It's a very relaxing place to go, one of the main sightseeing in the city, at the moment, and the variety of food is great too, there are so many options it's really hard to choose one! You have a great time here, every time, even if it's just for a walk, totally worth it and totally recommended!

The Gran Malecon on Barranquilla is something to be seen. Specifically sector gastronomico has all of these restaurants in this building- so whatever you're in the mood for, you can get it here. We ended eating at Cocayo-a typical, local venue serving up traditional Colombian favorites.

It was a nice experience to visit. Different kinds of restaurants. Great food and varied flavours. Prices are competitive. The place has a good street-side parking and it is beautiful to see how the inmensity of the river that flows by its side is contained by small walls below and a big deck where to sit and gaze.

The malecon has everything for everyone to have a good time. The food section has a great variety of cuisine and bars. There is a playground for the kids and a variety of sports fields. People can walk, skate, or ride a bike or all along the malecon. Sometimes, there are fitness classes, too!

The Malecon is located right next to the Magdalena River and runs for quite a long way. Nice place to walk and view the river and wildlife. There is a nice variety of restaurants available and prices are reasonable. Also, very nice accommodations for exercise and sports located along the Melacon. Only downside is the smell of the river, not overpowering, but unpleasant nonetheless. Some interesting artwork featuring Caiman is scattered throughout the area as well. Overall, it's worth your time to visit. No tickets or reservations needed.

Great place to walk around, relax, have some snack and or to do picknic. With the view of the Magdalena river and enchantment of barranquilla and it's people.

Lots of fast food (not exactly gastronomic), but nice views outside for a beer or two.

Beautiful sunsets can be catched up here. Night experience is also nice. The city has a variety of activities going on there, sometimes.

Full of life, nice food, art and music. This place is a far cry from the awful place Barranquilla used to be. Hopefully this means great things for this city in the future. Only downside is the parking situation. Maybe a taxi is a better option?

😐 It's green and stuff, but there isn't much to do there. I expected more of a place that calls itself Jardin Botanico.
