Hotel looks nice and is in a decent location. Staff interaction was fine, not great not bad. We won't be back though. We've stayed in many hotels throughout the world and this one is absolutely the noisiest. Staying on the fifth floor means your directly under the rooftop bar. Although, they close at 11pm you'll hear them dragging chairs (or whatever they're doing) until midnight or later. At 7am the noise from outside the rooms start. I get that people are up and housekeeping needs to work, but it's like they're in the room with you. The wooden floors don't help. We were very excited to stay at this hotel but it turned into the hotel we most wanted to leave. If your a hard sleeper and noise doesn't bother you then it's an okay stay.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here in September and are beyond impressed! The whole team was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the rooms clean, and the location- perfect! After a long day of sightseeing, it was such a pleasure to come back to this calm retreat. I loved the whole vibe of this hotel, and will definitely be returning! **Make sure to include the breakfast package. Such a chill and relaxing ambience before you set out for your adventures! Wonderful, unique, stylish hotel. Hotel staff very friendly. Rooms are not big but very stylish. Breakfast is fabulous. Rooftop bar is cool though very busy and hard to get a drink sometimes. This is now my go-to for Barna.

Rooftop very nice with excellent DJ. The staff also very nice and helpful. But if you are looking for a quiet room, this is definitely not the hotel to stay even if I changed rooms. But if you are in for party or tourism not business then it is great as it is really centric.

A quick one night while passing through the city. Room had zero view…. Must have been an interior room. A bit small in the bathroom but I actually appreciate the designers use of space considering the size. Overall a really nice stay. Rooftop was fun and service was great. The only thing I found unacceptable was that upon check-in, I spoke in Spanish to greet them and they responded in English. I asked can we speak in Spanish or should I switch to English and they told me they didn’t speak Spanish but I could wait for someone who could. I just wonder how that is acceptable in a Spanish speaking g country? The person was nice and not her fault but the hotel should know better.

Great hotel with central location, excellent service and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. Stayed here twice with my child and they have been super accommodating. The rooftop terrace has a great view and good music/ambiance. You get a complimentary drink voucher that you can use upon arrival! I also love all the plants in the restaurant area. Can’t wait to come back.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down. One of my favourite hotels I have ever stayed in! Great Hotel!! Staff are wonderful. The breakfast at the Greenhouse restaurant and the rooftop for afternoon/evenings drinks and tapas, makes this hotel a great spot when visiting Barcelona. My wife and I enjoyed every minute we spent here. 100% recommended

Excellent location, clean rooms, and outstanding service. Indeed, as many indicate, the rooms aren't the most spacious, but their service more than makes up for it. Hotel front desk was always more than happy to offer suggestions on where to visit and advice on commuting. Overall a wonderful experience at Hotel Pulitzer.

If you are looking for a pleasant stay in the perfect location look no further. We only stayed two nights but we had the best experience. The hotel itself is really nice and most importantly the room is clean. The food at the hotel is also really good. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. Alba in particular was incredible, she recommended the best spots to eat and made our experience in Barcelona 10x better.

Excellent customer service and great location! I went to Cruise after checkout, but do not want to carry many luggages to the Cruise, the front desk staffs are very friendly to keep two luggages for me for another 8 days, when I came back to pick up all the luggages, the lovely lady helped me to bring them to taxi! The hotel makes me feel home, I will definitely stay here whenever I visit Barcelona.

This is a fantastic location, very walkable to and from the metro and lots of nearby places as well. The check in process and room were wonderful. The staff at the bar and front desk were lovely. I only have three small negatives about the hotel: The breakfast was delicious but awkward as we saw other guests receiving better service and it was clear that they were wealthier guests. And the bed does not have a top sheet, which was so strange and uncomfortable for sleeping. Finally, the shower would be positioned after housekeeping in a way that turning the faucet on would cause water to spray across the room, soaking everything on the countertop. This happened quite quickly as the water pressure was amazingly strong. All in all we would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

My husband and I spent four nights at this lovely hotel. The staff at the front desk, especially Juan, but others too, were warm, friendly, gracious and inviting. They went out of their way to accommodate our various requests. I would highly recommend this hotel; I hope to return myself!

The hotel is perfect for visiting Barcelona because of its convenient location just minutes away from every attraction. A sophisticated colonial style, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and everything very fresh. Nice terrace where you can listen to music and have a drink. The only downside is that the rooms are not soundproofed so the neighbours feel as if they are sleeping with you. For those who are light sleepers I would recommend an alternative.

After tons of research into finding the right hotel for our stay in Barcelona, we decided on Hotel Pulitzer for our Aug 2023 trip from Toronto and I am so glad we settled on this hotel because we had the loveliest stay! These were the biggest highlights for us (family of three: 2 adults and a toddler): 1. Location: Like others have mentioned the location is central and minutes away from Playa Catalunya; you can catch a cab right from the hotel’s doorsteps or get on a bus. 2. Breakfast: Be sure to add this in with your stay - it’s delicious, fresh and offers tons of variety. We were very happy to have had enjoyed our breakfasts at Hotel Pulitzer, just made for a smoother start to our days. 3. Room/bed: We stayed in the Pulitzer Suite with Terrace and this was such a gorgeous and spacious room with the comfiest bed. They also provided us with a pack n play for our toddler to sleep in. While we don’t drink alcohol, the free mini bar also had a nice selection of non alcoholic beverages and snacks for us to enjoy. 4. Staff: Last and by no means the least, the staff at the hotel took excellent care of us. The reception and restaurant staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming - they really went out of their way to make our stay so memorable and pleasant. I am probably missing out on a few names but a special shout out to Emma and Irina from the front desk for all your kindness and hospitality - I recall one of them giving us their own umbrella as it was about to rain just as we were heading out to grab dinner. They also acknowledged my birthday with a sweet handwritten card and brought over cake to our room and again at the restaurant during breakfast :’) and one other awesome gesture that really helped us out was them storing our extra luggage for a whole week while we were away on a cruise (even though we weren’t staying with them post cruise). This is the best place to stay in Barcelona and I can’t wait to come back and happily recommend anyone I know visiting to make a reservation here asap.

Alba and the entire staff made for a wonderful trip filled with lifelong memories. The location could not have been better and allowed us to walk everywhere. One block closer to La Rambla or the Placa would have been too busy and too loud but as soon as we turned the corner we enjoyed tranquility. Upon arrival, the front desk staff could not have been more professional, polite, or helpful. Even when we had issues with our rental car reservation, your staff was quick to provide a solution, and even have the car delivered directly to the hotel. The housekeeping staff was so prompt and thorough yet did it in a way that made them almost invisible. The breakfast was amazing and became a favorite part of our day. The selection of food and freshly made eggs could not have been better. The servers were welcoming and had such a sunny personality. What a way to start the day! My only feedback would be that it took a little too long to get coffee and one day our order was forgotten and probably took 30 minutes to arrive. We also had an opportunity to enjoy the bar or and even ate dinner there one night. We tried to visit the sixth floor rooftop bar, but it was way too much of a party for us old folks. We would love to come back and visit again and will always recommend The Pulitzer.

The highlight is the breakfast! It was so tasty and fresh. We enjoyed it so much that we went there two mornings in a row. The location is amazing; you can go anywhere by foot or just a few stops by subway. Highly recommend.

Very nice rooftop 👌 Drinks expensive, but good, although the ambience was great and there was life music. Totally worth it. I'll come back for sure.

Great hotel with sunny big windows right in the center. They have a amazingly bright and comfy lobby to sit, and hotel provide excellent quality food, what ever we order, it never went wrong, always delicious. Stuff were always very nice as well.

Amazing clean rooms, impeccable service. They attended to every need we had. If we needed something for the room, they would bring it within 2 min.! Wow! The hotel is lovely and amazing ambience. We had drinks in the lobby and some tapas also great. The only thing I would improve are the dj’s at rooftop. They could make a killing if the dj’s cared a bit more…..for example, a bit more upbeat music, be present, show that you enjoy being a do. Everything else in this hotel is amazing, would stay here again!

Super hotel. Super located. Service was splendi, breakfast too. Very helpful and uncomplicated. Rooms were good, but the weakest point. They could have done a bit more to make it look like their breakfast hall. Because waking up and having breakfast like that is priceless. Definitlely recommend going here to others.30 mins to beach, Sagria Familia, Plaça de Catalunya. Taxis in front of the hotel, bus goes every 10 to 15 minuted to the airport. Line A1 to terminal 1, A2 to terminal 2.

The hotel was perfect. Wonderful location, very very stylish interior, friendly staff, and very efficient service. Would totally recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when next visiting Barcelona. We arrived at 11am, and the staff were able to arrange an early check-in and prepare the room with only 30minutes notice. We didn't try the Breakfast, however the breakfast / dining area, bar and outdoor seating area looked like a really pleasant setting. The downstairs bar is stylish and calm. We didn't try the roof terrace however we will on our next visit. Bed's were comfortable, bathroom a good size and really clean, bedrooms also a good size (naturally a bit narrow due to the old building - but really not problematic), very soundproof windows and curtains despite outdoor balcony overhanging busy street. Would certainly recommend and can't wait to stay here again!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay in the terrace suite! Beautiful room and great terrace! The staff was warm and welcoming! This is the best room in the hotel - I will definitely stay here again! Shoutout to the lobby bar and greenhouse staff! Very friendly and helpful! The hotel is in a great location, just a half block from Plaça Catalunya, and the area felt very safe. I will definitely consider staying at other Pulitzer properties!

Great Location - Rooms are quite small, good bathrooms, nice beds and linen. Staff on reception friendly but not very knowlegeble on local area. Rooftop bar and lobby bar are a bonus.

Young, hipster-styled hotel with low flavour. Very nice common areas (the acclaimed rooftop bar is anyway nothing special), super kind young staff, clean rooms, good extra services, but overall it does not qualify as a 4 star. Low care for details (many things have been placed there years ago and lack maintenance) no coffee or tee facilities in the room (not acceptable in a 4 star!), soft beds with no topper. Very central (and noisy) location. Fair price.

Great Hotel with personality and good service, value for the money. Yes its not Luxury but definitely 4+ Great bathrooms, nice touch with balconies and really good aircon. Did I mention the public areas, just beautiful. I will recommend this to my friends.

I had a wonderful four-night stay at the Pulitzer in Barcelona. Specifically, two men at the concierge/check-in counter were incredibly helpful and very patient. Joris and the other name I'm not sure (see photo) but it also starts with a "J" and possibly ends in an "n". They were SO kind during check in, as I made things a bit difficult for them. They also greeted me everytime they saw me. The room was also beautiful and it was made fresh every day. Overall my experience was wonderful. The atmosphere, the room, the service, the roodtop bar, the lounge area. Everything was great. P.S. please give those two men a raise because they were great and certainly deserve it!
