Very cool place to chill. There are places to sit where you can just chill by enjoying the gangetic view with cool windy weather.

Nice place to leisure after evening.

This is an old place beside river Ganges near Sakher Bazar. This is known for observing riverside rituals and immersion of hindu deities, such as Durga idol. A couple of years ago, the local municipality has renovated this place with good sitting arrangements, lights and pavements, and since then it has become an attractive evening spot for local nature lovers and elderly people, for fresh Ganges breeze. Beside this ghat, a local fair ground is also located which adds more visibility to this place. The only negative point of this place is: it is not cleaned regularly which makes the front pavement near river a shabby one. Moreover, there is a 3 storied flat just beside this Ganges ghat which may cause accident any day. Since the soil beside any river is quite soft, permission of constructing such a high rise beside this ghat was an improper decision taken by the local municipality.

Great place to spend some time..be it alone..with friends..partner.. any criteria... the ambience is pretty peaceful and great

This place located at Bhadrakali, Uttarpara. It's a very popular Ghat at Uttarpara. Lots of people comes here everyday with there family. It's open 24 hours. Feel the nature & fresh air from here. You just love this place.

Nice bank on the bank of river Ganga. But very dirty place. Clean and some public utilities will attract more visitors.

Space to park cycle. Very spacious, nice crowd and great view. Cleanliness is maintained. Overall a great place to visit and spend time with your friends or family.

This Ganga ghat is very open and good and there is also seating area here. The Ganga ghat has railings around it so there is no danger of falling

Nice place but dirty

A good place to chill out and relax by the Ganges. I often visit the ghat to sit and enjoy the cool breeze of the river. The ghat is usually less crowded than the Doltala Ghat. I bet the skies look gorgeous on a full moon night from the Ghat. The Bally bridge too looks beautiful from the Ghat, something similar to fairy lights hanging atop the river. However, reading a book here is quite a struggle here unless you are visiting in the mid-afternoon when the Ghat is mostly empty. Sakherbazar Ganga Ghat is my gateway to connect with nature in an otherwise over-populated, urban jungle - Uttarpara.

Beautiful place to visit.

After dol-purnima a mela(fair) held in here for couple of week on that fair you can have food, rides and some groceries shop it was good experience..

This is a nice place to spend the evening time. You will love the breeze, river and sunset. The local road side boys are Ill mannered and rude with couples. Avoid them and spend your good time

Ofcourse it's one of the best place to hangout in Uttarpara if you're trying to spend your evening in a good way
