    a giant statue of Nasalis Lavartus that locally known as 'Bekantan'.. the iconic animal of South Kalimantan.. located not to far away from Siring Tendean Floating Market, the statue is also popular as a selfie spot for anyone who come and visit Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan..

    Nothing much too see around the area. But good enough to walk in the afternoon. Maybe if the statue were clean, it can be a nice icon of the city.

    I came here when rainy day so not so much thing to see beside this bekantan statue but it was a good place because you can see a river in front of that but no people selling thing

👍 Historical relics, monuments built to commemorate the heroes and fighters against NICA, may be further repaired and beautified. It must be preserved even though it seems like the place is rarely known by children, because it just passes by like that. Even though this is historic.
