(Translated by Google) I want this comment to be constructive for the chef. Yesterday we were eating in his restaurant and great disappointment. The treatment in the room was a horror .... three times they stained the tablecloth while serving ..... twice they mixed sparkling water with natural water in the same glass .... the speed of serving and removing the dishes was embarrassingly quick ... it looked like a Chinese rte. It is good that you have young boys learning ... but that is not all the service ... there was no one with some experience, not a head of the room, to give the guidelines and especially to teach and direct them. When we left, no one approached us to see how the experience was ... in fact, there was only one person in the whole room. I think you have plenty of stars ... I recommend that you spend more time in your business because things are not being done well.

middle of the menu tasting i spit it out the plastic peice in the food. so i complained to them but theire customer service was really bad. It took about an hour to receive the response about plastic peice and they wanna everthing paid for tasting menu. anyway that menu cost is 300euro with plastic peice haha. To make sure it's not a lie, I uploaded a picture of a piece of plastic and a picture of another food.

Was really torn about whether this deserved a 4 or 5 stars. When dining from a tasting menu there will obviously be dishes that don’t suit your taste and others that will. Taste is subjective , while I’m an adventurous eater there were dishes that didn’t strike the correct notes for me and others that certainly did. There were no plates that I hated. Even my girlfriend who is a picky eater ate everything and didn’t hate any dishes. With that being said I’ll make this easy. Service: 10/10 make no mistake they make you feel like royalty here and the vibe is pretty chill . A lot more calm than I expected a 3 Michelin restaurant to be which is great. The staff is great and the people who took care of me were incredible A+ Ambiance/Atmosphere : 8/10 While the service was perfect and the vibe was mellow and warm. The decor and generally look of my seat left a little to be desired. But we’re here for food not for a pretty room . Food: 8.5/10 Read the first paragraph, taste is subjective this isn’t as easy as rating a Mexican restaurant or pizza joint and judging it solely on that. Everyone knows what to expect at those sorts of restaurants so you can easily judge and critique on how they stack up against others. The food here is a lot more eloquent and subdue, there’s a lot of under tones to each dish that I may lack the pallet for. My only critique would be that nothing I ate punched me with flavor and maybe that’s not what this restaurant is going for . Overall everything was tasty but an explosion or party in my mouth it was not. Conclusion: I would still highly recommend this restaurant , the service was world class, the wine world class , the vibe somber and warm(which is perfect for me). The food was great and tasty but perfect definitely not, but I was not disappointed. Me and my girlfriend had a great time and we applaud everyone at Abac. *Follow Instagram: OurFoodLife*

You can’t go wrong with this 3 Michelin star restaurant. Sure it is pricey, but it is worth it. There is only one tasting menu, 225€ by the time we went. Everything in it is special and perfectly cooked. Ingredients are first class. Service is relaxed and close, they adjust to your special requirements perfectly. They have client parking and a hotel with spa if you want to relax after 5 hours of lunch.

Great 3 Michelin star Restaraunt. Each course is really unique, with absolutely extraordinary flavors. They had a very interesting and delicious take on a Bloody Mary, given at the very beginning! The presentation of each course is amazing with very unique plate designs.

Before restarting publishing the Paris Michelin Star challenge reviews ( and continuing the French 3 stars one), I took a break and went to Spain. I’ll publish some of the reviews. I’m already at 14 stars in Spain. So I do not have the same overview as in France where I m well above 150 having finished the Paris challenge (yes, I’m late publishing) but I still have a decent experience in 1,2 and 3 stars there. You’re there for the experience. It’s a collection of experiences, more than just dishes. Every little dish is an experience in itself. You’ll be entertained, you’ll have fun and you’ll live it. There’s clearly a playfulness. So don’t approach this restaurant focusing only on the gastronomy, but let yourself being carried away by each little experience. The setting is a boutique hotel, quite trendy. It’s not casual, but it’s not formal like it can be in some 3 stars restaurant in palaces. The setting is not the point. Nor the seen/to be seen, although it’s a 3 stars so there’s always a bit going on. It clearly does deserve its 3 stars for the experience. Clearly a solid 3 stars.

(Translated by Google) Restaurant of exceptional quality but I must say that of all the dishes only one or two have surprised me. The service is impeccable but very little personalized. The descriptions are done in a rush and the visit to the kitchen is quick and rather seems to be part of a paripe ... it can be improved a lot.

(Translated by Google) The place is great, the service is very good, it is a bit expensive especially with the mini dishes they give, which may even be good but there was not enough quantity to know it. I think that at least the amount and the time between dishes should be rethought.

This is unfortunately not the level of food and service I am used to in fine dining restaurants. 320€ per person for food, water, coffee plus additional wine 70€. Weird greeting, our table was not ready, although the room was empty, we were walking around the elevator following the instructions “please wait here or there or here or terrace “ so we just stood in the corner and waited. We are asked 3 times by different people for food allergies, also after sending an email. But ok maybe they just wanted to be 10000% sure . Then, we were called to visit the kitchen, which I thought was a nice idea to see were the magic happens, but I did not expect to get my appetisers in the kitchen - they were probably the best part of the course, but eaten standing in the middle of the kitchen did not scream 3 stars Michelin. We were then invited to the dining room - no real atmosphere or design, very simple and very very quiet. I expected some kind of music or even live music. When sat at the table I could not hear my husband, but was almost touching the men sitting behind me at his table. Sommelier did an amazing job with the wine selection. The food… well.. who minces wagyu? To make a meatball? Almost all dishes had a smoky taste, which I’m not a fan of and at some point it got repetitive. Too sweet onion soup, and then a dish - something that reminds me of a burned leftover cheese left on a grill. Deserts were very nice. I also enjoyed the mini shows that the service was performing while serving and everyone was kind and friendly. Overall, the kitchen needs a reality check, calling the food pedo celestial (heavenly fart) may be funny, but does not justify spending 800 euro. We feel ripped off

Despite the experience some others had with the service, I found the staff to be lovely and attentive. Having been to a number of restaurants of this kind, I'd have to say it's one of the ones I enjoyed the most. I was brought here as a surprise, and despite my disheveled appearance and literal leggings, the staff handled my plastic shopping bags with grace. They have mastered fine dining without stuffiness. The attention to detail in the less experimental menu that we chose was exactly what you'd expect. I loved the playfulness in the plating, and the obvious care that resonated through each dish. More importantly, the dishes didn't sacrifice being tasty in favor of being interesting. Highly recommended.

ABaC is a great experience. Going through many parts of the restaurant, you will enjoy some great food and drinks. We ordered the ABaC menu and had a great time. Experiencing and seeing a 3-star Michelin kitchen at work is an absolute blast while immediately trying the food appear. The wine combines while a little light on the pour has a great taste with each serving. The whole experience took more than 3 hours but completely flew by considering how we enjoyed it.

(Translated by Google) I wonder if the fish they serve are from "La Sirena" since he praises them in his television commercial. Is that so? It is not that these are bad, it is simply to know it and if we pay them at the price of fresh. Maybe someone can clarify it for me.

This spot is great we were welcomed upon arrival. The food is delicious very creative and plated quite beautifully. The seating was very comfortable which is great because you will be at the table for 3 hours it's a great experience. The wine list is huge and excellent lots of hidden gems. We were seated along the left side of dining room by the window my only feedback is looking up at the pot lights by the curtains I could see four burnt out light bulbs. I would just expect a three star Michelin to notice these types of details. The other thing I found slightly odd was serving caviar with a metal utensil I was always under the impression caviar is to be served with pearl, wood or plastic utensils has the metal reacts and causes the caviar to take on a taste. That being said I would highly recommend they also accommodated my girlfriends vegetarianism.

(Translated by Google) A restaurant with 3 Michelin stars should by definition have 5 stars, but there are details in ABaC that make me score only 4, when making the reservation they ask if there are any particularities and in this case there were, a 50th birthday and an allergy .. On the first, despite the commitment when booking that there would be a detail, nothing at all, on the second, despite the fact that when we arrived they made reference to us (allergy to cheese), they brought us several dishes with cheese, one of them when reminding them of Again, instead of proposing an alternative, they returned THE SAME DISH, only removing the part with cheese, the other, not even that, remained on the table. There is a lack of a room management with proven experience, many dining room staff, but lack of coordination. It is not at the height of a tasting menu of more than € 200. That said, the food is spectacular, although, perhaps a bit of abuse of seafood to the detriment of meat, nonetheless surprising and at the height of its Michelin titles, in terms of the winery, the correct sommelier and the exorbitant price ... In short, it has not been a better experience in the premises of this chef.

(Translated by Google) I am missing some details to put the 5th star. In general everything is great, and the presentation of the dishes very cool. But (now the buts) I have an intolerance to cheese (which I notified at the time of making the reservation more than 1 month ago, and that I have reminded them today) they bring me a plate with a ball stuffed with brié ... they withdraw the plate and the minute they return the same without the ball ... or anything to replace it. The same is repeated in the dessert..a sandwich of "cheesecake" ice cream (in my town cheese, of course) nothing substitute..we celebrate my husband's birthday (in observations I notified) they say they put some candles on you..no se, they were conspicuous by absence. The waiters are a bit novice, very friendly and kind, but not at the level of a restaurant with a Michelin star.

An experience like no other. I’m maybe that the service outpaced the tasting menu, but it impossible to say anything negative about all the many flavors we tasted. We were treated to a private tour of the kitchen and wine cellar to cap the night. Don’t miss this experience in Barcelona

Interesting experience with unexpected textures, tastes and atmosphere that are created. In a lot of dishes it was black caviar, so those who love it, will enjoy for sure. I liked the first dishes that were in the kitchen, we even took a photo with the team there, and I can say that everyone were top friendly. So if you want to try something interesting, unexpected and of a high level you must visit this restaurant.

Food was salty, service was sloppy and ambiance was stuffy. However, the course's overall concept was quite fun--particularly the desserts; they were nostalgia re-envisioned. Processed candies eaten as a kid, recreated with fine dining ingredients and techniques. One of the desserts tasted like I was drinking a strawberry hard candy Jolly Rancher for us Americans). Otherwise, the rest of the meal followed played out fine dining usuals like caviar forward appetizers and deconstruction of familiar dishes. Except all of these were worsened by the saltiness of the dishes. My mouth actually puckered from the saltiness. When asked about my experience with the appetizers, I asked if they could pull back on the salt for the rest of the meal, if possible. Which leads me to the service. The food remained salty, and no one asked if the food tasted specifically less salty, for the rest of the meal. Understandably, much of the prepared components of each course may not be able to be adjusted to fit a single customer's request. But I would've appreciated a simple follow up. There were two more noticeable issues with the service. First, look at the pictures. I found a hair in the white sauce of the course shown in the pictures. The waiter took my dish back to prepare a new one. However, I am quite dubious whether a new dish was prepared, and whether the same standard of quality was met. The white sauce's consistency on my dish is quite grainy, like cottage cheese, while the white sauce on my partner's dish is smoothly gelatinous, as mine also was when it was first presented. The second service issue is related to setting the table. Several times when the staff placed new silverware, my partner and I noticed, not only for our table, but for others as well, that the staff almost "tossed" down each utensil. I know I'm being very nit-picky here, but this is a three Michelin star restaurant. It was not pleasant, especially when there was no rapport established between us and our primary wait staff--not to their fault because do have language barriers. Regardless, the impression was carelessness. Lastly, ambiance. This is highly subjective so take it with a grain of salt. The setting was quite intimate, but it was stuffy. I could hear everything from everyone. I felt that I had to lean in and whisper to speak with my partner without disturbing others. Also, jackets are not required for men. If a certain ambiance is trying to be created, follow through.

I went to Àbac a year ago with my roommates and we had a lovely experience. Of the numerous dishes served there was not one we didn’t enjoy. The service was top notch, the cocktail recommendations were excellent, and moving to different parts of the restaurant for certain courses really made it a worthwhile experience. The next time I’m in Barcelona I will return to Àbac!

(Translated by Google) Overall good experience, but in my opinion, it doesn't justify the price. It was all very correct, but I did not find what I am looking for in a Michelin star, and it is to find flavors and combinations that really surprise you. I really enjoyed having the aperitif visiting the kitchen. At the end of the dinner, they "give you" the printed menu as a souvenir. It seems like a good detail to me, but they only had English and Catalan. It seems ridiculous to me. Although I do not regret having gone, I would not go again. For less than half the cost of Abac, there are other Michelin Stars with much more interesting menus. Me parece ridículo. Aunque no me arrepiento de haber ido, no volvería a ir. Por menos de la mitad de lo que cuesta el Abac, hay otros Estrella Michelin con menús mucho más interesantes.

(Translated by Google) Hello, we were having dinner at Abac yesterday, and we were disappointed in some aspects. We go in parts. The service, except for the inexperienced young sommelier who hadn't even tried the dishes they served, they knew what was out of the box but on two occasions they told us that they hadn't even tried them. I think that a restaurant like this should have a professional responsible for the room. On the other hand, I do not understand why they ask you if you have intolerance or something like that, since I said that I was pregnant and the solution was, because if there was butter with caviar, they would remove the caviar, if there were oysters with ...... They took the oyster away from me, if there were some sea things, they took it from me and put cabbage on me, let's pay what you pay to not eat anything of quality, it seems fatal to me, they have to have another spectacular alternative the same or similar. But come on, the solution is to remove it and that's it. (In the end I told them to give me the normal menu and I would take it if I wanted) Regarding the restaurant with many people and it is not spectacular either. And the food, I expected to go out with a uuuuuaaaahhhhh and none of us left like that. A real shame. We will not repeat unfortunately as we did not like it. I don't understand the 3 stars.

The adventure began in the kitchen itself. A beehive of creation and energy. And the first course came on a cactus, firmly setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Two more flavor explosions came amidst the staff before heading to the table where so much innovation was explored. At the end, we adjourned outside for a micro dessert fantasy of flavors. Phenomenal indeed. Enjoy the food pics...

(Translated by Google) Located in an oasis in a "good" area of BCN that can be accessed if they open the door to the street remotely. Glazed reception and elegant and discreet service. You go to the long dining room with two rows of tables, next to the wall and next to the glass window that overlooks the garden. Long tasting menu that delights connoisseurs, with a few far-fetched firsts and the rest less undefined, very creative in any case. Pairing is an expensive added experience with which wines are known that I never imagined (but a very little drinker speaks). The desserts, resting on candlelight paraphernalia, were, it often happens, very difficult to reflect the creative ardor of a great chef. We are satisfied but without feeling of excess, the subsequent digestion being calm.

Fantastic food (for the most part) beautifully served with incredible ingredients in an ambiance that feels cold and robotic. We had the full dinner tasting menu, setting us back 250EUR per person before tip and drinks. Judging by the food and presentation alone, this price makes sense given its 3 Michelin stars. The ingredients were fresh and top-quality, and some of the preparation was done meticulously by the waiters, table-side, which added to the overall experience. The amount of different dishes and drinks, from start to finish, was precise and left us full. However, when you go to a restaurant at this caliber you expect the full experience to be flawless and this is where things start to go wrong: we began with a tour of the kitchen, and ended up crammed in a corner where we were served three bite-sized dishes. We had our server wait anxiously by our side for us to finish before walking us to the table. We were then quickly presented with the menu and advised to not go to the restrooms before alerting the waiter because "there is a very tight schedule for the dishes". The dishes were all presented to us with a very monotonic voice and it just felt like we were props in a larger show and expected to behave according to their schedule. This place is not for everyone and some people will find it disappointing. When looking at the entire night, we had a lot of delicious and creative food and eventually enjoyed our dinner. I do think there are a few key things left to improve and therefore the 4-star review

What an experience! The food, the service, the space, were all top notch. This is what a 3 Michelin Star restaurant should represent. The meal planning takes you on a journey that has been very well curated. Be prepared to spend quite a bit but in my opinion, completely worth it.

The flow and performance of 16 course tasting menu was fun and enjoyable. Service was attentive and welcoming! The food has quite a bit of Asian twist, however, some dishes were a bit too salty. Desert courses were joyfully presented but the tastes can be improved. Overall, we fully enjoyed the night @ Abac!

Love every second of it and every dish from the menu. There was not even one plate that I didn't like (maybe the lipstick, if I'd really have to choose) As for the pairing it was the first time I really could understand the beauty of it. The wines(and more) they offer are not only go with the dishes, they open new sides of them. Great job! Experience you won't forget.

What an incredible dining experience. Every dish was so creative and interesting. I would not necessarily say every single thing was delicious but every dish was an experience in and of itself. The service was a bit uneven. Some of the people who served us were impeccable, others not so much. Also when we got there they could not find our reservation even though we had a clear confirmation email. On the one hand it was a huge screw-up, on the other hand they did make it work even though the dining room was quite full. I do believe this restaurant deserves their three Michelin stars. If you are into that kind of thing, definitely do not miss this experience!

My husband and I went for my birthday dinner tonight and loved the experience! The tasting menu started with a tour of the kitchen where bloody marry & 3 appertizers were served by a charming staff. We continued with 16 course menu which consisted of really intelligent, playful, fun and seriously delicious courses. Some of the highlights were butter candle, vase with flower which turns to dessert, helium baloon etc. I had a lovely Rose wine and my husband had whiskey sour which he said was really good. Parts of courses were prepared or finished in front of us. Overall, the most delicious and what is important - fun and memorable fine dining experience thus far! Really, really great job! Congratulations to the whole team and staff!

Sadly the experience at ABaC was quite a disappointment, the presentation and the food was delicious, just as at the other restaurant, but the other restaurant excelled in every other aspect. We started with a tour in the kitchen, while we got that, music was playing in the kitchen, and two other parties was getting the same tour very close to us, so it was almost impossible to hear the presentation of the dishes, and the kitchen. As we was shown our table at ABaC, there were no other place for handbags than on the table or on the floor. During our entire seating, our towels wasn't changed once, not even during bathroom breaks. The bread was served only with hazelnut butter. At the other resraurant, we got three delicious butter variants, and even very high quality olive oil. Maybe worst of all was the fact that I found a dead fly in one of my dishes. It's something that can, but shouldn't happen at a restaurant, however, at a 3-star Michelin restaurant, I expect the quality control to simply eliminate that scenario. The waitor should have checked the food before serving it, to make sure no such thing had happened. In regards to the food in general, I gotta say it was very delicious. The dried garland tomatoes was so flavourfull, and yet seemed so simple. The low temperature hak was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and had the perfect texture. Last but not least, the "Balloon of strawberry" was both a entertaining and great way to end the experience. All in all, the negatives did far outweight the positives, especially with the fact in mind that this restaurant got a 3rd star. I would highly recommend skipping this one, and instead try either Angle, or one of the many other options in Barcelona.

(Translated by Google) Disappointing, we were very excited to go to this restaurant with three Michelin stars. There is no doubt about the quality of the product, but we have come across several lacks that have surprised us badly. It cannot be that we start eating and we don't have napkins, and that if we go to the bathroom and come back they have changed them but without leaving the new ones. Napkins have been ordered twice. Another thing that has shocked us, I had finished eating and my partner had not and they were already taking away his unfinished plate ... feeling that we were slow. When you actually come to enjoy the experience of flavors ... when suddenly, time has stopped and the dishes have taken about 15 minutes to come out! Among other aspects that should not be produced in a restaurant like this. We have been very disappointed and disappointed.

(Translated by Google) The food is a spectacle !!!, top quality products and everything very well made. The waiters a 10 for how to serve, the explanations of each dish, their attention and sympathy. But I think some dishes could be eliminated ... because it's an exaggeration and in the end you don't taste anything anymore and it would also make the price more affordable (Original) El menjar és tot un espectacle!!!, Productes de primera qualitat i tot molt ben elaborat. (Translated by Google) Disappointing. Lots of technique but with carrinclons concepts. Particularly the dish of oyster seemed to me a joke. I would only save the ramen (of 10) and 1 or 2 dishes more than the 20 that were presented to us. (Original) Decepcionant.

An absolutely amazing eating experience. Every plate is like a piece of art, to be savored with every bite. In all there were about 20 plates and the lunch lasted three hours. It was all so delicious and we even got to meet Chef Jordi, which was quite the treat. Overall one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life.
