Low key and solid lunch spot in Bar Harbor. Very simple lunch spot that seemed fairly busy. Right next to Village Green. I got the Lobster roll which was as close to perfection as I can tell. The Italian sandwich and hummus sandwich were also very nicely done. Definitely check this place out.

Best lobster roll ever. Saw reviews and tried it out. Thought maybe the reviews were a tad generous. The positive reviews were spot on. Great staff, generous portion and excellent taste. Wow!

It’s been months since we visited Lunch in Bar Harbor, and my spouse and I still think and talk about these sandwiches. They were that good. It was carefully crafted in a way you just can’t find in chain sandwich shops. It’s sandwich as an art, instead of an after thought. Basically I’m saying go there.

We were in town and came across this place. We decided to try their seafood chowder. The Chowder had good flavor with a good mix of fish , lobster, clams. We were happy we decided on this fun lunch place. We loved the decor. Don’t forget to say hi to their moose

Such a pretty place run by a family! I ordered a tomato basil soup and a veg sandwich. Both were tasty and well made. I would specially recommend the sandwiches here.

Great lunch spot for sandwiches. The Italian #1 was great. The bread was amazing and you could tell there was a lot of attention to detail! I also happened to meet the owner while on my trip and he was a great guy. Definitely recommend!

Lobster roll was good but my favorite was the clam chowder. Very friendly and funny person taking our orders.

Quaint lunch spot. Curry chicken salad and lobster roll were both delicious. The gentleman behind the counter taking orders had a wonderful way about him.

Great spot for a good sandwich. I'm a CT lobster roll kind of person and their version was solid if not great. Very friendly service and a nice place to sit and eat. Very creative menu for those that don't want lobster.

I wish we would have found this gem earlier in our stay. Once we did though, we couldn't stop eating there. Every soup and sandwich we tried was incredible and some of the best food we had on our trip. The workers are great and the atmosphere is relaxed. We saw many people ordering to go to pack for hikes. We keep joking that we are going back to Bar Harbor just for Lunch.

More than 5 star rating! My husband and I got the Tandoori Chicken Panini for lunch and it was goooooooddddd. It was just the right flavor. It’s not the typical Tandoori chicken flavor you get at an Indian restaurant. The slaw and the aioli just blended well with the flavor of the chicken. Loved it.

Didn’t expect it to be special when walking past en route to eating at another place. But I saw the Specials, especially the lobster roll with cup of chowder for $32, and thought, “I still haven’t had a lobster roll while in Maine.” Mental note. We went to another place for a coffee and found they weren’t doing breakfast anymore. My son said, “Lunch soup and sandwich! That’s what I want.” I chimed in that I already knew what I was having. My wife and daughter said, yeah, all right. All of us were so happy we came here. From Boston to Bar Harbor with many stops along the way, my son said, “I love the vibe here(at Lunch). This is my favorite place yet.” #3 for him: prosciutto, Gorgonzola, fig jam, walnut butter sandwich Shared bowl of clam chowder with my wife. #5 for her: Black Forest ham, apple, cheddar, balsamic glaze My daughter had #6: Muenster, mozzarella, cheddar grilled cheese sandwich And I had the lobster roll and cup of clam chowder. I’ve been eating lobster along the way, and this was the best tasting lobster I’ve had. I’ve had it in every form so far, but no roll till now. Saved the best for last. And the clam chowder was amazing. Spiced well with pepper, and lots of chunks of clam and potato. I will come here next trip to Acadia.

5 stars isn’t enough! I liked this place so much that I ate here 3 days in a row. The chowder and tomato soup were amazing. The #6 was the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had and their crab patty melt was phenomenal! Highly recommend if you are visiting Bar Harbor

So glad we stopped for lunch here! I ordered the #3 Italian and my husband had the #5 panini. Honestly the best sandwich I have ever had in my life! The bread was seasoned so well and tasted fresh. The sandwich itself just hit every flavor perfectly. Patrick was very friendly and personable. He also had a great sense of humor. Definitely stop in at Lunch if you're in the Bar Harbor area!!

Well made sandwiches with interesting flavor combinations - not just your usual deli combo. The service was friendly and efficient. I got the curry chicken sandwich - a bit heavy on Mayo but otherwise delicious.

I personally did a lobster roll tour of a few spots in Bar Harbor and by Schoodic and I feel like these guys had the best lobster roll. All the rolls in the area are pricey so can’t hold that against them but all I’d say is add a pickle! Staff was nice and I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for more than someone just throwing some lobster in a bun.

Stopped by to pick up lobster rolls for lunch. They were so good! Such a great combination of flavors and they def had a hefty portion on lobsters. One of my fave places for lobster rolls on the island!!

On a 10-day tour of New England breweries and restaurants, this was the surprise highlight. We stumbled into it based on Google reviews and lost our minds. I had the best lobster roll of my life. The clam chowder was peppery and delicious, and I thought I didn't like chowders until then. The service was great and fun.
