Very cute little place. Cozy and nice music. Close to the cathedral and its all good. Food is delicious and worth it. We searched for a good paella restaurant and was not disappointed. Very tasty and beautiful. Did not take the usual 30min to make it though, it came 15min after order. Im not sure how, paella takes minimum 25min to make from scratch. Anyway, I recommend this place

Very tasty dishes with a reasonable price. We particularly loved the paella. The service is very good as well. However they charged us 10% service charge which is not a typical practice in Barcelona. They did so only because we are tourists!

On out last night we made it our mission to have the best paella in Barcelona. Very happy to say we found it! Also, the ham croquettes are the best I've ever tried. Unexpected find!

Great food, great price, amazing service! I went for lunch and got the day menu. For 14 euro I got a starter dish, a main dish, a drink, bread and dessert. The quality of the food was great. My favorite was the fideua, a typical fish from the region similar to paella. Would definitely recommend this place.

Brilliant place in amazing El Born district of Barcelona. Great local food with a very friendly service. Both tapas and main courses are excellent and to complete your meal it's a good choice to have house wine or sangria. Also considering favorable prices it a restaurant really worth visiting.

Best veggie paella I've ever had. (Ok so I've had paella like three times in my life and first time in Spain itself). But still. Gorgeous. Paired that with a delicious sangri and some tapas. Highly recommend. Not expensive and can get paella for Uno persona. Staff are lovely and even provided chargers and free WiFi. Listened to old school songs the whole time. Loved it. Looking forward for a post-meal walk to the beach to catch the sunset.

가지마세요 시간 아까워요 1. I’ve been in eu for five years, and first time ever to see a PRE-TAX PRICE on the menu. I only realized that after i saw the check, and they claimed that they put a “hand-written” warning on the menu about the 10% extra tax lol, which is very unnoticeable. almost felt like being in the states to see those extra tax :) It’s not about the extra money that i had to pay, but it’s more about the bad feeling that i got ripped off, especially for the fact that it was my last meal in spain 2. The seafood tapas is wayyyyyy tooooo small in size, like smaller than my hand, and i’m a 5’ 2” girl. it’s ridiculous given its price - 8. we ordered two, and both were like that. 3. The service was bad. We ordered fried small squid, and they gave us grilled squid. We ordered one drink, and the server brought two. 4. Food was just average touristic place lv. Not worth time and money 5. Oh, I almost forgot to add, but their home made salad rarely has any dressing except a slight hint of olive oil :) We were too tired to complain, but this was the worst meal we had during our three weeks trip

Why am I sharing an empty plate of food in a photo? Because the food was so so good I was too busy eating it and forgot to take a picture. So you'll just have to trust me. Very reasonably priced, fantastic flavours, good service. I ordered the plate of anchovies and plate of asparagus (highly recommend munching together super tasty), followed by the delicious paella. My tummy is satisfied and if I had more time I would definitely come back again. Mencanta! Muchas gracias Bar Rodrigo ❤️

There are SO MANY fine tapas restaurants in the Gothic Quarter, but nothing hits home like Bar Rodrigo. You feel warm and at home as soon you walk in with extremely friendly and attentive staff (which is refreshing after being treated so poorly and no service at all after 30 mins from Sagardi’s across the street). Gambas Ajillo is incredible with confit garlic and red chilis. Paella is fantastic, roasted veggies charred well, and white sangria properly fruity and flavorful.

Loved the paella marisco! We ordered good for 2 pax and it was more tha. What we can eat! Delicious, along with the baby octopus and sangria!

Definitely my favourite restaurant in Barcelona. Every time when I'm in the city, that is obligatory point, and I take there all my friends. Delicious food - my favourire paella de marisco and various tapas, the best sangria de cava and what is most important - fantastic, family atmosphere.

Service was good while they were quiet, but when busy the service turned poor and slow. Food was tasty and a great portion of paella for 1 person. There is a 10% cost added on the bill that isn’t mentioned clearly (or at all?) on the menu.

Hola Solo travelers. The restaurant serves delicious and authentic paella for one. In fact, there was another solo traveler enjoying paella as well. I ordered the traditional seafood paella 20-30 minutes to prepare. Per the host, if you enjoy the seafood paella, he recommends the seafood paella with black rice. Unfortunately I leave to Madrid tomorrow, therefore I won't have an opportunity to try it this trip. Apparently, the Sangria is also recommended.

Amazing seafood paella (noodle version) without shells!! This is probably the best value and the most tasty paella dish we have tried so far in Barcelona. They cooked it right there and my husband and I absolutely loved it. We highly recommend it!!

Surprised to find a place with good food in a touristy place - but the Grilled pork was divine; you can taste the smokiness from it's grilling, and it was cooked just right. The Gambas Al Ajillo had fairly sized prawns in garlicky olive oil with a hint of spice. the crema catalan was creamy and not too sweet, and we loved the burnt sugar on top.

We were a group of four, we order tapas (fried anchovies, green peppers, prawns, chicken wings) All were very good except the prawns , it was alright. Ordered paellas and sangria. Food is really good. We really liked their service and food. Highly recommended.

Delicious food!! Paella mixta is a very delicious dish, all the times I've been there, I ordered it. Good prices as well. Great staff, very attentive and nice.

Best paella ever!! Super authentic tasting with its flavor and texture. I seen the bar guy make the sangria and it was as it looked, amazing. Everything here is great and delicious, highly recommended for a real cultural taste 😋

So delicious! The Paella was for 5 people and it was more than enough! We even had leftovers for more than 1 person left! The price was also only 11€ pp for this huge amount of food! Would definitely go there again!
