I love this restaurant so much. Fell in love instantly the moment I step my foot in. It has a strong dutch - European - vintage decor/thematic and it’s perfect for an afternoon/dinner time with family or loved ones. Ordered their bitterballen, aligot van elsje (forgot to take the pict but it’s a must have and kinda their signature dish), and their stamppot. Cheese is a main ingredient for most of their dish. On the contrary, please be patient as they are kinda slow in serving you (probably due to the time needed for food prep). But overall, it was a nice experience.

I went here for dinner in a group of 4 and we ordered their main specialty dish. In my opinion this is one of the best dutch resto in central bandung area, not only serving the original dutch cuisine such as hutspot with beef stew they also have the dutch indonesian cuisine such as bistik lidah(beef tounge steak) served with boiled vegetables and steamed white rice. The atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant is also very relaxing and makes you want to stay there longer with your family and friends. So definitely an easy 5 star rating

"Authentic and Historical" is what I would use to describe the taste that I experienced in this restaurant. Out of all their staple Dutch dishes, the dish "Aligot Van Elsje" was the one that really reflects their motto "heerlijke smaak uit Nederland"

Place is very small. We went on a Saturday so we were waitlised. waited for about 45 mins before we get our table. appetizer came out in about 30 mins while main course about 40 mins. service was top notch tho. place was packed but all servers were all very kind and accomodating. overall the food were all delicious. not sure if it is worth the wait tho. you cannot book during holiday season. it is first come first serve. will def comeback but maybe on a weekday so it wont be too crowded

As soon as I entered the restaurant, it gave me such a warm and homey vibes with a vintage touch here and there. It has both outdoor and indoor seatings. I tried Aligot van Elsje, Elsje Rissole, Bitterballen, and Speculaas Latte. All foods are yummy. I highly recommend Aligot van Elsje! The mashed potato is mixed with 4 types of cheese and it was super soft❤️

I tried huzarensla🔥, biterballen, bistik lidah elita, bratwurst🔥, pasta met Gehaktsaus🔥, and pearl of orient tea 🔥🔥. These menu are underrated. this is my second time coming. the first time I came was the opening time. now after a few years, the menu is much more extensive. the decor hasn't changed much. but what is certain is that the room inside is still the same, namely still hot, lacking ventilation. so it's stuffy. but for food, it is very unique & authentic. definitely delicious. A classic Dutch cuisines restaurant that has been established since 2016. The building itself was Elsje family's home before turned into a restaurant. Very warm vibes and friendly staffs were totally giving me pleasant experiences here. We could find more story about this restaurant history by reading the menu. There were some best seller dishes here that I would like to try, but unfortunately the rissole & galantine met hutspot sold out. Bitterballen was tasty and creamy. Aligot was unique, very cheesy & sticky, but I think better to share, because it was too heavy for one person. Klassieke Stamppot was also one of favorite dish here. The gravy or espagnole sauce was damn good, very meaty and intense, while bratwursts were tender and tasty. The orange sauce was also so good that every dishes dipped into it became more delicious. Last but not least, I liked the gryphon tea with Mogambo flavor. It cleansed my palate well and a good pair with fruity and refreshing flavor notes. Will come back again to try their famous rissole and hutspot.

Everything was so good!! The risole with ham was amazing, the mayo tasted really rich. The poffertjes is also a must must try! I think this is best risole and poffertjes that I have ever tried. Will definitely come back for more next time!

We had one of the best meals during our Bandung trip here. The signature aligot was mindblowingly good, so creamy, savoury, stretchy. A feast to the eyes and the mouth. 11/10. The other dishes like Bistik and their Hot Chocolate did not disappoint as well. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Vibe was so homey and relaxing, as if I was chilling and having hearty meals cooked by my own grandma at her house. Will definitely come back for the aligot and to try other menus!

The vintage vibes here is very lovely, the staffs here were very friendly and helpful. I tried Truffle Alligot, which is a combination of 4 cheese and potato. It was very tasty and I will definitely order this menu again when I visit in the future. As someone who loves the vintage, retro and 50s era, this place is literally THE place to be. I love the classic retro vibe of this place since I step on the entrance. It seems like the owner also put their personal collections as decorations. I came on snacking time in late afternoon, so we had biterballen, hot choco, and caffe latte. Great hot choco, perfect for rainy day weather in Bandung. I also had the baileys ice chocolate. The baileys is only 40ml so it wont be kicking anything at all lol. It is served with a marshmallow. Overall, the food and drinks are great, the price is affordable, and the place is uniquely vintage.

The foods are Nederlandse typisch with family secret recipees, maar the service is too conventional. Perhaps it is because the limited tables they provides. So reservation is a must. And sadly, we couldn't switch the seats due to the list that already registered on the bills. Even we already close the bills. And they are prioritize the reservation first better than the consumer who already asked the seats to be switched before that reservation. This kind of service is really complicated and raise an inconvenient to consumers, esp.those who come from outside Bandung and don't know about this conditions. But over all, is good.

From my perspective, the foods are top notch and each dish has its unique story telling. The house itself was warm and charming. The service was attentive as well. Absolutely good value for money, the entrecôte costs 110K which is super affordable specially with the quality of food they offer and please look at the generous portion. Nice christmas decoration. As always the foods are delicious! Bistik Oma's meat was tender and tasted great, but some other dishes had too much potatoes and it makes us full even sooner 😅. Tried the tropical yellow, plenty of fruits with a refreshing taste, it's very good to refresh your palate from the typical creamy dishes. Came at 11.15 a.m and it's already packed, it's holiday afterall. Fortunately the service was great and the waiters were quick to respond.

If you plan to visit during dining hours, would be better to make a reservation in advance. Staffs were helpful & informative. Food is great as always.

The highlight of our Bandung trip! We got here at 6 pm and had to queue for about 20 minutes. The last order was at 7 pm. Glad we made it in time! We ordered Aligot van Elsje, Klassieke Stamppot, and Chocolademelk Met Bailey's. Everything was super delicious! We couldn't find this kind of food easily in Jakarta. I am Dutch but not very familiar with the local Dutch food as a disclaimer haha. We went to the place because a friend of us recommended it. What surprised me most was the fantastic atmosphere as the place is nicely decorated, looks rather Dutch with funny attributes but not over the top wanting to be an Instagrammable place. The building is old which is super nice and we were seated at the back end near the kitchen. Lots of space for kids to walk around and nice spots for them to look/play with. Food: we had stamppot, rundvleesstoofpot, something with lots of cheese almost like a cheese fondue (sorry forgot the name) and for dessert Stroopwafel. Food was very nice, the rundvleesstoofpot had good meat as far as I remember from back home it tastes very original. Stroopwafel however has more the style of the American one as you can find in Starbucks than the real Dutch version. Overall food was nice, with the more plain flavors Dutch food traditionally has. Service: Good, friendly people, food came quick, people could easily explain the menu. The owner also came by and told a bit about the history, which was nice. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion. Portion size also good.

Food overall delish. I ordered one of their recommended pasta, Pasta met Romige Kaas - it comes with a slice of toasted bread. However, I found a green patch on the centre of my bread, I assumed as mold. (I didn’t take a photo of it unfortunately) I brought the attention to the servers and they went to come back to me saying its not mold but rather parsley patch(?!). If you see on my pict, the parsley is no where near the toast. And if there is such a thing as parsley patch, there should be green patches on my pasta, which there’s none. Visit this place recommeded by a friend. Food taste good, steak, galantine, etc unfortunately when we were there many items was sold out so not much option. The Pofferjes I think need improvement, it is not buttery or milky compared to other places and bit hard... The ambience is nice with oldies Dutch theme, instagramable to those love to take a picture.

Amazing dutch food, especially their stew and aligot. Nothing special on their steaks, but i enjoyed their chocolate drinks very much. They have a long history and located in an old house. However, the ambiance for the seating area can be improved, especially seating area near the kitchen (the one with synthetic grass) to make it seems integrated with the house old-time decor.

The menu covers all the staples, with rissoles being pushed heavily (and quite good). Sadly the bitterballen had finished but the time we arrived. Food was to a good standard, but unremarkable - and the coffee is nice. A nice quiet corner to escape the hustle bustle and relax.
