Pizza was like a Grandiosa, the carbonara was like a 3 weeks old pasta with some disgusting cheese. Sticky table. Don’t go here for food

It was almost 10 years ago, I had the best churros ever in this place :) This time, I had Crema Catalana and it was also delicious. This cafe always reminds me "Baylan Cafe" in Kadıköy, İstanbul and I really like the traditional and nostalgic textures of this place as I am an old soul :) It makes you feel like you are in a flashback movie. You should sit inside the cafe, not outside; in the chaos of Las Ramblas.

My favourite place in Barcelona. The staff are so nice and the food is very tasty + the decor is dated in the most charming way I love it. Just a really nice laidback place, if I could go every day I would!!

Don't get the paella, it was soggy and not very fresh. This place probably is not the best for food.

Cute little place we found after a day of exploring. Definitely try out the churros con chocolate. They're good - not too sweet and they're cheap as well, I believe it was around 4 euros.

Situated nicely in the Ramblas. Good service. Food: nothing special to really complain about, but nothing to praise. Just average with higher than average prices. Good place for a few beers or sangria.

Avoid like the plague as chances are you'll be treated like someone suffering from it. My forgotten drink order and exhausted looking omelette almost seem like the least of it when you're treated with contempt from the moment you walk in. Being a former waiter myself and a seasoned **** polisher by trade I don't like to go in on catering staff as I know their pain but if the Poundland Pitbull who waited on my girlfriend and I is so consumed by tourist contempt while working in a café on the busiest strip in Barcelona then might I suggest he either ensures he gets in his five a day or failing that, run away to sea.

Very historic cafe with an antique interior centrally located on the Rambla. We came here for breakfast every day. Friendly waiters. The prices are a little more than the less attractive places charge but not excessively. We paid €4.10 each for coffee and croissant.

It is next to the old city walls built parallel to the river bed in the 13th century. With the demolition of the walls and filling the river bed in the 14th and 15th centuries, the rambla turns into a boulevard. The first trees were planted in the 16th century. The bourgeoisie gradually replaced the nobility in the 17th and 18th centuries, and the monasteries began to disappear. Many palaces were built around the area. This facility has served different names and concepts for centuries. It was put into operation under the name of Cafe De L'opera in 1929. Even during the Spanish Civil War since that date, it has not stopped its activity 28 hours a day, 365 days a year. it is one and was restored in 1991 and 2004. If you happen to be in Barcelona, you can eat tapas with beer or drink tea and coffee. (Original) Cafe De L'opera Barconanin en ünlü ve en işlek caddesi La rambla üzerinde bulunan bir işletmedir. (Translated by Google) The place is emblematic, it is true. An example of modernist coffees that have not replaced their decoration and comfort with a space without personality. They may have to repair some "things" and yes, when it is full, it is a bit noisy and with little space. So it has been since the first time I visited it for the first time in the seventies! Upon entering I had the whim of taking a cut but as the waiter, Angel, did not see me very sure he convinced me to have a tea and a paste. Good seller! My companion drank coffee and it was good and the angel hair paste exquisite. Depending on what time you go you will find many "natives", it is special if there is an operatic representation in front where the Liceo de Barcelona is located. Anyway, recommended to go when there are few people.

Traditional cafe - with more 'senior' waiters ( with white shirts and bow- ties) who have seen it all - there is no messing around - a little brusk but that was fine - shabby chic environment - certainly a refreshing change from the chain cafes on Las Rambles.

We tried their seafood Paela and Salad Verde and it sincerely wasn't anything special for Paela, but the salad was sincerely bad, it seemed like somebody who had never done a salad did it, somehow 😂 As for the churros, amazing, they are nicely crunch outside and soft inside with a satisfying slightly salty flavour, if you dip it in their hot chocolate it is perfection. Best churros hands down. Do not order the salad no matter what you do 😂

Waiter was very arrogant, in the middle of taking our order he started talking with someone else. He made a misstake in our order and demanded more money from us than we were supposed to pay. Don't know why this place got more than 4 stars on google, as food was not that good either.
