    The building is brand-new and very clean but the food at the lounge was limited & poor for a 5-star hotel. And plus, the sound of the music from the restaurant & bar was so loud that we felt a little uncomfortable.

    Great for a good Sunday brunch. I haven't stayed here but have been here for brunch several times. Good selection good food good service. Music is a little loud for my taste because I like to talk but if you're more of a louder music at brunch person then it should be good. I would definitely recommend it.

    The hotel and staff are amazing, friendly and so quick to help you with anything you need. Everyone is always smiling. The food in each of the restaurants is amazing. Even the Café with all the sweets has great options and pricing is great as well. Anytime we need help from the staff at the front desk has been pleasant and they are willing to make our stay the most enjoyable.

    Nice property, unfortunately poorly managed. The one night I spent there was a party in the hotel with all out live blasting music until past 1AM. Music was in the 2nd level was so loud you could barely talk in the reception area and heard all the way to my room in the 8th floor. Initially I though it was someone’s TV in a nearby room but no…it was a hotel own’s party. After about 3-4 calls to the front desk and “allow us a few minutes to investigate”….I was basically told “party should end around 1AM…”. Had to dress and come downstairs to at least ask if I could be moved to a different room. I was given a room at the other wing of the hotel and that seemed to help… but action was taken only around 1am and couldn't sleep until 2am anyway. Had to wake up at 6am for an early meeting so only 4hrs sleep. Next morning talked to the Ops Manager (nice lady) but basically told party is a party and sorry it was so loud…This property has a total disregard for its own guests for the extra profit in renting their space to very loud late night parties… (if at least guests are invited!!)…

    I especially made a reservation in the hotel, because they told me they allowed dogs. Arrived on the day with my dog and was denied access. My dog recently had surgery and poor thing had to sit in the sun, until they straight up told me I couldn't stay there. poor thing .

    I wanted to give a try to this hotel, even I always use the Crowne Plaza. It ended being a huge mistake. First, my flight got delayed and I ended arriving one day later. When I asked the hotel to extend my reservation one day because I arrived one day late, they said NO and emphasized that I lost one night because I arrived late. (Last February, a similar situation happened to me with the Crowne Plaza and they understood and gave me a credit back for two nights!) During my stay in the Marriot, I experienced many issues: They assigned me a room where you could hear everything from the next room. I didn't sleep at all because of the noise. Then, one day the front desk had the nerve to call me because they received complains about me talking too loud at 2:30 p.m.!! When I couldn't sleep during the night because my neighbors were too loud at 3:00 a.m.!! The service in that hotel is ok, but nothing that impressed me. The breakfast in Crowne Plaza is way better and completely free. Instead, in this Marriott hotel, they charge you if you want something extra during breakfast. I had to stay one extra day and when I asked for some discount or credit due to the fact that I lost one night, they denied any type of discount and charged me full price. Bottom line, I will never come back and I don't recommend this hotel. The location is bad, construction around, the main street near the hotel is closed and you have to circle around to get to the hotel. Basically, don't stay here

    I don't evaluate the rooms and the service because I don't stay at the hotel. I only went to the hotel for a birthday party. The Marriot Hotel is really elegant and modern, the birthday party was amazing. The principal lounge is huge, the decoration was from another world. But I think that the entrance and the main course wasn't good. The fish didn't look fresh. I hope the next time, I am gonna have a better experience with the food.

    Beautiful Hotel. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, the food is delicious. You will fall in love with every detail in this hotel. I recommend Barranquilla Marriott 100%

    The Barranquilla Marriott Hotel is absolutely a worldclass hotel. The front desk attendant Ruben was not only attentive but answered all of our questions and helped us out upon our check-in. This hotel is located in Purrto Colombia area and will not disappoint. Start here instead of the Hilton Garden Inn Barranquilla.

    typical Marriott ! away from the tourist spots of RIO but if traffic plays ball easy to commute. good breakfast choice and decent restaurant. Good view of the hills but where is the beach ?😁

    Good customer, clean room, and sufficient amenities. It was easy to check and out. The bar and restaurant had great options, and the cafe had terrific cakes and treats for your sweet tooth.

    Second time we stayed at the hotel ,we love the room and the design of the hotel especially Amari restaurant.we arrived on Friday and the next day we had breakfast around 10 am. Really disappointed with whole experience when approaching the Hostess counter and 2 peoples there, they just asked the room number with the impression of not willing to help, no smile or greet customers. I felt like entering your parking give plate number and find your own parking. It's exactly like what we feel when entering the restaurant no body assist us to the table or explain what time buffet closed. When we go to grab food, we can't believe buffet half empty and no refill. Waiter so busy set up table for lunch instead of looking after the guests. Please be more alert with the guests around we don't want to know your personal life problems guests want to enjoy the food and have a pleasant morning. Smile will not make you old, but will make guests happy. One more thing we checked in for 2 people but 1 small bottles mineral water in the room? Seriously dont be stingy with amenities in the room.

    I’ve has something happen here that has never happened before in more than 20 years of travel. According to the digital menu, you’re supposed to press the in-dining button on the phone to order. There is no such button on the phone so I tried the next possible thing, the At Your Service button. Which is not working. Neither is the emergency button next to it by the way. So I looked up the hotel’s phone number and I called - no reply. I went down to the reception and a hotel representative came with me and admitted he did not know what was going on. Very disappointing and confusing. There are no instructions on the phone on how to reach any of the hotel staff - and the fact that the emergency button is not working is downright worrying. Other than that - nice clean rooms, bed, etc. bit in the middle of nowhere. I would not come back.

    The Best service I received in Barranquilla. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My favorite part was the breakfast service. Alexander was my server everyday and he is incredible! Thank you all for everything!!!

    Fairly priced for a 4.5 Star hotel. Everything is new. Most of the staff speaks English, and we’re very helpful. The Amira restaurant and bar area were pretty good!

    Brand new hotel in Barranquilla that it's probably the best. It's modern, elegant and well designed, it's meticulously keep. The staff is friendly and always attentive to your needs. Also noticeable was a high degree of discrete security, not bad Marriott, in Barranquilla you take the crown 😉

    My wife and I have stayed here twice now and I consider the Barranquilla Marriott my happy place. Amazing service, kind staff, delicious food everywhere I go. I just love it here.
