I
wanted
to
love
this
place,
I
really
did.
I
had
a
couple
of
gift
certificates
laying
around
and
decided
to
put
one
to
good
use
by
booking
a
spa
pedicure,
$58.
(!!)
I
haven't
had
a
ton
of
spa
services
in
my
lifetime,
so
was
pretty
excited
to
have
a
pedicure
at
a
place
that's
so
highly
touted.
I've
lived
in
Bangor
a
long
time
and
had
never
been,
so
was
really
expecting
the
Rolls
Royce
of
pedicures
for
almost
$60.
I
walked
in
and
yes,
the
place
is
nice,
but
not
the
hushed
elegance
I'd
expect
for
the
prices.
Granted,
I
didn't
see
all
of
the
salon,
just
the
entry,
waiting
room
and
pedicure
area.
I
checked
in
and
then
just
stood
there.
Since
I'd
never
been
before,
I
had
no
idea
where
to
go
and
had
to
ask
where
the
waiting
area
was
for
my
appointment.
The
receptionist
pointed
me
in
the
right
direction
(It's
to
the
side
and
behind
reception)
mentioned
that
there
was
coffee,
water,
etc.
available
there
as
well.
And
there
was,
but
just
your
run
of
the
mill
Keurig
station
with
paper
cups,
the
same
as
my
mechanic's
garage.
But..OK,
it's
still
coffee.
My
technician
came
out
to
get
me
and
she
was
very
sweet
and
I
enjoyed
talking
to
her,
which
was
a
plus.
However,
the
pedicure
area
was
just..basic.
4
or
so
pedi
chairs
in
a
row,
shelves
with
products
for
sale,
shelves
on
the
wall
with
nail
polish
to
choose
from.
The
wall
in
the
hallway
was
scuffed
with
black
marks
by
my
chair
and
the
light
fixtures
overhead
all
had
a
fuzzy
coating
of
dust
on
them.
Again..would
I
normally
give
a
hoot?
Nope?
I've
had
my
nails
done
in
the
back
of
some
guy's
cash
only
van
in
North
Carolina..I'm
not
picky.
But
again,
for
the
price
and
the
build-up..it
was
surprisingly
average.
And
it
wasn't
until
I
got
home
and
got
a
good
look
with
my
glasses
on
that
I
noticed
that
one
of
my
big
toe
nails
is
clipped
at
a
decided
angle,
there's
some
polish
clean-up
that
got
missed
on
the
side
of
a
couple
of
toes
and
the
ridges
on
my
big
toe
nails
are
still
pretty
obvious.
Now
in
their
defense,
I
didn't
even
think
to
mention
the
ridges,
but
they
are
obvious
and
weren't
addressed.
And
for
almost
$70
after
a
20%
tip..that
should
have
been
noticed
and
corrected
by
a
professional.
All
in
all,
I
enjoyed
going,
the
experience
just
wasn't
worth
the
price
for
me.
