Pasar Terapung Siring is a cultural tourist attraction in Banjarmasin. They open until night time. If you are an early bird, this is for you. The real floating market is usually held as early as 5AM and around 10AM activities gradually slow down. It is a traditional market where vendors sell various goods from their ‘Jukung’ floating on the river.

Floating market, you can buy from fruits like oranges and bananas to traditional local snack.. instant coffee and tea too.. be careful and keep aware not to step too close to the edge of the boat.. its a big and deep river!

Such a fun place to spend an evening with family. Floating market with lots of fresh fruits and delicious snacks. Nice experience although not many variants of goods sold there.
