    Worst medical experience I have had!! (Please note that all this was happening without me speaking Spanish/Catalan and the nurses and doctor not being able to speak English. Most of what was happening is me trying to understand some of their broken English and through context of them talking in Spanish to me) After waiting almost three hours in the waiting room i was sent to box nr. 2 where I had to wait another 30min for the doctor. While waiting for the doctor one of the male nurses working the night came in to check my blood pressure. Being on the blood pressure machine, I could feel it being too tight and my lower arm started turning completely BLUE. Concerned I told the nurse that it is too tight to which he responded that this is normal. The arm turning blue while measuring blood pressure is certainly NOT normal. So i took it off and he left. When the doctor arrived to the box I was in he let me explain my symptoms to him (advising me he could not speak English well). After explaining my symptoms for 2min he put me off with prescription medication without even looking at my concerns at all and told me he will be back with the papers and prescription for the pharmacy. I managed to at least look at me for 20seconds but being left with the same answer. Some prescription medication and that was it. So me feeling severely lost not being able to communicate or taken serious I let him go and waited for him to come back with the papers. But now comes another worst part!! While waiting for the doctor to come back another nurse walks in with a syringe telling me she will inject me now. I was shocked and did not know with what and why since nobody has really looked at me. There was absolutely no trust anymore from my side at this point and I refused. I waited for the papers and left as fast as I could. HORRIBLE!! No communication and care for patient existed. Especially if you are foreign and do not speak Spanish, do not go to this hospital!!

    If I could give ZERO stars I would. I was sent home multiple times with a serious kidney infection and stone that needed intervention. The LANGUAGE BARRIER is a huge problem. They have an international department that helps all native English speakers, so long as you have non-Spanish insurance. I have PRIVATE insurance here in Spain, so this makes zero sense. My treatment plan has never been discussed with me. The doctors are like ghosts. I have been here now FIVE days and 2 of those entire days didn’t even speak to a doctor. They placed s stent in me a few weeks back that got infected which is why I am here. They told me I will have surgery today, from the doctor himself to the nurses. He sent me for CT and said he’d see me in one hour. He never came back and they just moved my surgery 2 more days until. After the weekend on Monday!?!? How can I trust these people with my care?’ I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Yes the facilities are nice and new. If the people running it aren’t honest and doing their job, the facilities mean nothing!

    Do not go here unless your life truly depends on it. The staff deliberately obfuscates pricing and doesn’t communicate how much simple examinations cost. Despite arriving at an empty hospital, receiving a basic examination took almost two hours and cost over 500 euros. I never received an option to choose what tests or examinations I wanted. This place is slow, inefficient, and devastatingly expensive.

    Without question, this is the worst service of any hospital I have ever visited. It’s incredibly slow, it seems as though no one is in contact with each other, and it’s consistently like this! Definitely don’t come here if you don’t enjoy waiting.

I have masters in Computer Science and Engineering, and I have never said something like that to anyone. There is always a simple version you can give suitable for every type of audience. You should train your staff in soft skills or hire better doctors.

    I’d like to revise my negative review years ago at this hospital. The doctor did multiple scans on my Mom at that time but because of language barrier and the vy expensive charges imposed without proper explanation, I was shocked & upset. However, upon return to Singapore, doctors confirmed that Mom indeed has pneumonia. The tests were appropriate although Hospital Delfos couldnt treat it properly as we were tourist. On hindsight, cost aside, I’d like to acknowledge that it was probably the necessary things and what the doctor thought right to do given her conditions (running all those tests). the only input is to first ask consent from patient especially if there is language barrier to prevent misunderstanding. I apologize for my negative reaction before. Thank you

    This is the worst hospital in Barcelona. I came there as an emergency early in the morning because I couldn’t feel my leg because I had something in my foot. The doctor that works at night just laughed at me and said it’s not here and it’s just a cut. There was also a Russian lady that works at the reception that was literally shouting at me because I was crying and I couldn’t say a word because it was hurting so much. Then I made an appointment in few days with a therapist. I couldn’t walk these days or anything. When I came they made an ex ray and an ultrasound and nothing showed. They prescribed me painkillers only. In a week I woke up because I couldn’t move and feel my leg again and I had a high temperature. In two weeks it happened that I removed a metal piece of something from my feet myself .. three doctors looked at my feet before that in this hospital, and none of them saw anything..

Del hospital quiero destacar la gran cantidad de profesionales que hay ayudando a gente que lo necesita.     Unfortunately I can't recommend this hospital. I had an emergency surgery there. Although I was treated OK, the surgeon was great, the prices are outrageous and they don't tell you the truth about the prices before surgery. They made me pay a large amount as a deposit and told me it could be less. And after surgery they made me pay double this amount in total. My insurance is only reimbursing a third as the rates are completely crazy. Be careful and ask to be sent to a public hospital if you need surgery and you're not insured in Spain.

    My first negative review ever, but the situation calls for it. Please, be aware that the hospital charge EUR 450 for a visit - this is NOT something they will tell you in advance. They charge a deposit and when you ask them how much the visitation costs, they will not give you a straight answer. Naturally, as a private hospital the cost will be higher, however, with this one, there is 0 transparency. The doctor spent 1 minute looking at my symptoms with 0 examination (not even checking my temperature), and my case was re-directed to a public hospital, and then took EUR 450. I would be very careful before wasting time and money here.

    I was visiting Barcelona on vacation and got extremely ill. I called Doctors Barcelona and they referred me to this hospital to check for a kidney infection. They were going to charge me 7000 euros and keep me for two days just to do blood work. I decided against this and went to a different hospital where they did several tests and gave me medicine within 2 hours. This place was a total scam and the doctors did not seem knowledgeable at all. I do not recommend anyone to go here under any circumstance.

    Seems like this hospital is really non sense. Came there with pain in my shoulder. The doc even don't touched me and send me to make a appointment for radiology... They gave me a appointment in 10 day's. They told me after my appointment I have to do a new one with the doctor. It's ridiculous to wait that long.

    This hospital is a money grab scam .. i came in for a small wound that was infected they said i had to stay over night they charged my card a very high deposit was highly unnecessary that i had to stay over night all i needed was a antibiotic IV and they said tommrow so they can charge more do not go here it’s not faster and public hospitals are free this clinic dosent care about patients they dident clean my wound made us wait hours for everything . All i did was amniotic drip blood test and CT scan and was over thousands of euros .
