orange & Cranberry Mocktail out of which only the french fries tasted good which is quite obvious. Korean chicken was smelly and tasted awful. All in all, people only visit this place to get themselves Insta worthy pictures plus the food here is very expensive. Also to add this shows as some other location on the map but it located just beside Olive Bistro which is now closed.

Amazing ambience, Quick service and the most perfect lakeview dining experience. Try something different from the usual pasta and pizza and be amazed by the taste. I tried the Pork Wrapped in Bacon and Grilled Chicken with veggies.
