Good place to hangout with friends and family.A nice place. The park beside it is well maintained and the scenic beauty is intensified after a little rain. It has a couple friendly environment. If you're walking from the main road to reach the ghat, you can see the well maintained barrack areas and the greenery.... have a good day!

The entry of the park is 50 per each person according to 2023. Inside the park there is a restaurant. The place is situated at the bank of the Hooghly river. The parking charge is 10 rupees for bike. You have to park your vehicle near by 100 meters ahead from the park

This is historical Venue at Barrackpore & nothing much to explain however few important points for all visitors. This is a very nice & peaceful area now & the park is actually now ticketed so one needs to pay to spent time here.

This place doesn’t have the care and attention that it deserves. The Ghat and the riverside was so beautiful that it would have been made more attractive if the authorities could just take a look at it. I had to pay ₹50/- for my car, though I hardly spent five minutes.

View of river Ganges is beutiful specially during sunset. Enjoy quality time with special one. But the entry fee 50 rupees is little high as the park is not maintained well, no flower garden, jungle not cleaned regularly, overall total park lacks maintenance.

Ghat view was awesome at sunset. You can spend your time with your family and friends. The ghat was not very clean though. Outside some people are collecting parking fee of 50 rupees for a 4 wheeler, but didn't provide any receipt. I am not sure where our hard earned money is going. Anyway the place is at riverside and you won't regret coming here, 1 hour can be spend.

Nice place with a very good view of the river. Watching the sunset is a joy from here. Sitting on the river side enjoying the cold breeze you will surely forget about time passed so quickly. and tickt price is ₹10.

Mangal Pandey Ghat and adjacent park is best suitable for couples,as I noticed. The greenery and sculpture of the park is mind blowing but the surrounding views are not so familiar. Also there are problem of extorting money in the name of gods. May be weekend is better for visiting.

Just a ordinary Ganga Riverside Ghat, built in memoir of Mangal Pandey, one of the freedom fighters from Barrackpore, now used by common people living there. It's getting too much polluted day-by-day for non-activeness of government & under-maintained area. Garbages are scattered here & there. No scenic view outside the main park. Also Park entry fee - 50/-. Not recommended for a day outing because many unethical works are done here. There're a resturant & a small temple just beside the park. I didn't enter the park as it was not so good place for being with friends. Not suitable for children at all though many animal structures are inside.

The adjacent park, which is used as a picnic spot as well, is too noisy. Parking is available inside and outside, inside rs 100 outside rs 50. One can take a boat ride from the ghat. Couple of shops sell snacks and ice cream. Visit in the evening to enjoy the setting sun.

Good place, neat and clean. Well maintained. Most beautiful part of this park is the riverside restaurant. You’ll get a dhaba experience along with a riverside café. Food is good.

One of the best place to hangout with your friends and loved ones in Barrackpore. If you are visiting Barrackpore for first time then this place is a must visit. Ask any Toto for this place when you arrive in Barrackpore railway station and they will take you here for 20 rs per person. Must come here and enjoy the exquisite Ganges.

An amazing place to be at. Got my first chance of viewing the force of water. We call it 'baan' in Bengali. We were suddenly given warning by a screaming local man. I was wondering why was he asking us to leave the Ghat asap. Looking at his pointed finger I could see the dashing waves at a distance. But within a couple of minutes it was a couple of meters away from our spot. I almost screamed in terror looking for my daughter....God bless that man! May he live a happy and healthy life for saving our lives...

Park is nice. Beautiful location. View of the Ganges is mind blowing. But everything in the park is on the verge of breaking. Soe swings, slides are already broken. If you charge fees for entry, then maintain it properly. Anyways nice place to enjoy with kids. Reducing stars for poor maintenance.
