Such a shame. We tried the mozzarella sticks and don't get me wrong, they were lovely. But £9 for 3 sticks I find it excessive. We only tried this and rest of dishes other people were trying looked amazing, but only with this tiny bite and two beers that were smaller size than a pint we spent over £22. It's a cool place, but too expensive for portions sizes, and I wasn't blown away with the service.

A great place to visit if you love cheese! The cheese sandwich was delicious and paired nicely with the honey. The cheese truffle fries was our favourite so highly recommend having this. The waiters were extremely friendly.

Had to try this well regarded establishment in Camden Market. I came on raclette night and it's a fixed £20 all you can eat affair and an additional £12 all you can drink house wine for 90 minutes. The food comprises of boiled potatoes and cauliflower, every so lightly seasoned, ham and cornichons onto which melting cheese from the chef is then scraped on. A simple but nicely dressed leaf salad is also provided. While initially I was somewhat curious about the ingredients, one begins to realise the star of the show is the cheese and the quality it adds to these. House red was fantastic to be fair. Staff were very attentive and well trained. One point, the bathroom facilities are in the market and cost £1 to use. Will come again and try another night and or a selection of their other cheeses which look carefully selected.

The Cheese Bar was good. My son loves cheese so he really wanted to go during half term. We ordered the cheddar sandwich, macaroni cheese, cheese chips and the mozzarella sticks. They were all delicious, the only slightly annoying thing is they don't have a toilet on site.

Here's something for both the Melted Gouda Lover to the Hard Cheese Taster to enjoy! Cheesy Fries had perfect crisp and delicious cheesyness; Five Cheeses Macaroni was juicy and tasty; and the Cheese Puffs was something we had never experienced before. Affordable and tasty drinks too. Be mindful how much you order. These three dishes were plenty to satisfy two people. We left with fully expanded stomachs.

Really great restaurant if you love cheese. The mac and cheese and cheese puffs were really good. Also, enjoyed the wine selection. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely pop in again.

This is a Cheese lovers dream right here! I bought the "Cheese Fiend" voucher for my sister's birthday, Mozarella Sticks, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Whole Baked Cheese and then Dessert. I made a reservation and then unfortunately had to alter it- this was no issue and the service even before my visit had been outstanding. Once at the restaurant the ambience is cozy and the staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. And then there is the food!! Whilst eating I was already planning my next visit, usually with novelty/unique dining experiences I am happy to visit once but I will definitely have to come back to try the fondue

Quite nice experience for a cheese lover The staff is really nice Everything we tried was really tasty, really liked the cheese plate A bit small, and without a bathroom - but you can find the ones from the market nearby Great place while visiting Camden town

Great cheese bistro. Trying to open an international cheese bar. Indulege in comfort food with a selection of cheeses, grilled cheese sandwiches and plates. The brie with smoked chili is spectacular.

Although normally British cuisine is definitely not a good thing, this place is great, so as their offering of cheese. Kind active staff (it's nice they start by offering water), juicy cheese sandwich and a cozy place despite the chaos of the market. Only real problem might be the lack of toilets in the place, but I guess it's a Camden lock thing. Once again, worth the visit!

The Cheese Bar, a heaven for cheese fanatics near and far, Inside Camden Market, you'll see this place shine like a midnight star. Every dish, a celebration of cheese, from gooey to crumbly and beyond, Perfect for cheese lovers, a place where taste buds immediately respond. But beware, my friend, for this cheesy affair, It's not just light bites that float through the air. With each mouthful, your stomach may groan, But fear not, the deliciousness will make it known. The food will do the job, that's for certain, But don't expect it to be mind-blowingly transcendent. It's a satisfying feast, flavours that won't fall flat, Yet one visit may suffice, as the heaviness may hit you like a bat.

If you like cheese, this is the right place for you! Amazing selection and tasty menu with cheese in every dish. Staff is friendly and good wine selection. In summer there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your cheese with a drink. The truffle burger with melted brie and caramelised onion is the best!!

Such a disappointment. We popped in to try their mozzarella sticks and grilled cheese sandwich and my partner got his grilled cheese easily 15 minutes before I got my dish. No apology or explanation and they weren’t busy. He had finished his food when my mozzarella sticks came out and they were so so bland. I left over half behind. For £9 I would have gotten something far tastier in the stalls. The marinara sauce on the side was the cheapest nastiest shop bought sauce you get in a jar. The grilled cheese was nice but the whole experience was ruined when the service ignored our situation. If they cared at all about our experience they would have understood that serving two dishes at completely different times isn’t the standard. Reply: thanks for the reply but we were not offered free drinks and we were just told the mozzarella sticks will be out in a minute. I would have understood if we were told.

Blown away!! Staff were amazing. My date was late so they chatted away and kept me company without being intrusive. They were clearly working hard so it was lovely that they had time to be attentive and good fun. The food!!! Oh wow! I'm still dreaming about it. I had a cheese board (goat, Gouda and cheddar) all came with a perfectly paired accompaniment and crackers. I also ordered the cheese puffs which came with a mini Gouda fondue. I was in absolute heaven. This place is the cats pyjamas!!! Do yourself a favour and visit I've booked a day off work just to go back!

It was the place I had wanted to visit for a long time. Finally, we went there. In general, it was busy during the weekend but not this time. We got our seats on Saturday. The food was excellent, but I felt greasy after some bites. I would recommend the burger. It contains two patties, bacon jam and truffle mayo. In particular, bacon jam added sweetness like caramelised onion. I thought it was onion at first. We also ate a raclette dish and truffle potato. Raclette used blue cheese, but the smell wasn't that strong. However, it was a bit disappointing with just bits of meat. Truffle potato was quite lovely. We drank fresh orange juice, and it was pretty refreshing.

Absolutely great, all of the cheese and their pairings were delicious. The gentleman serving in the bar as both waiter and bar tender was attentive and friendly. Sorry my pictures aren't better but the apple butter jam in the middle, alone but especially with the cheese, was so nice.

This remains one of my favourite spots in London. Took my visiting friends here and we were simply oozing with appreciation and foodgasm as we traversed through the simplicity of the cheeseboard, the joyous crunch of the mozzarella sticks, the delicious dance of caramelised sweet onions and baked Waterloo, the fluffy delight of the lemon curd cheesecake. Come here whether you’re a cheese fanatic or not. Absolutely recommended

The Cheese Bar had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful cheese dishes and wine. We enjoyed bottomless Raclette with bottomless house wine added for 12 pounds. The total for two people was 45 pounds which we felt was very great value for the quality, quantity and service. It is a great experience and I would highly recommend a visit!

Truffle cheese chips was lovely and flavourful, and the christmas special pork belly bites was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft, perfectly cooked. The blue cheese raclette was a bit underwhelming, very oily with the melted cheese, and the beef was tough and not seasoned.

Fantastic place to come if you are in the Camden area. The staff were very friendly, funny and great at recommending what options are best. So much variety to choose from. The images show a “Truffle and Bri burger with chips” just amazing! Reasonable prices for the quality of food. There is a great atmosphere as you have seating found a communal bar and can see what everyone is getting. Plus the staff are right at your fingertips to help.

Absolutely delicious! The truffle cheese burger and grilled cheese sandwiches are AMAZING! Cute, little space to duck into after a day in Camden Market! Oh, and the Amy Whinehouse statue is right out front!

Nice place. Tried the mozzarella sticks, Brie cheese board, mac n’ cheese, and grilled cheese. The mozzarella sticks, cheese board and mac n cheese were all excellent, but we were severely disappointed by the grilled cheese (too small with very little cheese and absolutely no pull). Would maybe come back if I was in Camden, but there’s just so many other options to try so it’s unlikely anytime soon.

Loved this place. We have meant to pop on every time we visit Camden but made a conscious effort and was not disappointed. Food was excellent and the staff so nice and helpful. A real gem of a place

The name says it all--you're there to eat cheese. Anything from the common to the fancy. You can get a cheese plate, cheeseburger, or fondue. And anything in between. There's meat plate too if you have a companion who's not that up for cheese. We got a variety of stuff and nothing disappointed. However, if you need specific suggestions, raclette and stilton sandwich were both instant hits. On the other end of the scale, mac and cheese and fondue were just fine. You can get there a choice of wine (obviously) and some craft beers (very decent). There's space inside as well as some tables outside. The garden option doesn't look fancy. However, given the place is located inside Camden Market it's a great spot for people watching if you're up for it. The service was great. As far as I can tell prices are in line with alternatives.

I so wanted to love the cheese bar! Sadly the food was pretty bland, couldn’t really taste the cheeses in the food we ordered. Perhaps the way to go is wine and cheese board instead of the hot food.

Went for lunch on a Wed afternoon and sat at bar. Ordered the lunch special , grilled cheese (mozzarella with bacon) with house wine. WOW!! One of or the best toasties I have ever had. Please try this place...

The restaurant ambient was lovely, as well as the service and staff. The best treat from the Galician friend at the raclette. I’m a cheese lover, and will definitely be back. Totally recommended

The best of British cheese - Liz Truss would be proud. Some very nice cheese was enjoyed here. I got a cheeseboard with Carmarthenshire Brie, Caerphilly and Cornish Gouda, which were paired with chilli jam, lemon curd and clotted cream fudge respectively. All lovely but I liked the ‘Brie’ most. I also had the Cheddar and Ogleshield grilled sandwich. It was served with honey and I enjoyed it immensely. I also bumped into a friend who I hadn’t seen in some five years, which was great. She and her group were sat next to us and so I have my suspicions that the restaurant secretly arranged this meeting, which was very thoughtful and a nice touch. Cheese!

Food was very good, but portions sized are quite small for the price. Also as the name suggests, you sit at a bar height counter or table so it's not very access friendly. The hostess was lovely too

Huge shout out to the chefs who masterminded the most epic dinner at this establishment tonight. I thought I knew and loved cheese and then I came here, and it changed the game. Every single dish is a grand slam. Impeccable cheese on every level combined with the most lovely server, Victoria. So much attention to detail and their advice was spot on. Wine or the month and the pork belly special was also a treat. Couldn’t love or recommend this place more!
