The rooms are small and the AC has only 3 settings. The room never really cooled off to our liking. One pillow per bed. No coffee or tea setup in the room. Bare minimum/cheap toiletries provided. The hotel is made to seem like an upscale place in the lobby but it's not. I was expecting more for the price. Good location but I wouldn't stay here again.

Good hotel. Very clean and tidy. Well situated near city center, tourist attractions, shopping and close to the top of La Ramblas. We asked for a quiet room towards the back of the hotel. Comfortable beds. Modern, spacious en-suite bathroom with tub and shower. Flat screen TV ---- but with no English language news channels. Good elevators. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Spacious, clean & tidy breakfast room and bar. Good selection of food for breakfast. Our only small complaint: the "hot" breakfast was not hot. The scrambled eggs, sausages, etc were cold. However, good selection of fruit, cheese, breads, pastries, juices, yogurt, ham, etc. Good coffee.

Good hotel located near plaza Cataluña, but away from the crowds a couple of blocks. Rooms and staff were great, breakfast was very complete and recommended. I would stay here if you want value for your money.

When I visit Barcelona every summer on occasion of Rock Fest Barcelona (except for Pandemic), as a woman who travel alone, I always prefer to stay at Room 703 at Hotel HHC Taber because of its perfect location as well as its amazing, helpful, friendly staff and clean/comfortable rooms. Every time, I feel myself safe and at home. This year, I was there between 27 June and 9 July 2022. Everything was perfect as usual <3 Thanks for everything <3

Hcc Taber hotel has perfect location, just 3-min away from passeig de Gracia merto station. But instead of metro you can walk around the city as a lot is landmarks are nearby! The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast also was delicious!!! Finally the staff was very polite and willing to give us more information about the city. Fully recommend.

We stayed in this hotel last week. Everything was fine. The behavior of the staff was friendly. We even arrived a little early to check in, but our room was ready. Access to attractions, downtown, shops, and of course public transportation was all easy. The room, bathroom and shower were completely tidy. We had a good stay and to be honest, as a 3-star hotel, it was above our expectations and we will come back again. I definitely recommend there...

That was the worst place we have ever had. They show prices then They add taxes and amounts never seen ! Even They charge for the drinks They puy in the mini bar, 3.4 euros for a bottle of water, these are legal thieves !

I have been to many hotels, none of them are like this, the receptionist is very bad, I am not Spanish, I went to this hotel to find a friend of mine, I do not have a passport, but I have a passport photo, I will show the photo to the staff , and told her that she can make copies, and asked my friend to call the front desk staff. The staff insisted on asking me to send my passport to the mailbox. I can't confirm whether she will use my photo for other purposes. Why? Can't deal with problems humanely,

We stayed in this hotel in May 2022. Will never be back. Woke up in the morning after our first night to the bed completely covered in ants- running around all over the bed!! Absolutely disgusting. We took a video and brought it straight to reception, staff kindly gave us a new room and a bottle of procescco but I couldn’t shake the feeling that every morning there would be ants again. Location is excellent, but very run down.

GREAT LOCATION, HOTEL STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND NICE!!! WALKED TO A FLAMENCO SHOW AT CITY HALL THEATER. ROOM WAS LARGE AND MODERN BATHROOM. VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR.

Everything was fine except two things, our rom was not ready at 13:40 (at reception we asked to arrive in one hour) so we left bags and went for lunch. Second, it is general format of three beds rooms, there are no privacy for parents, you almost have a separate room for the third bed but still no door or something. So if our child go to sleep we cannot turn on tv for example. Generally it is hard to find normal 3 beds room and your hotel has the closest to 2 rooms apartments so worth to add some door or curtain. Still we liked everything else, location, breakfast end the rest. Thanks.

The hotel was clean and staff were great. The location of the hotel couldn’t have been more perfect. It is close to the metro and next to casa batlo. Walking distance to casa Mila, the shopping streets pg de gracia, plaza catalunya and Barcelona cathedral. I stayed here for vacation and was near everything.

My fiance and I were so impressed with the accommodations of this hotel for the price point we booked it for. The room was extremely spacious for a European hotel with a very comfortable bathroom. Everything was as advertised. The room was extremely clean and the staff was very helpful. We would recommend the HCC family of hotels to anyone traveling to Barcelona from the US!

Room and location of hotel were good and room service quick. Only negative experience is when I wanted to extend my three night visit by one more day due to changes in my flight then the hotel considered that as a new booking and as such they would only accept three new nights instead of just one additional that I needed. Luckily I found plenty of similar hotels close by that accepted a guest for only one night.

Excellent location, comfortable matresses, tiny rooms, decent breakfast, no problem witm 3am check-in; however, very uncomfortable episode of being stuck in the lift for over an hour and the reception was not communicating with us at all, we only spoke to the lift service (The receptionist came once, when we rang the alarm, she asked how many people there were and said that she will call the lift service. Did she come back to tell us if/when the lift service was coming? No. Asking if all 5 of us were ok? No. Offering water or an apology when we were freed? No.)

Very nice hotel. Clean and modern. The staff very helpful and they knew good english. Breakfast superb with good quality and a lot of options. Business lounge big with open space and an arcade machine.

Outstanding stay at HCC Taber for a week over Christmas 2023. I would wholeheartedly recommend this location to anyone that is reading this review. Excellent location, it's central to everything without being crazy busy and being loud. You can walk to a whole bunch of attractions and multiple subway stations so it's really easy to get around. Also there's lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Walking distance to the airport bus and a supermarket as well. Clean, large and well kept rooms. Noise wasn't too much of an issue except for one night where a bunch of guests came home drunk but once they left the hallway it was quiet again. The staff are excellent, friendly and very accommodating. There wasn't a request that we made that wasn't met with a smile and a prompt response. If you're still reading just go and book your stay here.

The location of the hotel is perfect! The rooms and the facilities they include are good for the money ( although I think it's unacceptable the fact that there is not a toilet brush in the room.) Also, the staff in the reception is very friendly and happy to help. Lastly I should also mention that the safety of the hotel is very good. The only thing that wasn't good in this hotel was the cleanliness. The employee didn't actually care to clean the room, they just wanted to look clean and some times they didn't even sweep the floor. I don't know if somebody checks the rooms after the cleaner, but if there isn't I would suggest to the hotel to have somebody for that job... Overall was we had a good experience in this hotel, considering the money we paid!

This is a very good 3-star hotel. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful; the location is good for tourists (although perhaps a little difficult to find upon initial arrival); the room was clean; the free breakfast did not disappoint either. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel if I were to visit Barcelona again.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at HCC Taber. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and assisted us with booking a taxi to the airport. The room was spacious, clean, and up to date. The air conditioning helped keep us cool in the August heat. We were within walking distance too the majority of locations we wanted to visit. Amazing experience. Really friendly staff who were always there whenever I needed some help or had some questions. Room was neat and every morning they would change all towels and linen. This is actually the only thing I was not entirely happy with because of environmental concerns - still this is just a recommendation from my side, nothing critical :)

Hotel is very clean, the staff was very warmly, kind and helped with everything. The service provided at the front desk and by the cleaning staff was good. The location of the hotel was good and the area felt safer than some other areas in Barcelona. The hotel and room were clean. However, the room was smaller than expected, unlike the pictures in the hotel website and some other people’s reviews. My husband and I could not walk comfortably around the bed with our luggage on the way, even though we were using the closet. The bathroom was also small and had no face towels, but we ended up asking for more towels, which we received without issues.

I made a small mistake on my reservation. Booked the first night which I ended up NOT staying in because of the time difference and I arrived the following day. I realized of the error right after having payed for the entire week of my trip. I did not want to cancel my entire booking so I emailed them and asked them if my first night could be reimbursed. The email reply I received from them was very rude and even I lost my money for the first night, they didn’t even give me a complementary breakfast or did not even bother to make my staying feel better. They kept my money and used my room because I had already emailed them I was not going to arrived on time.

Good location but the rooms are no good. Small, uncomfortable beds. SHOWER set up is very poor. There is no door and it doesn’t drain well, entire bathroom floor gets soaked and slippery after just a 5 minute shower

The hotel was very clean and modern. It is very close to the Center. Easy access to attractions and shopping. Bus stops and metro also in close proximity. The hotel staff was very kind and very helpful! Thank you very much !

No comment. No way I will stay in this hotel for the next visits. There are enough very good options around. The "terrace" for additional charge of 20 euro per night (which is actually a fenced balcony facing the back yard) is out of any adequacy.

The location of the hotel is perfect, at the center of Barcelona minutes away from Rambla de Catalunya , Gaudi Museum and Plaza de Catalunya. The airconditioned room is large and spacious the bathroom is clean and well maintained .On the 8th floor there is a balcony overlooking Barcelona. The dining room on the ground floor is nice and the breakfast is rich. I must mention the courtesy and excellent service of the reception. Recommended !

The stay was okay. The location is excellent, staff are friendly and the room was cleaned well. The room was the big issue. If you want a good night sleep don’t go here (for me anyway). I could hear the taps next door when on, showers when switched on from room above, people speaking in hallways and movement in different areas, the sound proofing is awful. The bed was also not fantastic and toilet very basic. It’s a shame because it’s not the staffs fault but could really do with an uplift. Wont be back while there is 00s of other options.

Good location. Room itself pretty basic. Needed to have coverlet changed due to stains, black out curtain falling down. These things noticed upon entering room at check in. Front desk notified and these issues were resolved. Nothing special about this hotel.

My wife and I stayed two nights for a weekend trip. We got a room with two single beds pushed together, but it did have a beautiful balcony. The room is clean and modern, with plenty of space for our luggage. Housekeeping did a good job of upkeep each day while we were out. Also, the front desk employees were very helpful when our room keys weren't working, and also getting my airline tickets printed out. Last but not least, the location is excellent, being only a few minutes from a train and metro station.

I had a pleasant experience in the Hotel HCC Taber in Barcelona for two days. Everything was neat and clean. The room was big enough for a couple and we even had a small living room. I recommend. The location was good and near metro stations and the bus stops to the airport. Good price and good stay.

Everything was great!! But for us the most important was the staff.! Paula Grespo and Amadou Dioum was just the perfect start and smile for our trip to Spain. There was so helpful and kind and always smiling I love them there are a reason to choose again the hotel. Now about the hotel it was so clean, everyday cleaning the rooms, it was very warm we had an amazing view, it was so close to the center omg I love it. Already watching dates for my next time in Barcelona the city that I love so much. Thank you a lot!! I recommend this hotel 100% but as I said the staff make the difference.
