We stayed at one of the three bedroom apartments, and found no problems -- everything was pretty clean and clear, the other guests were quiet enough to be almost non-existent, and the staff was very pleasant and always tried to help. The apartment kitchen was a very welcome addition that came in handy, it was also well-equipped and clean. We did not attend any of the community events organized by the staff (tours etc), but it was kind of nice to see that they existed. The place is a 5-minute walk from the metro and was pretty easy to find and reach. As a whole the hostel was a great fit for our 4-day vacation in Barcelona, and it's a great cost-benefit place that I wholeheartedly recommend :)

We had to ask the staff for two nights in a row to ask other guests to keep it down, since they had music on and their answer was a simple “no, until 3 am”, but they kept going until 5 am. Ironically they turn your lights off from reception at 11 am for other guests’ good sleep. The premises are clean, but they are very inconsiderate with the noise, so if you need sleep quality simply stay somewhere else.

It's my first time in Barcelona and it's makes amazing by Giovanni and other staff in my two nights stay. They were truly amazing, kind and very much helpful during my stay. The place has vibrant colors and living area including skating room and fully equipped kitchen, and it's feel just like home and secure. I'll be looking forward to staying with you guys again. Thank you very much for your hospitality 💪.

This hostel was great and had everything you look for! The location is perfect, close to the metro and in walking distance to many amazing sights, and because the hostel is clean and under 24 hour security, I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay there. The staff are super kind and make you feel welcome which is important for a solo traveller like myself. If you want to, you can join the staff and others staying at the hostel for dinner in the common area, which is a great way to meet new people, and the head out to a bar and club of the hostels choice with a staff leading where to go. On the nights I went out the staff leading us was Simon, and he was super fun and made sure everyone had a great night! I would highly recommend staying at this hostel if you are planning on visiting Barcelona!

This place was great. I stayed in a private apartment with my friends and the beds as well as the kitchen and living room were great. Staff was super friendly too. Hi Zdravko!! The only thing is that it’s a little far from the center. We were also all minors but with parental authorization we stayed there no problem.

I have stayed for 4 days there. The staff is friendly. The vibe in the hostel is so good. They give you a card to open your locker and the door. You feel secure. Being secure is so important when you stay in the hostel. I have met so many people there. Rooms and bathrooms are being cleaned daily. It is always clean. It is not in the city center but the area is quiet. There are lots of pastry shops around for breakfast as well. Thank you guys. If I go to Barcelona again, I will stay there.

I would recommend this hostel to every single traveler out there. The common area is incredibly cool, providing the perfect atmosphere to connect with fellow guests and all the staff members are very nice. When I arrived, exhausted after a long travel, luck was on my side as Adam was manning the reception. He noticed that I was really tired and kindly offered to help with my heavy backpack. He generously shared with me hidden gems and delightful local restaurants serving authentic cuisine. He even recommended me to join one of the hostel's events, and it turned out to be an absolute blast. Overall, my experience with the hostel was fantastic, thanks in no small part to Adam's exceptional service. I'm already thinking about returning in the future, given the wonderful memories I've made. The value for the money is truly unbeatable.

The hostel was great, it was clean, spacious, had a friendly / welcoming vibe and fun. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We even had a free upgrade to a 4 room dorm in an apartment which was wonderful! The rooms are very clean and a locker is provided with a lock / key (card scanner) which is very convenient. They have plenty of activities here making it the perfect place to come to if you are alone. They also have dinner and breakfast available at a very good price. You can hire a towel at the reception, and the room key is a 10€ deposit on arrival. There is someone at the reception 24/7 which was great for late/ early check-in or any emergencies that could occur. There is a nice terrace and is in fact a half pipe in the common area. There is a grocery store and restaurants within 5 minutes walking and the train station is also 4 min walking. Doesn't feel like you are too far away from the city centre. All In all I definitely recommend you stay at this hostel :)

Had a great experience here through and through. The location of the hostel is really good, as it seems like you can get everywhere in the city easily. Also, even though the overall atmosphere is amazing, what really impressed me was the employees. All of them were super nice, especially Ceci, Sara, Eli, Nahuel, and Arianne. They were so friendly that it felt like I'd known them for a long time. Can't wait to be back!

Honestly, we loved our time in Barcelona and in our hostel. The staff is super cooperative, the vibe is extremely good and you feel relaxed and at ease. We ran upto the staff for all sorts of questions regarding travelling and they were more than happy and willing to help. If we come back to this city, then this is the place we will stay again it

Book it. See if you can get a private room in one of the three bed apartments. Briliant staff, fab location, clean, quiet ... cannot rate this highly enough. 2 minute walk to metro stops. About 1.5km walk from La Sagrada

I don’t understand how this hostel has such great reviews here and in booking. I booked through their website as it seemed cheaper and they stated “taxes included in the price”. When I got there taxes were in fact not included in the price - they asked me to also pay city tax. While I understand that money is not for them blabla you should still always mention it when booking! Most of the staff was friendly yes, but the organization is not the best. First the room to leave your bags in is locked but they give the key to anyone who walks in basically and nobody checks if someone is maybe going through other peoples bags….They did let me check in a little bit early when the rooms were cleaned which was nice, and also you get to choose a bed if there is several open. It’s also nice that the locker can be opened with your keycard to the room. But don’t know how they managed to mess up the lockers and bed numbers (saw that happening to several people). On top of that the mattress feels very old and the bed makes noise when you turn. The two stars are for the nice kitchen and good location.

I’ve been staying in hostels all over Europe for the past 3 years, since I started traveling by myself. I can say, without a doubt, that St.Jordy Sagrada Familia is on my top 3! The staff is extremely friendly and you can easily meet nice and interesting people. Besides, the rooms are in great condition and the toilets are clean! Lastly I want to say that Vitoria, the manager has been doing an outstanding job! She deals very good with unexpected situations and takes into account the customers needs. I’m happy that she is representing our country in St.Jordi :)

Staying at this hotel has easily been the most unique, enjoyable, and safe experience in all of my Europe travel. The location is perfect, very central and just walking distance from the metro and other landmarks. The beds and rooms are well kept and clean. Express checkout was a life saver because of how quick and easy it was. I have stayed here three separate times now and I can confidently say that I look forward to returning to Barcelona simply to stay at this hostel. The friendly staff and the nightly bar/club crawl makes the hostel unlike any other. Everyone is very inclusive and welcoming, so it is very easy for solo travelers like me to meet new people and feel comfortable. But my heart goes out to all the staff, specifically Rony, Sam, and Chloe, who are the coolest djs and musicians I’ve met!! Thank you to everyone who has made my travels memorable and special, love you guys!

Amazing hostel. Alma is the best hostel worker on the planet - truly the best. Without her, would’ve left early. Never met a better hostel worker ever and I have stayed in thousands of hostels. As a matter of fact, she motivated me to leave university and commit to a life of travel and wonder. She changed my life and I can’t thank her enough.

Defintely a place to remember, thanks for the great time! Clean and homely atmosphere and a supurb staff! In particular huge thanks to Alma for cooking and being a such a fun and lively woman! See ya! A little tip: Sign up at the reception for dinner and go with the hostel to the night activities: pub and club visit. You won't regret it. :)

Probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in! It was super clean (I saw people cleaning multiple times!!) and comfortable, the staff was very friendly at all times and the breakfast was also great, although simple. It is also very well located, just a few minutes walking from the Sagrada Familia and with a bus stop and metro station in the area.

  • 5/5 Gina G. 11 months ago on Google
Really clean and very kind staff! The only issue for me was that the sign on our door said to leave the room empty between 1 and 2 pm for cleaning, but the cleaners always came earlier and I felt bad for being in their way. I wish I knew consistently when to expect them. Also, some of the soap dispensers were not refilled and some shower drains were clogged. Very minor inconveniences overall- I had an amazing stay and there is so much that the staff offer when it comes to resources and events. Definitely take advantage of the nights out if you stay here- meeting people is very fun!

It was a fine hostel, decently priced and cheaper than other options. I'm never a huge fan of "take you to club" experiences though, especially when it was so obviously not a local club but instead a tourist trap club with ridiculously expensive drinks. The one male hostel guide during the club experience was very rude as well, herding us like sheep, not interacting with us, and even leaving the a person behind *from our hostel* at the first bar after they had a seizure and were still recovering. It was immature and irresponsible. You could definitely find better & more authentic hostel experiences elsewhere in Barcelona.

I loved this place. It has one of the best atmospheres in a hostel I have ever seen, both the staff and the people staying here are super friendly. The decor and facilities are great. I hope I can stay longer next time!

Cami and Bambu were amazing hostel hosts! They showed us around town and they guided us through Barcelona at night! We did the bar crawl for 2 nights and we started at a bar and ended at a club with no cover cause we were covered by the hostel hosts! We also got a private room which was basically an apartment!!! You get your own bath and kitchen and dedicated washer! It was basically your own condo!!

  • 5/5 Mikael K. 9 months ago on Google
Very good hostel. Good location, it's between two metro stations (5 minutes walk). Great staff and good breakfast. Luckily I was put randomly in a private room in the apartments, and it was amazing.

I stayed here in 2018, I really loved the friendly staff, clean private room in a very clean and quiet apartment. Looking forward to staying there on my next BCN visit.

Wonderful Hostel. Clean rooms, good service, I would recommend it 100% or come back. Many activities, you have can have breakfast or dinner. You can go out every night and party with people from the hostel. I felt very safe and had no problems at all. Special thanks to Gabriel and to the team for making this stay memorable.

An amazing place to stay. The people there are really nice, and it is a great way to meet new people from around the world. Staying there is an experience in itself. The staff there are really nice. Special mention to Leona, a really fun person to hang out with, who accompanied us on our fun filled evenings. The idea of taking people out in the evenings daily, is a novel one indeed.

Very cool skateboarding theme for the hostel, definitely one of its kind. Mini ramp is sweet but there is no ventilation so it gets really warm in there really quickly, and there is also one section where the wood is sinking in a bit, but that's just another challenge to overcome! I stayed in a 4-bed dorm and it felt a little cramped, also the bathroom and shower felt old. Staff was very nice though. I would definitely return just for the cool skateboarding vibe!

I was here in 2016, so this review is a bit late. The hostel was clean, cheap, in a convenient location, and had great visitors and staff! We had the option to pay a few Euros each night and the staff made everyone who contributed dinner. We also had the staff take us out to various bars/clubs every night. For the low price I payed to stay here (private room for my brother and me), I would definitely recommend others give them a try. Perhaps I'll be back soon, Canada is cold this time of year :)

This place is a great place for young travelers. Amazing staff with great energy. They build an atmosphere of fun. A delicious family dinner is cooked every night (by the fabulous Roberto and fantastic Alma), which is a great way to meet people and have a budget-friendly meal. Extra special features: SKATE PARK within the hostel, unique seating, group pub crawl every night, and some of the coolest common rooms I've ever seen. Would recommend!

I like all things about this hostel. The staff the food and the parties are so much fun and it is very clean. Special thanks to Alma and Cami they are the nicest people and just made my night perfect. I would definitely come back. I really enjoyed the paella they cooked it was so delicious and their homemade sangria as well. I love this hostel and the people I met if you come the Barcelona stay at this hostel and you’re gonna have the best time with the party hosts Alma and Cami!!

My first time in Barcelona and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful,. They really made me feel like a part of the family. It is so much more than a hostel, too hard to describe in words, you really have to go and see, but I would recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking to connect with people and get the real feel of Barcelona. Roberto especially was a great staff member who uplifted the team spirit of the hostel. Also a honorable mention would be Victor who made sure that the big group felt safe, provided us with experienced tour of the city when we went out and was generally a positive influence as a whole.

  • 5/5 Alexander R. 7 months ago on Google
Good location, 4 min walk from metro line. Very social. Alma was a great bar crawl host. She had great energy and made sure everyone had a great time. Herding 2 dozen half drunk travelers is not easy and she did a great job and made sure everyone made it safely

  • 5/5 Maria Diaz L. 2 years ago on Google
Great personnel! The place was tidy the whole time. Only thing missing was the possibility of meeting other guests but it's completely understandable given the COVID situation. Still... Pretty good location and price/benefit rapport 👍

  • 2/5 roddy l. 1 year ago on Google
Good location however, the staff were unable to fix our air conditioning throughout our entire stay so the room was very hot. We were overall very underwhelmed with the hostel considering the price we paid

  • 5/5 Brianna T. 2 years ago on Google
I would die for the people who work at Sant Jordi, they were beyond kind, uplifting and genuinely such a fun group of people. Leaving was extremely difficult, but I know I will see them again at some point!!! Cheers to Emma, Joan and Bruno. Also my room of 4 was super clean and the common area was really cool and spacious! I highly recommend this hostel if you want to have a great time and also sleep like a baby🦋

The staff here are BRUTAL! After putting in hearty shifts at Primavera the night before, we would be drifting off into beautiful, deep sleeps in the wee hours of the morning when a staff member would come in and rip open the curtains at 9/10am. Punishing stuff. One particular morning the skirmish happened 3 times in a row, they would open and we would close again, rinse and repeat. It’s not like they did anything else in the room either, they would just open the curtains and leave! As we were also unlucky enough to book the room that was based in the heart of the sun, we had to ask every night for the staff to turn up the AC in our room to no avail. It also didn’t help that the window was always locked during the evening. One day I placed my shoes just outside the window to dry and when I came back to collect them, the staff had locked the window shut. When I asked the staff if I could get my shoes back they seemed in no real hurry, as I had to mosey around for about 20 minutes until they were ready to come up and unlock the window for me. Not the biggest deal but they were my shoes and that doesn’t mean nothing. To be honest all these issues were pretty funny but considering what we paid for the hostel we were left pretty disappointed :(

Cool Hostel Perfect for young people. Drinking games are played every evening and you don't have to pay for the drinks. You have the possibility to go to a bar after that and visit a nightclub where you have free entry as a hostel guest. Would recommend👍🏻

It was such an amazing stay. It is such a pity that I stayed for only one night. There were two absolutely amazing staffs, Mario, and Martin from another Sant Jordi Hostel that I met at the club. Thank you for amazing memories!!

I havent been in many hostels, so i was a bit skeptical, but I saw many good reviews for this one, so i thought I's give it a try, and it was worth it. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was clean, the sheets smelled amazing, the staff super nice, the have a relaxing area, wich looks bomb. I will definetely come again. 🖤

We stayed at this hostel! It was in a great location. The staff was so nice and accommodating to our different check in time. Overall would highly recommend to anyone in Barcelona!

Do NOT trust this hostel to keep your reservation. We booked months ago a double for Primavera Sound. Yesterday, they mailed me that my card used for the booking was getting declined and to try a new one. Fine. It always worked, but ok. I used my American Express instead. Declined again by the hostel. I got my friend to use his mastercard. This time they canceled our booking directly, again with the card excuse. These are all cards that we use DAILY. They work fine. They just wanted to cancel our reservation we made for a reasonable price to re-book it to someone that would pay three times as much (because of the festival).

Great atmosphere at this hostel - staff are friendly and lively, and run daily events. One keycard for both door and an electronic locker which is highly convenient. Beds don’t have a privacy curtain or anything but the room stayed cool and there’s a great shared kitchen lounge area.

Best hostel i have been to! Very clean, everyone is trustworthy (all the others in my room left their things out and nothing ever got stolen) Staff are charming, kitchen facilities are excellent. (Two full length fridges and one full length freezer)

  • 5/5 Mogens K. 1 year ago on Google
The hostel had it all, location, great staff, a lot of common things to do like a waking tour every day, a dinner where you eat together with staff and other hostels guest and a pub/disco every night, meaning you do to a pub and disco and have free entrance to these. I love this hostel! Even though I was not always attending the common things, I felt appreciated! And had fun with guest and staff. They clan everyday and extra for the corona, you see that every time, the room was nice and bed and bath too, I can’t find anything bad about this hostel other then I leave tonight!! :D

Stayed for 3 days in Sept 2021. Well kept and organized. Super friendly crew. Nice dine out area. Skate anywhere. I didnt make a bad decision.

Stayed for 2 weeks while searching for an apartment and really enjoyed it! Staff was really nice, rooms and facilities were all clean and organized! The atmosphere wasn't the biggest party vibe as guests and staff are all pretty mellow. However the communal space is a bit too loud to get work done or have an online class, which I did have to do unfortunately. Would recommend this hostel and the Sant Jordis Rock Palace any day. Thanks for having me for so long!

Just one word to describe this place, AMAZING. I will truly and highly recommend this hostel. The staff was excellent. Facilities extremely clean and definitely good and friendly environment with loads of good vibes. Location just incredible, really close to Sagrada Familia plus well connected with metro and bus transportation. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for your professional attention and treatment.

Wonderful. Best hostel ever! Super cool and clean place. Fully equipped kitchen, great showers and comfy beds. The common areas are nice and there is a nice mood. The staff is super cool and helpful. Affordable meals offered and entertainment events too. It’s a good deal. Loved this place

Sant Jordi segrada família hostel is definitely one in the best in the city! I’ve stayed at quite a few hostels in Barcelona and definitely recommend this one. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful! There is also a full kitchen that guests can use as well as prepared dinners! Also definitely recommend the pub crawls! The hostel has a artsy and cozy feel as well! 100% recommend!

  • 4/5 Irene C. 1 year ago on Google
Very clean!! The rooms were cleaned daily. The bathrooms sanitized nightly. The kitchen was constantly cleaned and sanitized. The dishes were also sanitized before they were put back in the cupboard in case someone didn't wash their own dishes properly. It is close walk to la Sagrada Familia and to several metro stations.

The 9 days vacation in Barcelona and especially this hostel were great. The location is great and so is the staff as well. Especially Vicky, Fernando, Nicola (really nice guy) and Frida (from Sweden). I wish them all the best and cool guest :) See you next year again!
