Interesting place. The lobby is warm and welcoming with a huge wood burning fireplace. The location is excellent, being steps from town. The rooms are well appointed. The one oddity is that they built them exposed to the elements. Meaning to get to your room, you have to go outside. Not a huge deal, but good to be aware of. Additionally some rooms look directly into other rooms. That's your view.

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Check in was easy and staff was super friendly. Parking is free underground! Right in the heart of Banff! Absolutely stunning views!! We stayed in a rooftop room and couldn’t believe how nice it was. Glass doors letting in so much light. Balcony overlooking the mountains. Room is new with lots of room! The mountain view from above the bed was my fav! We never used the rooftop hot tub but had a look and it was stunning. The lobby had a real wood burning fireplace crackling everyday. I will be staying here again!

This is our third stay at this property. This time was great, as expected. The room was clean and well equipped, with all of the expected amenities (except a microwave). This stay was very quiet and relaxing. Staff is friendly. The outdoor rooftop hot tubs are a treat. We opted for a superior hotel room (2 queen room) this time, as it’s in the inside hotel, making it more comfortable to go back to the room after the outdoor hot tub.

Absolutely amazing hotel! Modern, well maintained, clean. Perfect location to access the main town and all the activities Banff has to offer. We had a suite with mountain views, was so wonderful relaxing on the balcony in the evening taking in the view. Suite also included a kitchenette and a fireplace in the living area. The rooftop hot tubs were amazing, they have amazing views and it was nice to sooth the muscles after a day of hiking. Hotel has EV charging station and we didnt have to wait to charge the car, there were always bays available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

A lovely hotel, rooms spacious with beautiful toiletries. Great breakfast options, loved the self service toaster! The Check in late at night was a bit disorganised when our friends booking could not be found. Resolved soon after... Would recommend. Location is perfect for everything in Banff. Ask for free bus passes as these are very useful. Good underground parking too.

Banff has a special place in all of our hearts and few things feel better than when a trip to Banff goes off without a hitch. The Moose, it’s location, staff, rooms, and restaurant, along with great spa amenities, are the reason why I keep coming back. Additionally, the artwork, the wood work, and the fire places are all part of the allure and comfort. This trip I had my 60 year old mother with me and she was smiles the whole time. A special shout out to the staff member who kept tending the fire in the main lobby and for getting her a glass of water to boot. Thanks again. I will return.

Excellent location, awesome rooms. The service was great. Really enjoyed the entire stay. Faultless. Used the Tesla charging stations to keep us adventuring. Amazing roof top sauna and spa area. Loved every minute of our stay here.

We went to have a spa day with massage, pool, lunch, and manicure. We did not stay in the hotel over night. The service was polite and caring. The meal was filling and a good portion. My only qualm was how much everything was for a bill (First time doing something like this so I did not expect it). I would not go back for the spa day as it was to much money for me but I would go back if money was not a concern My star ranking system: 1: Bad / Don't go there 2: Could be better 3: Average 4: Above average but not the best 5: A true top notch place

One of my favorite hotel in banff. Always satisfied to stay here. Very quite and room is clean! Staff are absolutely polite and kind. Not a big fan for breakfast but love mini spa/pool? Love how they have underground parking as well. Feel very safe in this place!

We loved the atmosphere of the hotel. The massive fireplace crackling in the lobby was so inviting. The little house situated in the middle of buildings was so interesting and unique. The free parking was awesome and we were able to easily walk or use transit to visit most of the sites we were eager to see. The rooftop hot pools were amazing after a full day of exploring Banff.

Stunning mountain views from every window in our corner suite! Wonderful hot tubs on the rooftop with even more stunning views of the mountains. Beautiful lobby area with an inviting fireplace. I would absolutely stay there again if I am lucky enough to go back to Banff!

Great location! The front desk staff James is very friendly and provides us excellent customer service. The room is clean and quiet with two balconies. I can see the Rocky Mountains from my room. The hot tub and pool is on the 4th floor from 6:00-10:00. Very beautiful hot tub with Rocky Mountains view.

Great location if you want to walk in downtown Banff. Beautiful lobby area. Love the hot tub/pool on the roof. I only have a couple of suggestions/conplaints. We stayed in the two bedroom suite. Because you access some of the rooms from the outside, they need bigger mats at the door. We walked in and our boots were wet from the snow, and we couldn’t get our boots to fit on the small mat, leaving the floor wet. Also, there is a table and chairs in the room, and the few times we have stayed in this room type, there have always been marks/stains on the chairs. We didn’t even want to sit on a few of them. Perhaps leather would be a better idea so they can be wiped clean. Overall, a good hotel, but for sure fixing a few small details would help to make it great.

My recent stay at Moose Hotel and Suites in Banff was nothing short of delightful. Stepping into the lobby, I was greeted by a crackling fire and charming seasonal decorations that instantly set a cozy tone. The room itself was so comfy and immaculate and the decor was warm and inviting. I had an amazing night's sleep! The staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful. With the hotel's convenient location, we explored the town on foot. I highly recommend this hotel for their next stay in Banff!

Great hotel at the end of the main street in Banff, so you can easily walk to anything in town, but not in the middle of town where it might be noisier. Parking is super convenient, and right underneath the hotel. Really nice natural wood architecture, very pleasant staff, nice restaurant on-site, and clean, comfortable rooms. Having now seen several other hotels in Banff, I'd pick the Moose again.

The bed was very comfortable! One of the best nights' sleep I've had at a hotel. Service was friendly. Our favorite parts were sitting in the hot tub/sauna and out on the balcony while enjoying the moutain views.

I came here for a work function and we had a great time. The rooms were clean and decent but you have to walk outside to get to many of the rooms. The hotel features a spa, pool, outdoor hot tubs with amazing views, event rooms and an in hotel Italian restaurant called Pancini. Also, it is only a short walk to get to all the restaurants and shops. I would come here again!

The hotel was conveniently located, as any hotel would be in a downtown setting. The staff were very accommodating and polite, and the rooms were beautiful and tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have a vacation in Banff to book at this hotel, there is also underground parking, which is a bonus so you dony have to worry about going to a cold car in the morning during the winter. The main lobby area has a fireplace and is extremely cozy if you're waiting to check in, or if you just want to relax and socialize before heading to your room.

Nice enough aesthetically and cleanliness was decent. Front desk staff that I talked with were generally not helpful or friendly. No access to the gym before 06:30; most people I know (myself included) want to workout before that time. Also, no access to complimentary coffee for patrons unless it is from your room which I thought was strange.

The rooms were clean and the location was great. The grounds were well maintained. Our room was setup awkwardly. None of the rooms were square and the beds were arranged weird. None of the furniture really fit in there. There were also no wall hooks, so no room to hang coats or towels or whatever. We came with a family and this resort seems more adult/party focused. The hot pools on the roof were nice but were jam packed with adults drinking. It wasn’t a bad stay, but for nearly $500 CAD a night, I had higher hopes.

We had the pleasure of staying here over the weekend for a company function and were impressed by the accommodations and its location. Everything was clean, spacious and check-in was a breeze. We loved how it was close to all amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views were amazing. Would happily return and say here again

We had a suite, it was for 4 people but the bathroom was connected to the main bedroom so we had to let the others in our room all hours of the night. It’s beautiful otherwise, however the hallways are outside so it’s incredibly cold in the winter months, I recommend this stay in the summer months. The fridge froze all of our food. We kept up our own room so I can’t comment on the cleaning. Over priced a bit - we stayed at the Ptarmigan next door last year and enjoyed it much better for less cost.

Another superb stay, our 6th! We cannot fault the service or facilities. The rooms are well appointed with super comfy beds and the gas fire in the suites are pretty cool. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and go above and beyond. the hot tubs on the roof are a welcome treat after snowboarding all day. The restaurant offers excellent breakfast lunch and dinner and again, staff are amazing. Best hotel in Banff and yrs we’ve stayed at Banff Springs but The Moose much more personable, friendlier staff and far superior location. We can’t wait to stay next year!

This was one of our favourite stays! We stayed in a suite on the top floor, the room has the best mountain views. Great location, friendly staff and the food was great. The pool/hot tub were so relaxing with a beautiful view. Highly recommend this hotel and we’ll definitely be back!

We hosted our wedding reception here and experienced the best customer service! The hotel staff were knowledgeable and brought all of our six large bags up to our room for us. We booked the two bedroom rooftop unit on the fourth floor with mountain views. It was spectacular!! The rooftop hot tubs with Mountain view was our absolute favorite. The staff who served at our reception were well praised from guests. Our guests were very impressed and happy that they could easily walk to the reception fr other Banff hotels.

We can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We and several dozen guests stayed there for our daughters wedding. The staff was incredibly helpful, providing us with extra space for storing flowers and baking. They gladly supplied extra serving dishes when requested and only intervened graciously when the party got a little loud. The in-house restaurant served up great food and the rooftop pools were a delight. We stayed in the historic Corner House in the center of the courtyard which provided a great meeting place for our guests.

Great hotel and perfect location to downtown for easy walking to everything. Underground parking has 6'7" clearance so most trucks can fit with ease. Roof top hot tubs are great with a nice fire bowl (natural gas) for some extra relaxation in the mountains with great views.

This is such a nice hotel! We loved how the rooms are arranged! The indoor pool as well as the jacuzzis outside and the sauna were amazing! You get to relax in the hot tub with a wonderful view! Service was excellent too! The room and bathroom were super clean! Only the fridge that was not so clean, but it really didn’t matter. The location is simply amazing close to everything! Lots of restaurants and shops!

The rooftop suite was nice, however its not as big as the person count would make you think. You also need to go outside to access the room so be aware of that. The restaurant downstairs is great, and the service was good too. The location is incredible, just a few minutes walk from downtown. Overall I would reccomend.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Nice to have a small kitchenette with microwave fridge dishes and cutlery. Gas fireplace is a pleasant esthetic and provides sufficient heat on a cool day. Balcony had a nice view.. could see a bit of a mountain view. Beds were comfortable. Could use a little more counter space in the bathroom but clean and bright. Loved being able to access our room without having to go through the lobby

This hotel grew on me over the 4 days I was in Banff. Convenient location for easy access to the centre while being quiet. I was in a street level room at the back of the property which took a bit of getting used to but the great double blind system meant excellent darkness at night and easy privacy. I didn't want to sit on the balcony though being overlooked by pedestrians as they strolled by. The room lighting was simple but effective and the bathroom did everything a bathroom needs to do. The staff were perfectly efficient but I wouldn't describe them an engaging.
