1. Before we came they called us to confirm and said our room is ready. Checked in and wasn't given the requested room (asked for non smoking and given smoking). 2. No one helped us with our luggage (we came in a group) and left our luggage at the entrance without a care so we ended up taking the luggage ourselves 3. Said our room was ready but when we came in there was no towels and mat in the bathroom. Called 4 times and never got it. Had to go down and protest to get it. 4. Staff has no manners, prioritized the lift for themselves and not guests. NOT RECOMMENDED

I don’t understand how they arrange the electricity circuit. 1 lamp is connected with the whole room electricity. If I turn off the “the lamp”, there will be no electricity; you cannot charge anything. I am a typical of person who only could sleep if it is a total black out. And this circumstance is annoying because I could not charge my gadget when I sleep. Or I get a good sleep but none of my gadgets are fully charged tomorrow.

I have to wait until 4.30 pm just to get my room, and when i check out they keep calling me from 11-12am...to remind me to check out.

From my experiences staying in several hotels in Banjarmasin, this is one of the best hotel in the city. They have an excellent service, various facilities, good view of city Banjarmasin, and strategic locations. This hotel is suitable for family vacation or simply staycation with friends or partner.

Had a pleasant stay for 2 nights in Sept 2021. Clean room with wooden floors which keep our feet warm, generous amenities and toiletries, sufficient standard furnitures, a lot of tv channel to choose. The restaurant is a bit tight with the health protocol being undergone. They cleverly deal with it by opening the bar area for guest's breakfast. Menu is quite various from local to international, Indonesian to western. Personal critical point: they serve * proper* espresso. Freshly ground and brewed. They just put an espresso machine there for guests to use (+100!). The pool area is spacious with attractive pool shape, not a usual boring square pool. On Sunday morning, this facility would usually get swamped. It's located right between the restaurant and the bar. The hospitality, well, unquestionably great. They also have huge advantage compared to other hotels: its location which is right in the heart of Banjarmasin and in the same complex with a huge mall. I'd say it's a one-stop staycation destination, or for business trip.

It is my first time in this town. Having stayed at Fugo Hotel helped me to get a good rest for my next journey. I am impressed. The receptionist, Bu Helena Safira, made my day with her courteous and friendly service. I received a room facing the swimming pool. The room was clean, comfortable and organised. The hotel has a link to a mall which provides more excellent options for activities, entertainment and food. In-house food during morning breakfast is sufficient, but it will be great if more varieties are available. It is worth mentioning the wifi was very good, and the same went for the aircon and shower. I will mark this hotel for my future visit.

Hotel provided a quite good services overall with comfort for theirs rooms ensuring a good nights sleep. The food was satisfactory though not exceptional. Notes for F&B department,some of them lacked proper hospitality skills leading to slighty subpar service. With some improvement in staff training this hotel has the potential to deliver an outstanding experience for its guests

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Banjarmasin. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the Fugo Hotel offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out.

Nice hotel, everything are on place, one thing to improve, time to serve at receptionist especially during check in. During my visit, i arrived at 5 pm with already reserved and room still not available, its not make sense, and must wait at least 15 minutes.

Stay for short meeting at Fugo Hotel today, I have experienced an extraordinary people in this hotel. I accidentally left a Rolex belongs to my friend after dinner. After 30 minutes in my room, I went back to the restaurant, and told the problem. Staff from the kitchen, a humble and helpful man (Bang Fathurrazi) ) helped me to dig-in to the temporary disposal (bare hands) to find the watch, when he was supposed to get ready to go back home. After an hour screening every plastic bag from the hotel and mall, we gave up. Pak Umar, manager in Fugo, has performed the actual meaning of honesty , sincerely, trustworthy, and customer satisfaction oriented. He observed my reaction, and feels my deepest worry if I lost the watch. He then, once again, ask the kitchen staffs to find the watch somewhere in the kitchen, without I asked. Sitting alone and confused in my room, Pak Umar and nice security man, knocking my door and his hand was holding the envelope with the Rolex inside. I was so relieved, and don’t know how to thank him. He even apologized for the accident and caused me stay up for the whole night. I strongly recommend, if Fugo Hotel should have a “Guest Experience Manager” Pak Umar is the man. The management must consider for his good act. Held several events in this hotel and been very satisfied with the service. Room are spacious and have a pool view so i found it very relaxing. Staff was extremely helpful, has been handled by Mrs. Atul and Mr. Budi, they will always be around to help with a warm wellcome and sincere smile. When i enter Mercure Banjarmasin it is always feel like i’m coming home.

Its ok for a 4 star hotel rather than i like. Soft mattress, cold aircon and good health protocol. You can have good breakfast. Facilitated also with pool. The only thing that make me sad during the two days stay was the bad smell towels. Pls improve it.

Me and my friend went to Banjarmasin for vacation amd stayed 1 night in this hotel. The hotel is located right next to duta mall. We got room 1119, the room was not well maintained. The curtain has a tiny hole, the wall got scratch by pencil or something like that, the wooden on bathroom's door was kinda broken, my bedsheet had little torn. But the worst part when we wanted to take a shower, the housekeeper forgot to put towel and doormat, we contacted like 5 times or so, still not delivered. Thank god, finally they gave it after we went back from dinner outside.

Nice, clean, all we need available. Beside shopping mall and room services 24 hrs even during pandemic. However need to check the towels more often, I stayed twice and both times no towel. Have to called room service.

Location is on the top of mal in citycentre, but no special parking area for hotel customer 👎 Breakfast is standard. Pool is very ok, kids love it

Rooms are nice, but the windows are dirty. Reading lamps broken, and so much dust. Although, I liked staying in the Hotel Room. The staff service is Amazing! They are polite, and soketimes, they do calls to check if we need housekeeping, water, towels, etc. The location is.. Well, average. Connecting to a mall, and near to so much places. What I dislike about this hotel is the pool. The pool is so dirty, and also, there are so much wood, and leaves falling from the trees near the pool. A sharp piece of wood injured my toes, and i lost quite a lot of blood. The breakfast food is AMAZING! There are lots of food to eat, but the drinking uptions are limited.
