The place has great ambience lake side and atmosphere. However there was an issue with the food I ordered which was grilled fish with lemon butter sauce but they did not add it in the bill and apologized for it. Amazing ambience, great location! I'm not sure if I just wasn't aware or if it's really a hidden gem, but it's definitely a must-visit place! Its right on the water, has a great view of the lake and a bridge, and its away from noisy city lanes. Service is prompt and courteous (a bit extra courteous for foreigners, but hey - that's true all over Udaipur I guess!). The food is very good, although some may find it takes a bit of time getting to the table. This is a place you should plan to enjoy at a leisurely pace. Docked a star because their drinks menu is limited and quite overpriced. Really wish they start offering better beers (where's the Bira and White Rhino?) and a nicer selection of cocktails.

We went on our anniversary day for dinner but didn't have booking & all the lounges were already booked., we requested the manager he gave us that lounge to sit & comfortably had dinner, since we were with our baby otherwise it would have been very difficult for us to manage with baby. Last month on my birthday eve my husband took me in khamma ghani for a romantic candle light dinner. It was a great experience. Warm lights were complimenting the aura. Food tasted good. But the services were very loose. We had to ask to bring the bill for 4 times and that too from different waiters every time. Apart of that everything was fine. You can enjoy lake view along with your dinner.

Poor service...we went there for dinner..and no one bothered to come and ask for order in 30 mins.. Yes you read it right.. 30 mins.. then someone came and took our order... They showed up with water and papad in another 30 mins.. while we froze on the top of terrace.. we had 2 kids with us so we asked for blankets.. but they reserved them for foreigners... They said they are arranging a furnace and took 30 mins and returned with nothing.. in the end we had to leave without eating anything and wasting 90 mins... One of the worst experience of my life... and believe me I have travelled almost 3 continents...

Restaurant by the water. River view is not as nice as more old city restaurants where you can see the City Palace from the restaurant. But it's by the water nonetheless. Advantage is that Uber was able to drop us by the restaurant for lunch. Note: Driver did mention that for dinner he would not have been able to do this since traffic is heavier on the narrow road. Found the price slightly expensive for the quality of food and ambiance. Key thing to note is that service is very slow. Do plan on spending 90 to 120 mins for lunch. Would have been a 5 star otherwise.

Amazing location and great food! It is right on the banks of Lake Pichola with a beautiful view of the city, they have indoor and rooftop seating. It gets busy around 8 so you better get there early to avoid waiting. We waited for about 30 mins before the manager gave us a corner table along the periphery, couldn’t have asked for more. Food took a little time since the restaurant was full but the taste was the best it can get.

A lovely start to our Udaipur trip. Found this gem of a place on TripAdvisor and boy, are we glad that we went there! It was very very busy but we didn't have to wait as we chose to sit in the upstairs area in the sun (we went for lunch, so it was rather warm). Food was excellent as was the service. Couldn't find a fault with any of the items we ordered - it was all delicious. We tried the Laal Maas (mutton dish), the traditional Chicken Mewari and the sweet Navaratna Kurma - all these dishes were excellent and went v well with the Butter Garlic Naan, which was amazing. We topped off theains with the Kulhad Rabdi dessert, which was yum. Will certainly return as the food was truly delicious.

Eating at the bank of lake pichola is wonderful feeling which you get here the place has beautiful authentic ambiance, food is ok. But the service is very slow and poor. We asked to serve the food but they refused to serve the food probably because there were not enough waiters. For each item it takes 20 min minimum waiting time. So if you just want a beautiful view and have no hurry at all you can enjoy this place. Also to reach there you need to go via narrow streets and very small space for parking too.

Third class place and very much overhyped. All tourists visit this place looking at the reviews and the view from the balconies is not that good as it is hyped in the reviews. Also even though the lake side sitting on gaddas was available they asked us to sit on the other side as they wanted to wait for large groups to seat them at lake side sitting. Except the 5-6 lake side gadda sitting the whole restaurant was empty as nobody wanted to sit on table chairs.

This is one the most beautiful place to have your supper and enjoy the panoramic view of lake Pichola. This Easy to spot restaurant serves delicious food. But the they take longer time to serve the food. But whatever be the reason, the wait was worthy as it was delicious and served hygienically. They were sanitising the tables once someone leaves the place and the staff was humble and taking proper precautions. Overall it was a good experience there.

Excellent riverside hotel. Has open roof seating on the top with nice tables and sofa seating arrangements. The restaurant also takes special arrangements requests for your personal celebrations like birthdays or anniversaries. Food is excellent with nice portion size. A little on the costly side but that's the premium for the location. The service is a little slow at times due to weekend rush. So ideally you should reach there at least 30 mins before to get a table.

Very crowded... There was a waiting system with a flaw as to the person noting down names in the waiting was not easily available... Have seen in many restaurants the waiting system which is being dealt with properly and the staff on the job is easily visible n accessible while entering the premises... But at Khamma Ghani, Mr. Shekhar who was supposedly to note down the waiting no. was missing n after waiting for 20 minutes, he said that it would b unfair to others i allow u... Coz he was not able to write our name 20 min before as he was not available... Further, one couple was smart enough to just enter n capture the seat available instead of getting their name registered in the waiting list... So poor rating due to their mis-management... Didn't taste the food though as after waiting for 20 min we couldn't wait any further...

I would like to give only 3 stars to this place. I think it's over hyped restaurant in Udaipur. They've tiny space for parking and it's big issue for many. Secondly, waiting time is too much for late comers. These were general problems for visitors who come for dinner, on the other hand, the food quality and service was average. I strictly ordered less spicy food , they gave very spicy food twice. 😢 They spoiled my dinner.

With a lot of local recommendations, visited this place for lunch. Make sure to have a reservation beforehand. There is an open garden seating and a Lakeview seating. They have an extensive drinks and food menu. Going with their regional specialty, I ordered Laal maas, naan, rice and banana split in dessert. The Laal maas Curry was spicy and flavorful. The tartness of the Curry was well balanced. They could have avoided the addition of whole spices in the Curry because in the candlelight, you cannot see it on the plate and if not detected beforehand, you might just bite into the spices and might ruin the taste for you. The Curry went really well with a well made naan. The only concern was that the lake was not clean and due to that, there were a lot of mosquitoes and there was an unavoidable stench. Wish the restaurant would do something about it to make the experience more beautiful.

This place was on our To-Go list after reading a lot of reviews and watching it on youtube videos. The place did not disappoint. The food was great. Had one of the best Gutte ki sabji here. The Veg platter was good too. Only issue, wait time was long, and you had to wait a lot to catch the attention of the staff.

Amazing ambiance, very cosy and beautifully done restaurant. We visited this place for our Diwali dinner. Food is quite nice. If you are looking for a place to have a romantic dinner, this is the one.

One of the best premium restaurants in Udaipur. Has a nice ambiance and enough parking space. The rates are not exorbitantly high considering the quality and ambiance. Though this restaurant is popular for Laal Maas, we liked the Kadaknath Chicken more. The place is usually crowded, hence please make advance booking or have a mindset to wait.

The food i have ever taste in my life. We have visited this restaurant in a very hurry moment because we are getting late for our bus to Delhi. So we ordered very few items from the menu and let me tell you all the items taste is very very good. We all just love that. The view is really great. Vibe is amazing. I hope you could have spent more time on this place. I don't have any photos of food because we don't have the time to take the photos but i strongly recommend this restaurant if you visiting Udaipur.

Awesome Dine In place by the lakeside in UDAIPUR. Celebrated my birthday here on their rooftop by the lake. Thank you to the hospitality of Khamma Ghani Restaurant, my Birthday was one of the most memorable one.

This place is definitely the best food experience. Had a great dine along lakeside with excellent food and beer. They have traditional seating options (low floor) also have normal dining options. Tried some authentic Rajasthani food and they turned out to be great. Take the mix roti platter to get combination of rotis.

Wow, what a restaurant, so awesome , the seating places is just wow,the cool winds from pond even makes it more beautiful, the taste is just awesome of everything you order from here , the ambience is also very awesome and their stuff is polite and helpful, on peek hours you have to wait for 20-30min to get the seat I am talking about. But even if you don't get that you can enjoy their food taste at their different seating spaces available they gave plenty space.

This restaurant is overhyped! The meat was so chewy that we couldn’t eat it. Pasta Man’s was the worst - so chewy and tasteless! The restaurant was so busy that it was hard to get a table. The food was so average that we didn’t want to finish it. The meat was chewy, chicken tasted very very average and overly oily. The view was good but not as good as offered by some other restaurants in Udaipur. Overall very average experience and food was a let down!
