This place is among the most important temple for the annual religious celebration of Nine Emperor Gods Expect crazy jams along the small road that lead to this temple. Advice to park somewhere further (plenty of open air car parks available) and walk into the temple. Every year you will find more and more stalls setup along the way. Now it's like a big night market before leading into the real temple ground.

Very lively every year during the Nine Emperor God Festival (九王爷) in September /October. A lot of booths selling foods, drinks and gifts. Do be warned that the price of food and drinks here could be crazy high! The crowd could get very big and make it difficult to walk around. There are also many performances like opera dance and ceremonies to be watched. Recommended to come at least once in your lifetime.

A great place to visit and pray every year during Nine Emperor's God Birthday. Always crowded and packed like sardines. Be careful of your own belongings. It's usually get crowded started evening until night time. Sometimes it's hard to get parking during night time. Alot of food stalls along the road and always jam especially evening/night time. It was closed 2 years during MCO and it reopens now. Can come to experience the celebrations on this period. It's always happening.

First time I rate a temple. For me ,I feel a bit sad when the joss stick I just put on were pull off instantly and throw away. Maybe should do crowd control.

This is one of the place where the chinese will go for praying and celebrate the chinese festival every year. The place will be jammed and crowded with people and it usually will be difficult to find a carpark near the temple, therefore some people need to park the car further and walk to the temple during the festival. But overall is a nice atmosphere for people to go to.

Visit this temple yearly during Nine Emperors' birthday every year from 1st Sep to 9th Sept (lunar calendar) Very crowded. After 2 years of mco, when it's opened in 2022 Sept, it was really crowded and packed! Watch your steps on the wet floor during rainy season. It's better not to bring small kids there, cause it's so hard even walking into the temple due to the big crowd. Vegetarian Food are expensive there. And there were so many food stalls inside and outside the temple.

Nine Emperor festival, yearly during Chinese lunar calender 1st - 9th September. Mainly celebrate in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. Last time mainly by Hokkien people who migrate from China. Normally for the 9 days, people will be full vegetarian. Now Thailand Bangkok have lot of stores serve vegetarian during the same period.
