Exceptional market but you MUST GO EARLY in the morning between 7AM and 8.30AM due to market holders PARK in the square and car park SPACES.It can be extremely busy place has there is 1 way and in after the square

We've been there on a rainy Friday in August, we bought some fresh fish on from a very kind family. They were cleaning the fish in front of us: delicious! Few other stands with vegetables and bread, but the weather was horrible so I suppose many farmers just didn't came to the market.

Great market, plenty of stalls (early August). The only thing I'd say (and not the market's fault directly) is that the town gets absolutely clogged with traffic. Very few places to park. Go very early and try to park on the side of the town that you wish to leave by (you don't want to drive through town). Don't know if the town's layout would support this, but could a one way system be installed?

Great market the fruit and veg stall is very good ya man is very friendly and reasonably priced. Stall selling a variety of garlic very reasonably priced and friendly. Small craft shop next to garlic stall has beautiful cards and t shirts drawn by hand at reasonable prices. Coffee guy serving from the back of his van does amazing coffee.

Great selection of food and crafts. Not a lot of parking in the town during the market.

It can be very busy when sunny. Great atmosphere, character, and always delightful smells wafting around from the artisan foods. There is something to appeal to most people. Only downside is often the traffic congestion and limited parking. Wonderful way to spend a summer Friday tho. The wonderful variety of people in town is always an enjoyable experience also.
