The
Pros:
The
location
is
fantastic
for
Central
Barcelona
and
walking
distance
or
a
short
metro
ride
to
many
attractions.
The
hotel
is
a
historic
building
and
you
can
imagine
it
being
quite
something
back
in
the
day.
The
service
was
pretty
standard,
not
particularly
good
but
not
bad
either.
We
had
a
twin
room
and
the
size
was
fair
for
Barcelona.
Beds
were
comfy
and
the
cleaning
service
was
good,
we
particularly
liked
how
they
stocked
up
the
Rituals
toiletries
every
day.
The
bathroom
had
clearly
been
refurbished
and
was
a
great
size
for
the
two
of
us
-
nice
to
have
your
own
sink
and
a
powerful
shower.
The
Cons:
The
main
bedroom
however
was
in
great
need
of
refurbishment.
It
was
clean
but
everything
was
quite
dated.
Also,
I
think
this
is
a
no
smoking
hotel
however
after
a
five
night
stay
my
clothes
(clean
ones,
that
had
been
hung
in
the
wardrobe
the
whole
time)
smelt
of
stale
smoke,
which
can
only
have
come
from
the
room
itself.
As
mentioned
by
others,
power
points
are
inconveniently
placed
and
some
only
work
if
you
have
the
lights
switched
on.
The
WiFi
isn't
strong
enough
to
work
on.
The
walls
are
paper
thin,
as
we
found
when
our
neighbours
decided
to
crank
up
their
music.
The
pool
is
nice
but
there
are
just
a
few
deckchairs
and
no
loungers.
The
key
situation
is
ridiculous.
Having
to
leave
the
key
each
time
you
exit
the
hotel
is
just
tedious
and
means
extra
admin
if
you're
not
permanently
attached
to
whoever
you're
sharing
a
room
with.
Overall
our
stay
was
fine
but
I
wouldn't
stay
here
again
for
these
reasons,
as
you
can
get
more
for
your
money
in
the
vicinity.
