My flight got delayed and I wasn't able to arrive before the reception closed at 11:30pm and couldn't respond to their email. When I went to check in the next day, they said they had canceled my reservation and couldn't get a refund even though I had booked for 4 nights. Apparently, they do this all the time on different hotel platforms. They are gaming the reservation systems, especially when there's a big event in Barcelona. They say that they do this because the fees that they get charged are high. I've never posted a negative review before. But this situation has gotten me so angry that I will post in every single platform there is, because there's something morally wrong about this hostel's business practices. Please do not book at this place. They are very immoral, money-driven, and do not care about their customers at all.

First i need to start off by saying, there is no privacy in this hostels. The workers just randomly came into the room and started cleaning while we where sleeping in underwear like it couldnt wait till later and then also started telling us things like if we please could hurry cause they gotta clean? Like we aren’t paying to stay in that room. Also the staff (the indian guy) was giving so much attitude the whole time we were there from the start even when asked the simplest question. My towel was dirty it had some red stains and the receptionist said it was colour. The rooms where very cold we all came back home sick. The shower room was very small and uncomfortable. I don’t recommend this hostel you can find much better for this price. You did not feel like a welcome guest there.

Not a great place to stay in my opinion. No privacy in the rooms and no AC. There is a lot of black mold in the showers and it was not a very social hostel. Also it was super dark everywhere with no proper lights.

Amazing environment experience and cost! Cozy comfy and charming place! Breakfast is very very nice and we can cook as well if we want, they provide everything! During the afternoon they have a mini coffee break, I really loved this place! 5 stars for short trips!

Great hostel. Nice rooms and design. Staff was very friendly and with good English. Only thing is that there are no single/double rooms, only mixed rooms. If you want some intimacy with your spouse/girlfriend, better look elsewhere.

I have stayed here for 9 nights, so I think I can say my fair experience. In overall, I was satisfied, especialy due to the location. However, I would probably choose different accommodation for the next time. I found some probably bedbug even I know they were cleaning all spot twice per day. I appriciate free Sangria and snacks.

A very clean petite hostel with very friendly employees. The kitchen and the small livingroom are clean too. One can leave and come back any time because of the numberlock at the main door. And there is always someone at the reception. I really felt comfortable. It is very central and easy to find. About five minutes away by foot is the Place Catalunya.

It's a long time ago when I visited Barcelona in 2016 und stayed at the Don Moustache Hostel. It was a very beautiful place to be. Friendly staff and a really cleaned up hostel. Good accommodation for discovering the city.

Gets the job done but: Showers are dirty and close at 23.30. The common areas are often occupied by the romantic effusions of the owners until 23.30 when they are closed. Position is very good. Beds are sturdy and comfortable. Locks for lockers are provided with a 10€ deposit.

Staff is super nice, but showers are closed from 23:30 to 8:00, I don't understand how that is even legal. Hygienic facilities should be available at all times. And then there is black mold everywhere.
