It's one small restaurant for homely cooked Goan food at pretty affordable price range. They have varieties of fresh fish available daily and the thali is really good in portion as well as the quality. The ambiance is also fine. It's completely air-conditioned. Staff is quick and polite. They have few beverage options also which go nice with meals. Apart from thali they also have few ala-a-carte options too. Overall it's a good place for proper meals.

Ambience wise it's good although the sitting space was small and already occupied by the time I reached there so dicided for takeout. Since the masala they use is made at home you will definitely like it, I liked the prawns curry and modso fry from the thali I ordered, would have loved to try more food if had gotten a sitting space.

Chicken sukha was really terrible, it tastes like horlics, I didn't like it at all and won't recommend it to anyone from North. Will not go in future for sure.

We had our lunch here on our way back from goa. This was an unplanned stop, but we were very satisfied with our stop there. The food was very good, as it is in most places in goa, but since this is a traditional set up, it felt much more homely. Only thali and fish is available here. We tried 4 thalis and 2 more varieties of fish, some of which we were not familiar with. But everything tasted wonderful. Chonak fish thali tasted best to us. The place has limited seating, so you may have to wait a bit if it is full. They have very prompt service and very reasonably priced. All fish tasted very fresh! Fully satisfied. There is no washroom available, only hand washing facility.

Had visited the place today, because my friend recommended it, highly disappointed with the portion size, also Found a living cockroach inside the rice! Would definitely not recommend! You don't get to say that we're not your type customers, if y'all have any criteria for customers as well, y'all should mention it outside your restaurant! Talking about the food, we've had better thalis with better taste than your thali, and if you're bragging about the taste and authenticity of goan food in your thali, you must be kidding me! Update:- It's pretty understandable that you won't charge for a thali which had a cockroach, and that a person won't eat a thali like that! I left your thali as it was, din even touch the fish! Talking about communication, I think you should teach "Your" staff to communicate, as I tried to talk to your staff at the counter, who behaved as if he has nothing to do with it! Furthermore, Even you who I'm assuming is the owner didn't bother to come out and address the issue! So please don't bring up such mindless comebacks! Letting you know that we didn't create any issue there, and left calmly (as you said we walked out cool) because there were other people who were having their food, we didn't wanna spoil it for them, nor for you! Improve your services, rather than justifying your mistakes, that's gonna work better!

We had fish thali, Chicken biryani and tisrya(shell fish)- it was very tasty. Not spicy infact the taste of food was fantastic.

Location is in a prime area on the main road. Have sufficient chairs and tables for dine in. The atmosphere is okay and clean. Tried their: Squid thali: Came with Squid rava fry..prawns curry with drum sticks..bhagda curry , beans sabji rice and pickle. No chappati/rotis were given. Squid rava fry was good with proper spices. The rest were just fine. Chonak fry: Very flavourful and crispy Chicken sukka: The chicken sukka was too dry and didn't match the expectations. Roti: Very dry and hard rotis. Not recommended

Very good restaurant in Ponda with Rice Plate available at night time. Also other Dry/ Gravy veg as well as chicken items are reasonable & tasty.

It was good. It took a decent amount of time for the food to arrive. The staff were nice but I think the thalis are too spicy but maybe that's just me. I wasn't a big fan of their KoKum drink but it did somewhat help to cure the spice. Also cheap. Not much parking space.

It WAS,It WAS a great place for fish thali,and other items.but todays experience was horrible.we had ordered chicken xacuti 2 plates.and asked him to keep ready by 2pm.so we collected and reached back home.we emptied both the plates in our kadai.and started our lunch.all at home said same thing "this is all like a fish curry,no coconut,no masala no the typical aroma that has to be of a authentic xacuti.so my mother said just give him this review saying this time it was blend.so i called him and said about the issue.he politely accepted and agreed to take back the return.i even told him we have emptied it.still he said,fill it and get it.so i returned and got home with a complete refund.to my surprise,the owner called back saying we put 8 pieces in 1 container and there are 6 pieces.let it be you eat and don't do such things again.i was like we didn't even know how many pieces come in a plate, really.if that was the case he should have mentioned it clearly before return.i would not have gone to return at 1st place.still i return 120/- (gpay)from the refund 220/- received.and promised myself not to visit again here anyday.did not expect such a behaviour from him.so guys atleast don't go here for any chicken items henceforth and better avoid going to this place who'es owner is such a humiliating person.

Had fish thali. Was tasty. They have a variety of fish to be chosen from for the thali. Loved the cocum juice and lime soda.

A basic place right in the mouth of Ponda. If you want to feel like a Goan,eat like a Goan and eat with Goans,this is the place to be ..amazing fish thalis for reasonable price.Go ahead and experiment with some local seafood delicacies and you wont be dissapointed.

I had ordered 2 fish thali, the curry was watery and the bhaji was tasteless, and the biggest disappointment that there was no toilet. You go to any small restaurant also there has to be toilet. Hence deserves a 1 🌟 Do try to take the suggestions of the customers in a positive way and work on it, instead of simply argueing with them, or else the 4 star rating which you have will come down soon.

Very good place for lunch and dinner in the busy area of Tisk, Ponda. Goan fish thali's from here are very good and the prawns biryani is so very tasty.

Their specialty is various fish thali like chonak, kingfish, prawns, pomfret, etc Any Niz Goemkar would recommend this place for a satiating meal experience.
