Had
eaten
here
before
years
ago
and
when
we
walked
through
Banff
on
a
busy
Saturday
in
August
and
found
this
little
gem
again.
We
popped
in
during
the
late
afternoon
to
see
if
we
could
make
a
reservation
however
that
is
not
possible.
We
were
told
to
show
up
when
ready
to
eat
and
if
there
was
no
table
we
could
wander
Banff
and
they
would
text
us
when
ready.
When
we
showed
up
later
there
was
a
table
ready
for
us
and
no
wait
time.
Our
experience:
Service
-
5
out
of
5,
friendly
staff,
they
came
by
often
and
ensured
we
had
water
and/or
other
drinks.
We
spend
quite
a
bit
of
time
here
and
they
were
never
rushing
us.
Watching
the
person
behind
the
bar
make
"blocktails"
was
interesting.
Food
-
4
out
of
5,
food
was
good
however
a
lot
of
dishes
had
the
same
flavour
profile
which
after
a
while
gets
boring.
The
whole
idea
behind
ordering
tapas
(which
this
place
is)
is
to
have
some
different
type
of
dishes.
Most
dishes
have
a
huge
Asian
influence
which
is
not
surprising
considering
their
sister
restaurant
is
Japanese\Sushi.
Value
-
4
out
of
5,
prices
combined
with
portion
sizes
are
reasonable
for
this
type
of
restaurant.
But
expect
to
pay
a
few
dollars,
dishes
start
at
$9
and
most
are
in
the
$15
ranges
and
you'll
need
a
few
between
two
people.
We
are
not
big
eaters
and
had
at
least
5
or
6.
Overall
rating
-
4
out
of
5.
Will
come
back
again
but
due
to
the
lack
of
variety
will
not
become
a
regular.
