Husband and I travel a lot and enjoy trying new places. Didn’t feel the love when we first came in but we’re super friendly people, so could just be us? We ordered the Chicken Nachos! Let me stop here! The delicious fried tortilla chips with the white melted cheddar, & seasoned chicken kept the two most talkative people quiet. I should of took a pic of the aftermath, they pretty much wouldn’t of had to wash the dish. Perfect portion for two. We followed it with a custom pizza, sausage, red onions, jalapeños & mushrooms. We fight between thin crust and deep dish, this was a glorious compromise! We’ll done! Ready for a nap! Definitely recommend!

AMAZING!!!! We’re from out of state and wanted to try some of the local food. Found this place and seen some pictures of the pizza and had to try. Ordered the gem city supreme and was blown away. The large was around $34 with tax. The amount of pizza you get for that is unreal. The pizza was amazing. The crust was super crispy. The sauce was very flavorful. It was extremely cheesy and delicious. I have payed way more for a lot less pizza. The only thing about this pizza I would have changed is I would have let it cook a few more minutes. Most of the peppers and onions on top were still crunchy and a little under cooked but other than that hands down best pizza I’ve ever had. I just wish I wasn’t 4 states away.

Awesome lunch. The pizza was full of sausage and cheese. The prime rib sandwich delicious. Enjoyable dining experience.

I used to looove the pizza …. The deluxe large everything…. Just got one yesterday and was very disappointed they switched their cheese … to this velveta runny thing that is not the most appetizing and extremely messy. Everything else seems the same but the cheese made me not want to eat/get this pizza here again. And we believe they raise their prices. Just very disappointed. ( picture included, last piece , yes we ate it, it’s edible just not as enjoyable.)

Very delicious food - we ordered the pizza (which is amazing), salad and onion rings. However, one thing to note is that the staff didn’t wear masks during COVID, which might cause some concern if the customers were trying to follow social distancing policy. Next time, I might try to just take out the delicious pizza instead of dining in.

Took a chance with this place without looking at any of the reviews. Luckily the table next to us had ordered a couple of the establishments famous pizzas, so I got a quick look at those as we sat down. Walking into the place, our hearts were set on sandwiches, which I'm sure are great. However, after seeing the pizza we ended up ordering a small deluxe. And folks, don't let the word small fool you here. The only small thing about it was that it's smaller than their large size. The small is more than enough for 2 people. Me and my brother are known to have bottomless pits as stomachs and we were struggling towards the end of our task to finish the whole thing, but we endured in the end with only some minor discomfort as a result. My only gripe was that our server was less than welcoming during our entire visit. Perhaps they were just having a bad shift, which as a previous employee of the customer service industry know all too well can happen frequently. Regardless, I hope whatever caused the aforementioned demeanor isn't lingering, and they find some joy in their work. The experience won't waver my decision to return for another visit in the future, but it was enough to knock a star off the overall rating, for now. Do yourself a favor and go try out their pizza! I'm happy I did.

We had deep fried mushrooms, and a Large Pan Style Deluxe pizza. Pizza was very good. Excellent crust and fresh toppings with large pieces of sausage. Mushrooms were also excellent. Are server was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return again. Thank you for the great meal.

If you love pizza, you have to experience this place!! What a loaded pizza and so flavorful, large pieces of sausage the size of my thumb!! Also had great nachos and breaded mushrooms!! It was a lot of food for the six of us and ended up taking pizza home, what outstanding leftovers!! The service was good by the bartender/owner! If we lived in the area, we know where we would go for fantastic pizza!!! Check it out when you are in the area!

The girl and I had the deluxe pizza with a basket of fries. Both the pizza and fries were some of the best that we had. We both agreed that we will be coming back :)

Wanted to share my amazing experience at Gem City— I called yesterday (9/6) with a last minute large carry out order for a work party we were having and asked if it could be fulfilled shortly after they open today (9/7). I didn’t get her name but she was so kind and attentive on the phone when I called. Fast forward to today, I believe the owner, Gary, met with my boyfriend (whom picked up the order for me) he gave him drink tokens and was SO SO nice to him. The order was perfect and everyone enjoyed their pizza— shouts out to the kitchen staff as well! My coworkers, boyfriend, and I can all collectively agree- Gem City has the best pizza and service in the area! We’ll definitely be using them for another party at Sun Mountain Spa again soon. Thank you guys so much again for accommodating us!

The Best Pizza🍕Customer service! The owner, Gary, politely apologized they goofed up our pizza toppings, so he made us another Togo! He made sure we were 💯 satisfied! The bartender Caden was very tentative and kept the wine 🍷 coming. Will be back. We wanted to try everything on the menu 😋 so many good choices!

Jeff was kind and patient to our family of 6. He made my night. After a long day in the Dells, we left kind of late. Every pizza place was closed. My wife picks this place out. At first we thought we'd just get take-out, then we decided to dine-in. I'm always afraid of annoying proprietors. But Jeff was great. The pizza was great. My only complaint is the booths. A table that could fit 8 people had booth seats for 4. My kids were so tired and sleepy no one complained much at the time. Thank you Jesus. I wouldn't call this place kid-friendly. But Jeff was friendly to my kids. I'm truly grateful. Sad, the elderly woman at the ice cream store - Green Something - seemed annoyed about just scooping ice cream.

It was late and we had finally gotten to our hotel. We were hungry. Everywhere was closed or closing. I called Gem to see if by chance they were still serving. A very pleasant woman took my call and assured me they would at the very least “throw some pizzas” in for us. We got there and everything was fantastic. The facility, the staff, the atmosphere, EVERYTHING. They offered us the full menu even though it was after the food service time. We order pizzas and man were we impressed. These are not typical frozen bar pizzas, these are hand made, delicious and huge. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Gem for going the extra mile and feeding two race car teams and their kids so late.

Update on 2nd visit: went again and pizza did not disappoint at all and we loved the food and the atmosphere. Love the sausage and homemade deep dish crust, but i really want to try the thin crust, but they said they dont make that, its purchased, which i think is a big miss in my opinion. I will say our bartender/server was not very friendly or attentive, maybe she was having a bad day, but we felt like we didnt even exist. I will try again, hope our server is having a better day and I still highly recommend for their pizza! First visit: Great pizza, excellent sausage! Server was outstanding, we will be back!

Best cheese breadsticks and pizza I've ever had. Server's were awesome. They were pretty busy with a large rehearsal dinner while we were there and did a great job keeping up with everything.

We stopped in for lunch because the pictures of the food online looked good. It tasted good too! We all had different entrees and they were all terrific. Way to go Gem City Saloon!

Best pizza in Wisconsin! Staff is awesome! Menu is kinda limited however, staff go out of their way to satisfy how you try to customize their menu choices. It's my go-to restaurant! Owner is genuinely interested in making sure your experience is awesome!

Food was wonderful as always however the server Conner was not great. He needs a lot more training if he is going to keep up in a fast passed establishment. We ordered pretty promptly at a time that was not busy yet. We waited at least 45 mins for my small pizza. 20 mins passed and our 2 burgers were still not out. We went to the bar to find out what was going on and then he brought both burgers (not hot) out aswell as the order for the table behind us....who sat down a good 20 mins after we had even ordered. People that came in after us were receiving their food and leave before we even got our full order. Jeff made things right. We will definitely be back bc the food is great, but Conner needs a lot more training before more customers leave unhappy.

Got mozzarella sticks and a small pizza. Talk about toppings galore they load you up. Pizza is one of the best I have ver had. My only complaint is that the sauce on the pizza just didn’t seem to be there. Next time I will just have to Oder extra sauce for it. Service was perfect.

Annual pilgrimage to the bar with the best pizza in the state. Always welcoming, always accommodating, even for our large group at short notice. If you're in the area, check this place out and try the pizza, you won't be disappointed!

The food is amazingly brilliant! The staff is extraordinary!!! When we went they were overrun with customers and to go orders, appeared to be short staffed and still rocked it!!!! Great place, great food, great atmosphere. Go for the pizza, stay for the fun!
