5 stars because i love what they have going on here. Super friendly staff and amazing recipes. The honey and butter fries were crazy good. Amazing. Had the Korean BBQ dish and loved it. That said it could benefit from a little more sauce. The pork was delish and abundant, albeit a little fatty. The veggies and rice were done just right. If you're in Banff and looking for a quick bite I recommend Hankki.

Hands down best food in Banff - I’m obsessed and I’ve had it so many times! It’s just so consistently incredible and I rave about the food to everyone! The cupbop options are so delicious and filling and the honey fries are literally to die for. I am SO happy Hankki is in Banff and I want them to keep busy so they stay so please go and start the obsession for yourself!

My 2nd time to experience eating at Hankki. My first time is in Downtown, Calgary. This branch has a picturesque view of the mountains. A little crowded since it's a weekend but the wait time for our food is quite acceptable. Food is great. We love the honey butter fries topped with a lot of the cheese sauce. Staffs were also friendly and nice. Definitely a must try if you're in Banff.

What a great addition to the Banff food scene ! Food is delicious, portions are generous, and the staff are all very friendly and kind :) We tried the veggie mandu bop and honey butter fries - both amazing! So good we returned another day to try the mozzarella hot dog. If you are new to Korean street food, this is a great first stop. Will be back next time I'm in town!

One of my favourite meals in Banff village. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and great customer service. I ordered the spicy pork with rice option. Would definitely return to enjoy the food here again.

We ordered 3 bowls. Everything is so delicious, service is fast. The shop is small but spacious enough, can fit a full size stroller easy. Would highly recommend

Food is really good and the price right that we went here twice. Liked the Korean BBQ the best. The sauce was a little too much for me but it was just the right amount for the rest of the family. Love the fries too! It has some sweetness to it. The place is just small that we ended up taking the food back to the hotel.

Great little Korean food restaurant! Not a lot of seats inside but it's right next to a plaza so you can sit outside. Food is served in bowls so very easy to walk around with. Very tasty food and price was super affordable compared to many other restaurants in Banff area. We had the ugly potato hotdog, korean bbq bowl and veggie bowl--all were tasty! They also have a TV inside that plays trendy kpop mvs. Loved it! Friendly workers too.

Such an amazing place! I stumbled upon this place while on our way to the Banff Hot Springs. I like the idea of the food in a cup so we tried it. We ordered the one where you can order 2 meat and that was very satisfying. The food was delicious and the service was very fast. The workers were very nice and polite and the store were very clean. They also sell Korean hotdogs / corn dog which we have still yet to try. I recommend this to anyone who loves to try Korean style foods and who is on the go. I will definitely come back here.

Great prices and incredible flavours, made with fresh ingredients! Restaurant was clean, service was quick and great! I really enjoyed the Korean BBQ cupbop, pork was well marinated. $10 for a regular size is a pretty great deal! Even with a few simple and basic ingredients, it was able to deliver a unique taste and flavour. It for sure met and surpassed my expectations! Fries with Honey Butter were nice and crispy, was powdered up real nice but I wouldn't go out of my way for them.

Great location and very good food. I just wish the dishes were a bit warmer... it's very cold outside! The street hot dogs were surprisingly good. We will definitely come back very soon.

Food is always good! These fries are literally the best fries we’ve ever had. It’s so crispy, always hot, and the honey butter flavor tastes so good! Each bowl comes with sticky white rice, egg, dumplings, mayo and spicy sauce (4 different heat options), lettuce, and your choice of protein. We’ve bought food from here at least 5 times while on our trip this year and it won’t be our last haha

Great place for some delicious snacks in good portions that make you feel energized (or guilty😆) after a long-day hike or shopping in the area. Honey butter fries is a must try. We were also impressed by the friendly staff and live vibe.

Initially I was hesitant about this place because of its size, but don't let that fool you! There are good portion sizes, good prices, and even better tasting food. It's easily my favorite Korean Street food I've tried to date. If you are in town, I would not skip out on this place. I just wish there were more seating options.

Enjoyed the combo with Korean bbq pork, fried chicken with a side of dumplings. Loved the pickled veggies and sauces too. Portion size was good. I got the regular size and could barely finish it. Fast service. Small seating area, but it seems to turn over quickly.

Took the bulgogi bowl and honey butter fries. The dumplings in the bowl were delicious! Asked for low spicy but still found it pretty spicy. The fries are unique and the portion is pretty big.

Looking for a quick snack? This place has some very interesting ‘curveballs’! Korean street food isn’t something readily available back home so I’m glad I tried it. We went with the ‘ugly potato’. Well cooked, crispy texture and a variety of interesting sauces. The restaurant was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meal came up quickly.

Came here twice for dinner while visiting Banff. They accept credit cards including American Express. Staff was friendly here. Got the Hankki Bowls: Signature BBQ (marinated grilled pork) and Chee Bop (Korean fried chicken). Both were good and filling. They have tables and chairs to dine in.

My first time dining here. Got a good recommendation from my colleagues. I wasn’t disappointed! I ordered Korean BBQ bowl and Mozzarella & Sausage hotdog 🌭. The rice bowl was delicious and a lot! I had to save half for later. I knew I also had a hotdog but I saw another lady saved half as well! It was busy at opening hours but the queue was running fast. I’m going back to try more!

Before entering the store I stopped a lady on her way out and asked her what was good. She said “honestly, it’s my second time in two days.. so, probably everything” I laughed and entered the restaurant. Immediately greeted by their friendly staff and welcoming ambiance. We ordered their honey butter fries and they were amazing. Highly recommend! Will be back tomorrow for sure 🤤

Something different and affordable in Banff downtown. Paid only $12 for chicken stir fry. Place is small and cozy, staff is great. Food is average. My chicken stir fry came in room temperature on hot lettuce and cold rice. Three pieces of meat looks like the one on the pic, not cooked properly and simply not safe to eat. I might be back but rather for hot dog not for any of the bowls. Edit: After my review the management reached out to me and offered a gift card. I accepted it. Went there last Tuesday to try another bowl and my experience was way better. Thank you!

We ordered the combo bop and the popular honey butter fries. Both were great but the fries were a little bit too sweet. Highly recommended to try when you visit town of Banff for a quick bite.

Great tasting food! Got the Chee Bop bowl & Ugly Potato dog, and would recommend both. They also have a “sauce” bar where you can add your own sauces / as much as you need! Would recommend.

Hankki is a hidden gem for Korean fried chicken enthusiasts! The crispy, flavorful coating of their chicken is simply unbeatable. The variety of sauces adds an extra layer of deliciousness. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance is perfect for a casual meal. If you're a KFC lover, Hankki is a must-try – you won't be disappointed! 🍗🌟
