Great place to check out in Barcelona that is free!! Cute park to walk around and take pictures. I went on a Thursday right when it opened at 10am and it was not very busy in here. Love all the cacti and palm trees

One of the most unique and amazing places in the whole of Barcelona! It is located near the Montjuic Castle and you can reach it either by foot or by car. It is free to enter. The gardens are packed with different kinds of cacti from all around the world. It is a unique experience walking through them. I would definitely recommend visiting the gardens, you won't regret it! It very peaceful and beautiful.

Beautiful elevated and well landscaped public park. It's full of rare cacti from around the world each cactus having a descriptive plaque. There's lots of hard surfaced footpaths in between the trees and scrubs. There's also a viewpoint and plenty of benches. The views looking down on the Port where you can watch the boats looking out to the ocean are fantastic. It's a nice and quiet place with plenty of romantic spots.

(Translated by Google) The place is beautiful. The only thing that makes him very angry is the people who don't take care of him. A lot of people write on the cactus 🌵 their names, what is the purpose of that? There is something beautiful and they do not take care of it. From there it is really the most beautiful park in Barcelona.

If you like cactus it's a must. We combined a stroll to mount Montjuic and walked down through the jardin... Definitely worth it if you need some nature during your city trip. ;)

Beautiful garden. If you want to visit one garden in Barcelona/on Montjuic, this should be it. It's free and we enjoyed it more than the Botanical Garden.

Finding the entrance compared on what google maps said was so hard, it’s closer to the highway rather than the Martinez restaurant. It’s free to enter and the plans are very nice. There’s a lot of people going up and down the ramps in segways which was distracting as they go fast but other than that it was great!

This garden is beautiful. There are many species of cactus. There are also many great views overlooking the water. The park has benches as well if you want to sit and observe the beauty. It’s also FREE to walk through!

(Translated by Google) The garden, of more than three hectares, was inaugurated in 1970 and rehabilitated to facilitate its access quite recently. A New York Times journalist has considered him one of the ten best gardens in the world. . Although the popularity it enjoys is not excessive - or perhaps precisely for that reason - this garden is that kind of site that only some locals know. These gardens - named in tribute to the Mallorcan poet - are, simultaneously, a privileged viewpoint. Thanks to its inclination, the panoramic view over the coastal strip of the city and the port.

Lovely piece of nature with a view over the port. Lots of different plants and cacti to see but it is looking very sad and very dry in many areas. Not just this park but all parks in the city are just deteriorating and it’s a shame to see nothing being done about it. It would just be fantastic if this park, along with many others here in BCN, were given just a little bit of love and care to bring them back to their former beauty. Still, it is nature to be appreciated and definitely worth the visit.

It is a very nice park, different to other parks by its collection of cacti and views over the port -find benches and pergolas at a secluded spot at the bottom of the park! A lot of pairs rest there. The entrance was difficult for me to find, it looked as a small insignificant gate. There seems to be more than one of the entrances, but some are closed at times. Ridiculous, but I succeeded to get in only on my 3d attempt, I am sure you'd be fine using Google Maps, also check if the park might be closed over winter. Great place for a romantic walk and find a lonely bench, but please avoid carving on cacti leaves; it is really pathetic if people resort to vandalism during courtship. I am not completely sure if this park works for the families. Watch out kids might get hurt if touching cacti. There is a drinking water fountain in the center of the park. If it doesn't work there is more in Montjuic. When leaving, I wouldn't leave by the bottom gate, if you go to the port next, because you'd have to go by a busy road. Instead rather climb up back. The nearest toilets I found are there on the right, behind a cafe. I really enjoyed my visit, looking at cacti, having peaceful time in silence. See photos attached.

Absolutely beautiful. Should note there are two gardens called Jardins de Mossen in the area (they are 20-25 mins apart by walk) so make sure you enter the write one on maps. No better public garden that this one!

Then I was told that there is a restaurant upstairs, and in it .. But that was later. At the end of the walk, I paid little attention to beauty?. It's worth visiting this place, I'm going to come here again and again. Good luck and prosperity to this garden! Beautiful botanical garden with a vast cacti collection and nice panoramic views over the coastline and port. Perfect for a late afternoon or early evening walk, quiet place, with plenty of benches where you could just take a break or admire the nice sea vistas. Great escape from the City and well worth the climb to get the views of the city. If you like walking it can be managed in a couple of hours. So, even on a short trip it can be crammed in.

The garden is very beautiful, but the plants are poorly maintained and there is a lot of garbage around

Really nice place and entrance is for free. Only seems like people have no respect for nature. A lot of plants was damaged by vandals who wrote their names on them.

It's such a cool cactus garden but there's one issue now... They've CLOSED it. You can walk around the edge and still get a good view, but part of the experience was the path through the middle. However, like all things enjoyable in this world, it's been closed. You can no longer walk through it. Anything fun it seems get closed these days.

It was a little hard for me to find this place because the Google map instructions brought me a very difficult way. But it was a great walk with some great views. The garden itself wasn’t that impressive. They were just cactuses. I thought it would be a little bit more impressive but nope.

If you want to get a good view of the harbor and see some succulents and cactusses this is the place. It free to visit, and i imagine i would be cozy to enjoy some snacks or light lunch here with the amazing view.

So many spikeys! Great selection of plants, lovely park. Great break from the busy city... with great views of the city. Bring some water on a hot day and maybe a pack lunch. You'll have to walk further up the hill for food and drinks. Might be tough for little ones
