Nice place with an amazing view over Banjul and the whole river Gambia delta. Our guide was friendly and funny, this price of 100 GMD per adult is fair.

Good view of Banjul from the top, and decent little exhibition. If you get lost, there is no signage and it's a little dark in the stairwell, keep going up.

Wonderful "Egereh" experience. Had great 2nd row seating. The timing between each hunting was long but when this hunting came out he danced for the crowd. There were so many people, the place was packed.

(Translated by Google) The tallest building in the Gambia capital, Banjul. Admission paid - the ticket costs 100 dalasi (2 dollars), payment only in local currency. You can go out to the highest balcony, it is nice to see the city panorama. (Original) Najwyższa budowla w stolicy Gambii, Bandżul. Absolutely must go. Just 100 dalasis entry and you can climb to the top. It gets dark in some spots so be careful! The top floor is a small “museum” and local guide will explain all about politicians while you see photos there. Originally I didn’t want that as I came for photos BUT I am so glad he made me to listen as it was pretty fascinating (and those photos are amazing)

For a view point of Banjul, it is the best place. But for a museum, it is not too much information too see, anyway the entrance fee is not expensive.

Arch 22 is a monument that was constructed by the former regime/ government that came into power in July 1994. It is situated at the entrance at the capital city Banjul. It is also a tourist attraction area.

The Gambia was administered as a part of British West Africa from 1821 to 1843. It was a separate colony with its own governor until 1866, when control was returned to the governor-general at Freetown, Sierra Leone, as it would remain until 1889.

A fantastic view of the city. Offers an aerial view of the entire city of Banjul from the ocean, mangroves, port, bridge and neighboring towns of Barra and Bakau. One needs to climb the stairs all the way to the top but the view is definitely worth it. The night view 😍

Visited. To climb this as a non Gambian, you pay 100 Dalasis. I paid 25 Dalasis four years ago when I visited and I don't know what if would cost tomorrow.

Odd looking landmark... proportions are out of phase, and there is actually nothing but a parade seatings on the side of that... I have no idea why it is built and what its purpose is. It is fairly big, compared to surrounding buildings, but found no access to go up

The stairs are easy to manage and can be done in stages. I doubt if the lift will ever be fixed. There are some exhibits about Gambian history that I found interesting. I paid 100 dalashis and had the whole archway to myself. You're basically paying for the view and different perspective of Banjul.

Arch 22 is a commemorative arch on the road into Banjul in the Gambia. It was built in 1996 to mark the military coup d'état of July 22, 1994, through which Yahya Jammeh and his Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council overthrew the democratically elected Gambian government.

Even our guide was pretty lukewarm in his enthusiasm for this odd memorial to a deposed former leader. Yes you can climb to the top for the view but expect an unofficial person requesting money.

Met a guy of dating app Grindr here, called Yahya. He seemed a bit simple, and had very bad halitosis. I think he was wearing a bed-sheet and a serviette from the local restaurant so I politely explained I wasn't interested.

Rather ugly, but there is an interesting exhibition inside. From the balconies located on the both walls of the arch you can see the city.

This arch was built because of the national day July 22nd. It looks completely out of place at the entrance of the city via the S. Bank Road. A strange monument.

(Translated by Google) The tour is included in most city tours. It has a nice view and at the top of the clock there is a small museum and an even better view. But that was it. It costs no entry but the entrance is besieged by cashew shop assistants.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful landmark. In the interior unfortunately less impressive and in bad condition. Lift is broken, souvenir shop orphaned and rooms away from full garbage. The view from the top compensates for that. I hope to return soon to these attractions.
