Pls save your nerves and time - don`t come here So, starting with - receptionist didn`t speak any English, after 10 min of trying to explain her what I need - she decided to use google translate. The room was super old and it was really small room even despite were were choosing 17 m room - this was smaller, bathroom looked aged, AC wasn`t cooling - when I complained on it - I was shown a room with nasty smell and mold in the bathroom and second one - one couple bed despite it was our prtiority to have twin room as room was shared with a work colleague. Btw, on the third pic below its a twin room. Room has no space to move the beds from each other - so cuddling a colleague during the sleep will be the unwanted reality there. Hotel didn`t want for a long time to proceed with cancelling the room (we started cancellation via booking) and were saying - if you don`t like - you can leave in silence, but in that case they would charge us the full amount according to the booking.com policy. After I insisted on the cancellation and with my colleague we were on the line with booking - receptionist asked me to leave the hotel as I was not the guest anymore. But technically we were not cancelled then yet and technically I was still a guest. So rude. If you don`t want the worst business trip or vacation ever possible - just don`t come here.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 5 nights and we had a very pleasant stay. Convenient location, nice view from our room, very kind staff, and comfy beds. Only two complaints: the alarm kept going off in the room next to us nearly every morning at 3/4am, we assume because the person was smoking in the room. Not the hotel’s fault though. Second complaint is that the breakfast was not so impressive/coffee not drinkable at all!

🌟Excellent location🌟. Friendly staff and very good housekeeping. Breakfast area is small and the service is modest so to speak. Rooms have been evidently tarted up and bathrooms are comfortable. 🚫Warning: There are some rooms without a view. They have a window that opens to a narrow shaft instead. Make sure you're not booking one of those.

Absolutely a HORRIBLE experience from the start… we were asked to store our luggage’s in a locker room since check in time was not until 2 pm and we had to put in 2 Euros for each locker that was not working and had to do it 4x. Once we were able to get into our room it was a sauna. The AC was not working and there was a constant rattle sound which they fixed but no AC there after. The room was small and dark and the beds were 2 single coffin beds pushed together. When we turned on the shower water it came out brown. There was no shampoo and conditioner just some gel and the tiny bar of soap. I had to get 6 more soap bars. The towels were very small and the beds were not up to hotel standards. When we complained about having no AC the manager at the front claimed it was due to outside power issues (out of hotel control) and that other guests were experiencing the same problems. The net result is they were not prepared to offer any concession or partial refund. One of the worst hotels we have stayed at. Thankfully it was for only one night but would recommend to others to find somewhere else. The free breakfast was a joke also. Cold cuts, rolls and cereal. No eggs or bacon etc. ********DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.********

Stayed on an upper floor. Not sure who's idea it was to convert the roof but they really need a qualified plumber to check it out. Room smelled awful at night. Won't be going back

Very good location. But that’s all I can say good about this hotel. We booked a room for 4 people. We received a room with 5 beds, a window to the back yard (horrible view, very dirty), everything basic and not very clean. Even if 5 people were supposed to stay in that room, there were only one charging socket close to one bed, another one for the fridge and another one for the TV. So it was impossible for us to charge our phones in the same time, taking in consideration that we were in the room only for a small period of time. The worst thing was that in the room it was very cold!!! We let the receptionist know about this problem and he sent someone to check. After the person checked and realised that the problem can not be solved (the AC was not working) they tried to make us believe that the problem will be solved next morning. I mean, we were supposed to sleep in a cold room without any compensations. We went at the reception and we asked for a different room, even one for 2 people, not 4, but all we wanted was a room in which we were not freezing… They said it is not possible to change the room because the hotel was fully booked. The receptionist was very rude, he did not find any solution for us. So we slept in a cold room. For 3 nights. It would have been better to sleep outside. The only nice person from reception was Marco, who was very kind and he came to our room to bring us more blankets(yes, we had to use 3 blankets or more and it was still cold). Also Marco brought us some food in the room because we were leaving early in the morning and the restaurant was not open. The breakfast was basic, nothing special or delicious. The only good thing was the location, as we were close to everything. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to anyone and I will not come back here :)

We had a 5 night stay. I strongly advise against! I found a very large cockroach while I was taking a shower! the staff was friendly but the service was abysmal! there was no room service and at the same time it was forbidden to have food in the room: a prison!

I got by jumped by 2 males the first night staying here just minutes from the enterance of the hotel. The staff at the hotel didnt do anything about the mugging. They just told me to "be careful next time". My hotel room had bed bugs. The power went out the 2nd day we were there and didn't go back on during our entire stay. The room had no windows and was pitch black. The shower was designed to spill as much water possible on the floor. Imagine showering in a pitch black room.... The breakfast was pathetic, no eggs or bacon, just bread and meat. Overall, terrible hotel in an unsafe location. I've been to many countires and cities in Europe and Barcelona was by far the worst in terms of safety and things to do for fun. More scammers here than any place I have ever seen. Solicitors are at every tourist location, every resturant and will bother tourist as much as possible.

Having read some of the reviews I was not exactly much, but I had a absolutely brilliant experience, the room was spotless and I had a balcony, the staff were friendly and helpful, amazing location

Last minute booking as we arrived It’s not the Ritz Carlton but you’re not paying for that either For price - exceptional Location - Wow Room size - big Bathroom/shower - clean and functional Breakfast- basic but you’re in Barcelona so grab a coffee here and head out Staff… this is where the Ramblas gets it 5 stars. Older man checked us in and was extremely helpful and friendly Late night - there is an Italian guy Marco… we faced some issues and all I can say is without him and his empathy it would have been a different trip - hospitality staff like Marco is what gives a property an edge Will recommend to anyone looking for a value based mid range city hotel based on Marco and the way he solved our issue Looking forward to staying again

Really great location! Friendly staff. The lock on my room died and they were able to fix it very quickly. The windowless room actually has a window and balcony to a closed corridor. The bathtub enamel was coming off and the toilet didn't flush well. They were renovating though so hopefully these things are updated. Breakfast was basic but good. The fresh orange juice was the best. Overall worth the price

This hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. It’s close to all sightseeing and has good transport links. But I’m afraid that’s the only positivities we found. We were put in an ‘internal’ room which was advised as having a window but when we got there it was just a patio door that opened into what looked like a lift shaft, the room was very hot and with having no window there was no air, it advertised as also having air conditioning but when we asked about it we were told it had been switched off and to leave the controls off in the room, we were only there 3 nights so we could just bear it but any longer and it would have been unbearable. We asked for a fan but were told they didn’t have any. The downside to having the patio door open was you could hear EVERYTHING else going on in the rooms who also had there door open as you can imagine this was all the noises. Shame really could be a fab hotel if air and heat sorted out.

This hotel is the heart of the madness in Barcelona. Extremely busy crazy street and close to everything you need. Service was really nice the room was small but clean, comfortable and I would stay there again if I ever traveled back to Barcelona

Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Rooms need modernisation...even a lick of paint would make a difference. View from the window was disgusting. Great location though

Get what you pay for. Clean and practical rooms. Staff cleaning in hallways at 2am everyday wasn’t much fun - especially considering as it’s a budget hotel the doors don’t hold much noise out. Great location

A good hotel for tourists that want to be in a central position where the movida is tangible. Clean, breakfast simple but big enough.

I stay in this hotel with my family... I was very disappointed... one morning the didn't clean our room, the breakfast was poor.... The good think in this hotel was that location was the center of the Rambles

We had room 201. It was small with a view of and internal light well and tanks. Behind the wall at the head of our bed was the neighbouring flamenco club. Each night the sound coming from them was so loud. Each performance was a slow build of momentum until the frenzied stomping would stop to cheers. When the show finished about 1230am the nightclub next door on the other side of the hotel took over with their rhythm and bass vibrating the room until they close a 5am weekdays and 6am Fridays and Saturdays. The hotel smelt funny, the breakfast was gross and the coffee weak. We stayed for three nights and were happy to leave. Great location and cheap but better options available for slightly more.....

ABSOLUTELY NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!! Terrible all round. The staff could not care less about any complaint or problem you have. The room was dirty, cramped and in overall poor condition. NO A/C! IT HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR MONTHS! The shower did not stay in place, the exhaust fan did not work, there are no windows in the room, the mattresses are paper thin and very old and almost touching the wall, the fridge did not cool, the lifts take 2 people with luggage at a time so check in and out took a long time. The walls are thin so you hear everything your neighbours are doing. Just a bad experience.

Great location, shame about the noise from local bars and the Metro vibrates the whole building every 20 minutes up to midnight! No TV channels to watch! No tea or coffee facilities in room!

I work on the go and the wifi here is slower than a snail race. Dial-up used to be faster than this.

The location of this place is hard to beat. Prime area. La Rambles street comes alive at night. The hotel doesn't offer much for breakfast. The rooms are decent. We had a veranda/patio which was nice.

Amazing location, right in the middle of everything! The staff were so friendly and helpful, even with them working on Christmas day! The breakfast is absolutely wonderful- everything you could want:hot, fresh and varied with lots of veggie options and lovely extras. The room was great and had an awesome terrace over looking the flamenco theatre next door which was exciting. Me and my mother were both so happy with our choice!
