👍 A great green space on the edges of North London, great for a dog walk and a coffee. Park at Forty Hall and walk by the river to Beggars Hollow. Pick up a coffee and then complete the loop back to Forty Hall via the walled garden. People often mention park, garden, great, beautiful, walk, Hall, walking, house,

Superb green area full of beautiful flowers and trees providing a secluded, safe and peaceful tracks. There are so many beautiful spots to be explored. It is great walking, cycling lanes. There are some ponds and areas for fishing. Also a lot of history and folk history - apparently ghosts haunting some parts of the place! :-)

A beautiful and easily accessible place for a walk and a great place to relax. Woodland and parkland, streams and lakes and a fabulous ornamental garden surrounding the old house. Dog owners take note: please train your dogs to poop in your own garden before you leave.

This is the best place you can go to in Enfield. This place will take your breath away with its beauty: perfect for families, children, adults, elderly and for sports. It’s Free, time to time it’s not as clean but I’m sure council is working towards making it a cleaner place.

Beautiful large park with a lovely mix of formal gardens (walled garden has year-round colour), wide grass areas, river and lakeside walks. Woodland play area, cafe, museum and toilets. Ducks, geese, herons and cormorants. Free car park. Something for everyone! Wonderful in the Autumn.

Forty Hall country park is full of such wonderful things to explore but ai particularly love walking my St Bernard here! There is ample space to be be on or off lead (in designated spots), a handy car park which leads perfectly to where we love to walk- surrounded by trees as well as open space. People and other dogs are friendly in this park and that creates such a wonderful atmosphere and a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful nature!!

You may need a car, or a long walk to get here, but the stroll around the gardens is worth it. You can explore the neat and light-drenched interiors in less than an hour-- they have kept many of the 17th century features too. And there's a beautifully kept English-style garden too. And it's all free!

Lovely park and gardens, beautiful blooms and trees, wildfowl on the lake, plenty of gentle walking paths. Shame that the little cafe has closed. Bring a picnic!

Despite the grey English summer, there's always colour and vibrancy at Forty Hall from the Farm, farm shop with organic foods for sale, gardens (walled and open) picnic areas, ducks & geese (and this time of year broods of goslings picking their way through the daisies), Sunday concerts on the grass, Arts & Crafts exhibitions and coffee shops. Never a dull moment and all do-able in half a day. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful place, stunning gardens and a great dog walking destination The old country house is well worth a visit. Plenty of parking especially early mornings. There is a Caffe, a farm and a decent farm shop, all together great day out.

Always has something different to offer as the seasons go by, very tranquil places to sit, the rose garden at the back of the house is a lovely place to gather your thoughts, hard to believe that you are only 12 miles from central London.

I visited here in September 2022 as part of walking the London Loop route around London. This is a large park with lots of areas to explore.

A very peaceful and relaxing place to have a picnic or go for a walk. The old house in the park is also a discoverable building was really interesting to enter the house. Has a flower garden and small lake. Less dogs compared to other places.

Very green and quiet location. You can go inside the forty hall house. There is often a great ice cream van in the car park - recommend the baklava and ice cream. 👌

This really is a lovely park that's free to visit and explore. The route of the London Loop passes along one side of the park but there are many different paths to explore. If you're looking for a river walk, woodlands, open fields or a walled garden then you'll find them all here at Forty Hall. There's also a farm shop and a cafe for when you need refreshment. This is a great place for all the family with dogs included.
